"Adrien, what is the meaning of this?"  Gabriel asks.

          "Father, what is going on?" Adrien asks. He can not figure out why his dad is so upset in the first place.

        "The mayor just gave me a call and says you broke his daughter, Chloe's heart,"  Gabriel says angrily.

    Gabriel glares at his son to show his disapproval at once.  "Now, is this true, Adrien?"  Gabriel asks.

    "Father, listen to me!" Adrien says.

    "Your father has grown tired of your petty excuses for your bad behavior toward others," Natalie remarks with a scowl.

     "I am sorry to be such a disappointment  to you, but I do not love Chloe!" Adrien yells at his father.

    "I never have and I never will!" Adrien says furious that his father should give him trouble about telling that pest off.

   "Well, whoever this girl is that makes you speak ill of Chloe, and mistreat her is never welcome in this house," Gabriel says angrily.

    "For that matter, I refuse to let you see her again!" Gabriel remarks.

    "Father, how could you do this to me?  No, wonder mother left. It is probably because you were such a grumpy, insane person!" Adrien screams and leaves the room.

     Natalie watches Adrien walk away, and says, "Gabriel, I can not believe you just let him disrespect you like this! "

     "Natalie how I deal with son is my business, not yours.  You are just a servant so mind your own business!" Gabriel says.

    Adrien's  POV:
   He can not believe this. This is so unfair, sure his father is strict, but that does not give him the right to forbid him to see the girl he loves.  He can not stop him from loving who he loves or from being with her no matter what it takes.

     Natalie's POV:

    Gabriel should not let Adrien walk all over him like this. The boy needs discipline, but he can not seem to see this at all.

  Gabriel's  POV:
   Adrien should not have been rude to Chole, she is the perfect match for him.  No one else could possibly bring him up as well as she can and besides, her father and I have made a deal.  A deal that no one else can break.  

  There is no way my son plans to act on what he says, he is just upset that is all. He will get over it soon enough and once Chloe and him's engagement is announced he will soon forget all about whoever she is that made him so bad-tempered.
    

    *Author's note: Who does Adrien love?  Why his father so insistent that Adrien is nicer to Chloe anyway?   What does he have against the girl Adrien loves?
