Dormant DarkWing Genes Explained
I mentioned dormant genes in DarkWings but I didn't explain.One is a gene that allows said DarkWing to be larger,stronger,and faster than if the gene was dormant.That is why even the RiverWings tend to call the DarkWings "DemonWings".One which is extremely rare is the gene that lets them adapt to the largest amount of an element their body is introduced to.Often,it is the own fire in their body that they adapt to,but if they were raised in,persay,an cold area they would be able to freeze water but only that.If they were raised very close to the ocean,they would be able to breathe underwater without gills.However,this gene rarely activates,and can be dormant in a DarkWing lineage for millenia and no one dares mess with DarkWing eggs to test what would happen in other locales or weathers.
