Two Puzzle Pieces
Hi guys, ARE YOU READY!!! XD Before you start reading I forgot one thing to say in the last thing I posted.....Have you guys heard that THE ORIGINAL TEEN TITANS ARE COMING BACK!!! I'M SOOOOO HAPPY!!! EEEEEEEKKK!!! *breaths* Ok anyway.......the moment you have been waiting for has ARRIVED! ( btw this takes place a few weeks after "Knitting") Here......You.....Go!(2017 versions)
Part 1: "Mysteries or hanging out" :
It was around lunch time, Louie was most likely knitting, and Huey was reading his 'Junior Woodchuck Guidebook,' or J.W.G for short. Donald was probably tidying up the house boat, who knows. Mrs. Beakly was of course cleaning cleaning, while Launch Pad would walk around eating chips, which would fall on the ground bothering Mrs. Beakly, and Scrooge was planning his next adventure. But Dewey and Webby were hanging out in her room, they were scrambling around trying to look through old newspapers and reading through some books from the library of Scrooge McDuck.
Dewey was reading an old article about an adventure that his mom, Uncle Donald, and great Uncle Scrooge went on. In the middle of his reading he heard a faint humming noise. He wasn't sure where it was coming from, so instead he decided to ignore it........but something about it was so calming and almost put him to sleep. He shook his head. He turned to look at his best friend, Webby, she was looking through some books while humming that sweet song. Her humming was sooo beautiful that Dewey just couldn't help but ask, "Where did you learn that song from?" He startled Webby.
"Oh!.....um.....y-you heard me?" She blushed embarrassed. "My mom used to sing it to me, to put me to sleep.....it's all I can remember of her." Webby sighed looking at the ground sadly.
"Oh?.....Well it sounded really pretty, your voice is pretty too." Dewey quickly covered his beak, slightly blushing.
Webby looked up, slightly blushing as well. "Uh......t-thanks."
"Are you sure that's all you can remember of your mom? No picture, no nothing?" Dewey questioned, curious.
Webby shrugged, "Yea..." she frowned.
no one spoke for a few minutes, until Webby broke the silence.
"So, did you find anything?" She asked Dewey.
"Nothing" he closed the newspaper, on the front it showed a picture of Della, Scrooge, and Donald. He looked at it gloomily.
Before Webby could say something, they heard a knock on the door. They started to freak out, Dewey threw the newspaper on the floor, now showing a picture of a basketball game. Dewey and Webby moved close to each other blocking the books and newspapers. They were holding hands, they were very nervous, especially Webby! She was squeezing Dewey's hand so hard that he thought it was going to break any minute, but he didn't mind, he tried to ignore it.
It was Mrs. Beakly, now standing in the doorway, informing Webby on something. "Lena is here, and she said that she wants to 'hang'?" Mrs. Beakly used her fingers to quote the 'hang' part.
Webby's eyes lit up, now letting go of Dewey's hand. Dewey was kinda upset because she let go of his hand, he couldn't understand why?
"Can I go hang out with Lena?!?" Webby squealed, asking her granny.
"Um.....well" Webby was giving her granny those puppy eyes, those eyes that Webby knew her granny couldn't resist.
Mrs. Beakly sighed in defeat, "Ok, fine you can go!"
"Really?!? YES!!!! Thanks granny!" Webby exclaimed, jumping up and down.
Dewey was just standing their, enjoying this adorable scene..........."Wait.....WHAT?!?"
"On one condition, Dewey has to go with you." Mrs. Beakly stated, pointing at the blue duckling.
"Sure!" Webby squealed, " That just means I get to hang out with two of my best friends!"
Mrs. Beakly looked at Dewey, seeing if he was ok with going, he gave her two thumbs up with his famous Dewey grin. (I just love his grin! XD) After she got her answer she closed the door then left.
"Sooo before we go, I need to tell you something that I thought about." Dewey walked up to the girl, twiddling his thumbs.
She seemed curious, so he continued, " I was thinking that maybe, since you are also curious about your mom, that we could maybe look for her at the same time as we look for my mom."
"Really? You would help me find out about my mom as well?" She started to tear up just thinking about finding out about her mother.
He smiled, "Of course, I mean your helping me and keeping my secret, that it's only fair to help you find out about your mom as well."
She tackled him into a hug, tears dripping onto his sleeve, but he didn't mind, and just hugged back. "Thank you!" She whispered.
They let go of each other blushing, "No problem, really." He smiled at her. They were both getting lost into each others eyes, they shook their heads and blushed a little more looking away from each other.
"Webby!" They heard a faint yell that came from down stairs, it was her granny.
"We're coming!" Webby shouted back.
"So it looks like I'm coming, which means I'm going to be your knight.......in a blue shirt!" They both giggled. (I just love the word 'giggled'! It's such an adorable word! XD)
"Yea! I never had a Knight before! Alright Knight, It's going to be a tough battle out there, so you have to keep a close eye out for me!" Webby circled around Dewey, who was now in a military salute, playing along.
"Yes ma'am!" Dewey saluted.
They both snickered, which burst into laughter. "Ok, but seriously, we need to make a vow." Dewey raised his hand and put his other on his heart, and Webby did the same. "I vow to never leave your side no matter what happens, to always protect you, and to always fight by your side." Dewey stated.
"I vow the same thing!" Webby agreed. "Alright, now that that's out of the way, we need to get going, LENA'S WAITING!!" We squealed hiding their books and newspapers about Della, then she ran out of her room, with Dewey following close behind. He slammed the door closed behind him.
Meanwhile:
"Ok, you got the plan?" Magica asked her pupil in training.
Lena rolled her eyes, "Of course I do, you explained it like 10 times already!"
"This Is serous Lena! You have to-"
Lena cut her shadow aunt off, "Yea, yea I know! I have to take this serous and keep my eye on the prize, or dime! Why do you need that thing anyway? They're more dimes that I can easily find on the ground! But yet you want me to do all this work for this one DIME!?!"
"That's because ugh- I need it to set me free, and this is a special type of dime, this dime is the only dime that can set me free. You don't want to be alone anymore right? If I get that dime I can be free and help you become rich and get food whenever you want." She lied, but Lena didn't know that.
"Fine!" She sighed, arms folded, looking at the ground.
"What's taking that girl duck so long, I'd thought she'd be here by now?" Magica asked impatiently.
"I don't know, probably trying to convince her granny if she can come." Lena stood in front of the door waiting, becoming bored.
After a few bickering words with Lena and Magica, they heard a loud 'weeee' and a 'wooooohooo!' Lena knew who were coming, and one of them were going to get in her way, and that duckling is Dewey.
"What are you going to do with the blue one? You need to handle this somehow, he's going to get in the way of our plans!" Magica disappeared, before the door opened up to show Webby and Dewey in the door way, looking ready for anything.
Lena thought to herself "Oh don't worry, I got it covered...."
