Chapter 6
Kakashi felt another hand, this one smaller, grab onto his own. He looked down and saw it was Raiden has his hand in his grip. He subconsciously snuggled more into the older man, feeling more warm.
Kakashi finally relaxed completely, letting sleep grab a hold of him and frag him deeper into darkness. The last thing he heard was the light snoring of the kids, and Saya's light voice.
"Welcome to the family, Kakashi"

It was a beautiful day. The birds were chirping, the sun rising, casting a magnificent color over the village, the villagers themselves were starting to wander out of their homes, greeting each other and starting their day. Ninja's were leaving, getting ready to take on more missions and saying their goodbye's to their family's. It was a quite, normal day. Beautiful indeed.
"Oh who am I kidding" Saya muttered, pulling whatever piece of warmth she had in her arms and pulling it closer. Or more like pulling them closer. Or just one person. She noticed how whoever she was holding was much too big to be one of her kids, and much more muscular. She cracked one eye open, looking up at the person next to her. She looked straight into a single eye. An eye that was staring down at her in amusement.
"Good morning"
No, that was not a turn on. Saya shook her head a little, trying to get the sound of his morning voice out of her head. Instead she just mumbled a good morning and snuggled more into him, ignoring her last thoughts.
'I hope those three know how to cook well' she heard a voice in her head, making her sigh. "They do, a little bit" she said into his chest, answering his unspoken question. "Mmm" Kakashi chuckled, looking down at the girl in amusement. For a 15 year old, she was quite mature, even more than your normal 15 year old shinobi. Taking care of three four year old's while trying to keep them safe from rouges and such must have been hard. So it was amusing to him seeing her act like this. Like a child. A cute embarrassed child.
His arms tightened around her, letting her drift slowly back to sleep. he wasn't worried about the kids much, the ninken were with them. Wait, now that he thought about it, that was probably not the best choice. He shrugged, ignoring it for now. Instead he let himself drift back to sleep too. He ignored it when the door moved slightly and heard giggling. He smiled a little, knowing exactly who it was.

Rin giggled, seeing her mom and the man she looked up to snuggling together on the bed. She ran back to the kitchen, were her brother and sister were along with their new friends. The smile never leaving her face.
Raiden looked up when his little sister ran back into the kitchen, leaving the bacon to itself for a little while while it cooked. He raised an eyebrow, he knew his sister well, and knew that she smiled all the time, bit this was the first time she smiled that brightly in a while. 'Something good must have happened' he thought, giving a piece of finished bacon to Bull.
Kira glared at Pakkun, not backing up from their little staring contest. She snapped out of it when she heard the sound of bread coming out of the toaster. "YASS!" she cheared when she saw that the ninken had blinked first. The small ninken sighed, watching as the little girl took out the toast and put some more in.
Rin ran straight towards Biscuit, Guruko, Uhashi, Akino, and Uhei. She smiled brightly at them, telling them what she saw, making the five dogs share a look, along with Bull and Pakkun who had heard her across the room. 'This will get interesting' they all thought, chuckling.
"Alright! We got everything ready right? I got the toast ready, Raiden! You got the eggs and the bacon?" Kira asked her brother, making him nod. "OK! Breakfast is ready! But...I feel like we're missing something..." she trailed off, getting into a thinking pose, stroking her imaginary beard.
"Uh, Kira, I think you forgot about getting the table ready.." Rin's soft voice spoke up, making her sisters eyes widen.
"Oh right! I knew that!" Kira exclaimed loudly, making the ninken deadpan at her. 'yah right'.
"I'll get the table set, Kira, why don't you got get mom up?" Rin said softly, smiling at her sister. Kira grinned at her sister, "thanks Rin! I'll go get mom and Kakashi-sama up!" she ran out of the kitchen, leaving her sister to it.
She barged into the room, only to stop when she saw her mother and the man she looked up to snuggling together in bed. She rolled her eyes and jumped onto the bed, jumping around them both. "COME ON! COME ON! UP UP UP UP! WE GOT BREAKFAST READY!" she screamed, making Kakashi groan and Saya to laugh. Kakashi's hand latched onto her ankle, dragging her down next to him. He threw his arms around her, locking her into place, forcing her not to move.
"HEY!" she screamed, struggling to get away from him. "Now now, child, shhh" Kakashi petted her hair, hugging her closer to his chest. Saya got up slightly, looking down at the situation her trouble maker was in. She roller eyes before climbing over them both and walking out of the room, leaving them both alone.
"Can you let me go now?" Kira asked after five minutes. She had stopped struggling a minute ago, shocking Kakashi slightly. He had thought she would last longer than that.
"What do you say first?" he taunted her, letting her go a little to smirk down at her. She pouted, "please Kakashi-sama?" she whined, giving him her puppy-dog eyes. Kakashi's eyes widened, letting her go immediately. Kira shot forward, kicking him slightly along the way, laughing.
"Kakashi-sama? You know, I found that adorable yesterday, but now with your reaction, I worry a little" he heard a voice coming from the doorway. He groaned, "It was the eyes" he banged his head back into the pillow, groaning louder.
Saya laughed, "yah, she can really get you with those, tho I do have to say, Rin's has been more effective in battles" she said, putting her pointer finger on her cheek in a thoughtful position. Kakashi looked up, "you have actually used that in battle?" he asked, astonished. "You would be surprised at what type of tricks the kids have used in battle before and gotten away with it" she smiled at him, handing him a mug of coffee when he sat up in bed.
"The kids actually got breakfast ready, hope you don't mind, come down when your ready" she walked out of the room, giving him a chance to drink his coffee.
He followed his nose when he finally walked out of his room, refreshed. Walking into the kitchen, he saw his ninken eating their own share of breakfast, along with the three kids and their mother sitting at the table, talking animatedly. "Ah, Kakashi-san!" Rin stood up, scurrying over tot he counter and putting a plate in his place on the table. He nodded at her, sitting in his spot. He looked at all four of them, noticing how they all kept talking, only they kept their gaze down at their plates, giving him his privacy.
He blinked, feeling a warm fuzzy feeling in his chest. He looked over at his ninken, who gave him a nod and grins back at him.
He smiled, maybe having them stay with him won't be so bad after all.
