Coloration: Normally dark shades of blue, purple, green and grey, bioluminescent markings are white or silver, eyes can be any color, interior of their mouth is extremely reflective.

Abilities: Head frills and wing membranes can flash white similar to what most squid do, Able to create small emp blasts to stun prey (only works under water), can withstand emense changes in water pressure and temperature, echolocation and can speak underwater. They also have a second pair of jaws towards the back of their mouth
