Teacher: Okay, class, we are going to read Shakespeare's Sonnet 18. Follow along as I read... Shall I compare thee...

Musical fan: (Singing)...to a summer's day!

Teacher: (Side eye-ing the fan) Okay, moving along... thou art more lovely and more temperate, rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, and summer's lease...

Musical fan: (Singing/shouting) Hath all to short a date! I love the admiration, though others may abhor it, it's quite a new sensation! What shall we call it?! (Singing) Willlllll power...

(Teacher glares at the fan)

Musical fan: Oh, I'm sorry, were we NOT just singing "Will Power" from Something Rotten?

[U.S. History]

Teacher: Okay, who can tell me who wrote the Federalist Papers and how many each man wrote?

Musical fan: Alexander joins forces with James Madison and John Jay to write a series of essays defending the new United States Constitution, entitled the Federalist Papers. The plan was to write 25 essays, the work divided evenly among the three men. In the end, they wrote 85 essays in the span of six months. John Jay got sick after writing five. James Madison wrote twenty nine. HAMILTON WROTE THE OTHER FIFTY ONE!!!

[World History class]

Teacher: Okay, who can tell me about Anne Boleyn?

Musical fan: (singing) Anne's that Boleyn girl and she's up next, yeah she broke England from the church, yeah she's that sexy, why did she lose her head? Well, her sleeves may be green but her lipstick's red.

[Spanish class]

Teacher: Vamos a tomar una prueba de vocabulario. Pueden comenzar... ahora.
[Translation: We are going to take a vocabulary quiz. You may start... now.]

Musical fan: (Singing "Sunrise" from In The Heights to herself while filling in the answers) Calor, heat. Anoche, last night. Dolor, pain... that's right. Llámame, call me. Azul, blue. Ámame, love me... perhaps I do.

[The teacher and students glare at her]

[History class... again]

Teacher: Okay, how do we define anarchy?

Musical fan: (Pumping fists) REVOLUTION, JUSTICE, SCREAMING FOR SOLUTION! FORCING CHANGES, RISK AND DANGER, MAKING NOISE AND MAKING PLEAS! (Singing) TO FA...

Teacher: SIT DOWN!
