Chapter 5
He looked down at the paper, making him freeze. "Uh, Kakashi, is everything ok?" Saya asked while the children poked him. "Huh?" he snapped back, looking at her. "Uh, yah, hahah, all good" he laughed nervously. 'That sly old man' he thought, scrunching up the paper in his hand.

"Hey Kakashi-sama, can I ask you a question?" Kira spoke up nervously, looking up at him. "Hmm?" Kakashi turned to look at her, indicating for her to continue. "Uh, well....we wanted to know if you...uh...if you wouldn't mind...training us a little" she asked. Raiden and Rin looked at him expectantly.
Kakashi blinked, surprised they would ask him. He smiled, "how about we smile tomorrow ok? It would be best if you guy's get some rest." The children cheered in excitement.
"Did you hear that mom?!? He said he would help us train!" Kira yelled, clinging onto Saya. Saya smiled, "I heard alright, now don't you think it would be best you guys get some good night rest so you can show him just what you can do?" Saya persuaded, smiling brighter when the three kids nodded enthusiastically.
She chuckled softly, watching with Kakashi the three children celebrating. "I should thank you, it's not always easy getting them to go to sleep, especially Kira" Saya said, smiling brightly at Kakashi. He chuckled, "thank me when they actually go to sleep early" he said, smiling back at her.
They stopped in front of a two story house, a white fence in the front. "Well, here we are. And these would be the keys" Kakashi said, the key's dangling from his hand. He blinked when the keys disappeared from his hand, watching the three kids jump over the fence and try to open the door.
Saya sighed, "Sorry about that" Kakashi chuckled, "no problem."
She looked up at the house, "not bad" she whistled slightly, impressed and shocked with the house. 'Why would the Hokage trust us enough to give them a house like this' Saya thought. Kakashi smiled brightly, "thanks" he said, surprising Saya. "Wait Kakashi you mean this-" she stopped when she heard the girls scream, causing them to shoot forward, barging in the front door, only to stop at the sight in front of them.
"I don't believe it" Kakashi said, amusement clear in his eye. He watched Pakkun try to explain to Rin how he kept his paw so soft, while Kira and Raiden played with the other ninja hounds surrounding them.
"Well, it seems that they have found my ninken dogs" Kakashi explained, taking in her flabbergasted look. She laughed, shaking her head.
"It seems so, I have to ask though, why didn't you tell me that we were gonna end up in your house?" she asked, pursing her lips. Kakashi shrugged, "I didn't know until I saw the address in the paper that Hokage-sama gave you" he explained. Saya frowned, "that isn't exactly fair. We'll stay in an inn for tonight and I'll talk to Hokage-sama about finding somewhere else to stay" she said. Kakashi shook his head, "It's ok, Hokage-sama must have done this for a reason" he said, making Saya flinch slightly before sighing. 'True, he wasn't gonna trust us that easy' she thought.
"It's fine, plus, it seem's that their getting along" Kakashi said, pointing at the kids and ninken. "If you say so" Saya mumbled, still feeling slightly guilty.
"Hey Kakashi, mind telling us who they are" Pakkun asked from Rin's lap, letting her pet him. "Ah, yes, Saya, kids, these are my ninken, Pakkun, Bull, Urushi, Shibi, Bisuke, Akino, Uhei, and Guruko"
"And these would be Kira, Rin, Raiden, and their mom Saya" Kakashi said, pointing them all out.
"Nice to meet you" Saya smiled, pulling Rin off of Bull before she could succeed in strangling him. "Your kids huh?" Pakkun said, looking at the four of them, before nodding. "So I'm guessing they're gonna be staying with us?" Pakkun asked, looking at Kakashi.
He nodded, "yes they will, they'll be staying in the guest rooms" he said, causing the ninken to look at him in surprise. "Uh, Kakashi, you sure about that?" Shiba asked, sitting next to Raiden. Kakashi blinked, then remembering the mess that his guest rooms were in at the moment. "Ah, about that...how about you guys sleep in my room for tonight?" He asked Saya, making her frown slightly.
"Then what about you? Where will you sleep then?" He smiled, "I'll sleep right here, in the living room. Plus, I think those three deserve some good night sleep" he pointed out, looking at the three kids who were starting to fall asleep on the dogs. "I guess you're right, then if you don't mind.." She caved, seeing the adorable look on her baby's face. Saya picked up Kira, stopping her from falling face-first onto the floor. Kakashi picked Rin up, leading both Saya and Raiden down the hallway towards his room.
He looked down at the little girl in his arms, smiling slightly. 'She kinda reminds me of Rin in a way' he thought, memories of his old teammate, coming to mind. He chuckled softly, almost sadly, before blinking in shock when Rin cuddled into him, holding onto his shirt tightly.
They reached his room, Kakashi opening it slowly as to not wake up the two sleeping girls, letting Saya walk in and put Kira down on the bed, Raiden climbing in after. Kakashi set Rin down slowly, only to not be able to get back up. Saya chuckled softly, seeing the situation that he was in. "Seems that she got attached to you quickly" she said, seeing how Rin wasn't letting go of his shirt. Kakashi sighed, "sorry about this" he said, slowly trying to get her fingers to let him go.
Saya smiled, "best to not even try, once she get's a hold of you, there's no way she's letting go anytime soon" she said, pushing him towards the bed. He blinked, "wha-?"
"It's best you just go to sleep here with us, like I said, there is no way she's letting go anytime soon" Saya got in the bed under the covers as well, pulling Raiden towards him, making sure the three kids were in between both her and Kakashi.
"Ah" Kakashi shifted uncomfortably, still surprised with Saya's actions. "Mama..?" he tuned to look at the previously hyper girl, seeing her struggling to keep her eyes open. "Hmm?" Saya hummed, pulling her closer to her, keeping her arms around all three children. Next to her was Kira, then Rin, and then Raiden right next to Kakashi.
"Can you sing a song...?" the little girl asked, Kakashi saw her grab her sisters hand, who then grabbed her brothers hand.
Saya smiled before she started humming a little, before she started singing.

Kakashi was stunned. Her voice was soothing, bewitching. He listened to the song come to an end, and he was slightly surprised when his own eyes started drooping. He vaguely realized that his ninken has found their way into his room while she was singing, making themselves comfortable on the floor near the bed.
He tried staying awake, shaking his head slightly, only to start falling deeper when he felt a hand start petting his hair, making him start to relax more. His bleary eyes trailed to Saya, seeing her smile at him and giggle slightly.
Kakashi felt another hand, this one smaller, grab onto his own hand. He looked down and saw it was Raiden had his hand in his grip. He subconsciously snuggled more into the older man, feeling more warm.
Kakashi finally relaxed completely, letting sleep grab a hold of him and drag him deeper into the darkness. The last this he heard was the light snoring of the kids, and Saya's light voice.
"Welcome to the family, Kakashi"
