Raziel's POV

I watch as my adorable human yawns for the tenth time while drinking the vile, black liquid that he calls coffee. I don't know how he can drink that! It's so disgusting and bitter! I had to eat seventeen strawberries just to get rid of the taste! Or it might have been because I really like strawberries but coffee is awful!

Kai yawns again and takes another gulp of his coffee. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have kept you up so late," I tell him, dragging my chair closer to his and wrapping him in my embrace. I plant a kiss on his temple and Kai smiles into his mug so I kiss him again.

Of course he's tired! After taking him on a physically exhausting date, he met a demon and a hollow which had to be mentally exhausting. Not to mention I asked him about meeting with one of his bullies, and on top of that, we stayed up late talking. That was an intense day for a human, especially when he has school the next day.

"I'm sorry I bombarded you with so much yesterday! And I'm sorry that demon stayed after our date and that I left you alone while you were sleeping and you had to wake up and see a hollow," I apologize while pressing tender kisses to his temple and cheek every few seconds. "Holy heavens! And I'm sorry I gave you the ability to see the supernatural world without your permission! I can take it away if you'd like."

That must have been terrifying, especially for him to be able to see Zorander's threatening aura and feel the full extent of his terror. "I really haven't been good to you," I whisper. 

For the first time I'm starting to doubt whether me coming into Kai's life was a good thing. He was starting to make friends and he even had a suitor, that pesky human, Jax. Maybe a normal human life away from the supernatural is what he needs.

Kai puts down his mug and pivots so that he is facing me. He smiles sleepily at me. His eyes are half closed and his glossy pink lips are pulled up into a magnificent smile. His silky pink hair hangs down over his forehead and his head is tilted upwards in the cutest possible way. He's stunning.

My lips automatically curve up into a smile but it quickly fades. Kai has done so much for me while all I've done is bring chaos into his life and caused him to be sleep deprived. I even made him cry.

Kai gently places one of his hands on either side of my head and seductively brings his head closer to mine. My smile instantly returns and I close my eyes in anticipation of feeling his lush lips on mine.

"What-" My eyes flash open when instead of a kiss, I feel Kai vigorously shaking my head. "Kai! What are you doing?" I manage to get out, trying to stiffen my neck so that my head would stop shaking like the Spiderman bobblehead doll in Kai's car.

"I'm just shaking out those silky thoughts," Kai says in complete seriousness. He is still trying to shake my head, which is no longer budging as I have regained complete control over it.

I give Kai a quizzical look. "What are you talking about?"

"All the apologizing and the 'I really haven't been good to you' talk. It's all silly nonsense. I'm glad I can talk to you and ask questions about whatever I want. I was happy I got to meet Zorander and Lance, and I am psyched about being able to see the supernatural world!" Kai has a soft smile on his lips and he moves his hands from my face to interlock them with mine. "Sure my life has been a bit hectic since I met you, and I had a lot thrown at me over the last few days, but I wouldn't change a thing. I'm happy, happier than I have been in a long time."

A wide smile spreads across my face, and my heart feels like it's soaring through the skies at his words, but I want to be sure that I am what he wants. "Are you sure you wouldn't rather be with," I pause, trying to force the blood boiling name out of my mouth. "Jax?"

Kai immediately starts giggling. "Raz, are you jealous?" Kai chokes out through a fit of giggles.

"No! Why would I be jealous of a mere human?" I scowl at Kai, trying to mask the sinking feeling in my heart at the fact that he is laughing at me instead of saying that he doesn't want to date Jax.

"Maybe I would be better off with Jax," Kai says with the amusement clear in his eyes. I can tell he's teasing me but it still feels like he's wrenching my heart out and stomping all over it. I shift my gaze away from Kai, trying my hardest not to pout.

"No. I won't be better off with Jax because I want you." My eyes snap back to Kai and my heart flutters at his reassurance as an elated smile spreads across my face.

Kai has a mischievous glint in his eyes when he slowly leans towards me. "Besides," he whispers. He places his hands on my chest and the area is instantly pulsing with a warm, electric sensation. He slowly slides them up my chest, linking them behind my neck and I have to bite the inside of my cheek to contain the aroused groan threatening to break free.

What is he doing to me?

"You're the sexist." Kai leans closer; his eyes no longer showing any hint of tiredness. "Most affectionate." His lips brush, ever so lightly against mine. I lean forward, trying to capture his lips with mine but he pulls back a little. He moves his head to my ear and whispers, "Not yet, angel." All the self control in the world couldn't stop the guttural moan that escapes me and my eyes flutter close.

I hear Kai giggle before he tugs my ear lobe into his mouth, gently biting into the soft flesh. I release another moan and instinctively grope Kai's butt. The vibrations from his resounding moans send shivers down my spine. "No touching, angel," Kai purrs seductively, still sucking and tugging at my ear.

I move my hands back to my lap and squeeze them together to restrain myself. Kai moves on from my ear, grazing and sucking the skin on my neck. I tilt my head, giving him free access as my breathing comes quickly. Kai's breath fans across my neck as he mumbles, "You're also honest." I gulp as he sucks on my Adam's apple. Every flick of his tongue is driving me crazy and increasing my arousal.

"And kind to me." One of his hands slides down my chest, stopping just above my pants. The sensations from his touch and his raunchy whispering is too much. My hands are trembling with the need to touch him. I clutch the edge of the chair and groan as he flicks his tongue over my lips.

I open my eyes to see his sky blue eyes darkened with lust as he stares down at me. I whimper, willing him to let me taste his lips. Kai giggles again before briefly pressing his lips to mine causing me to let out a frustrated groan. "I couldn't be happier that you're my boyfriend," Kai whispers, biting my bottom lip. I moan but remain completely still. My human told me not to touch and I'm not sure if that applies to my lips touching his as well.

"You can touch now," Kai murmurs against my lips. No sooner are the words out of his mouth before I am groping his butt cheek with one hand and guiding him to sit on my lap. My other hand tangles in the back of his hair, pressing his mouth against mine. I can't wait to taste him and immediately shove my tongue through his parted lips.

My tiny moan at finally being able to claim his mouth after all his teasing is drowned out by Kai's loud moaning. I feel him melting against me, surrendering, giving me total control. My heart is beating erratically and my whole body is hyper aware of every tiny noise of content that Kai releases, every soft touch that his hands imprint on my body and every breath that he takes.

Our tongues swirl around each other, dancing and colliding in an endless loop.

Or so I thought. Kai releases one final moan and pulls away from me. I can't seem to get my breathing under control and it doesn't look like Kai is doing any better. I involuntarily bite my lip as I stare at his slightly swollen, reddened lips, urging him to continue our kiss.

He smiles and presses one more kiss to my lips before hopping off my lap. "Come on Raz, I have to go to school." I watch him saunter away and I just know that he is deliberately swaying his hips. I am proven right, when before he exits the dining room, he giggles and blows me a kiss over his shoulder.

I thought he never dated! How is he so good at flirting and teasing me!

I take a few moments to compose myself before I head out to the car where Kai is already sitting in the driver's seat. "I find it hard to believe that you've never dated."

"I haven't," Kai replies with a giggle before starting the car. "I was going on instinct. I just did what I felt like in the moment," he pauses and looks at me while batting his eyelashes and innocently asks, "Did you like it?"

My breathing hitches. Kai will be the death of me. I chuckle internally at that because, due to the bond, that statement is literally true. I smile at my beautiful human and I know there is no one else I would rather die for. "Yes, very much."

Kai giggles and takes his foot off the brakes and sets off to school. On our way to school I replay this morning's events in my mind. How did my Kai get so bold? How did he learn to give such sweet torture? I know that he's never really been shy but I still wasn't expecting him to have such a provocative side! I would love to see this side of him more often. The things I woul-

"Raz?" Kai says, pulling me from my fantasies of him. I hum a response and wait for him to continue. "I was going to ask you this morning at breakfast but I got... distracted." Kai giggles and peeks at me before refocusing on the road.

Has he always looked this good driving? I could just eat him up! For angels sake Raziel, focus! It's been at least a thousand years since I've been intimate with anyone and now Kai has definitely reawakened that part of me. I take a deep breath and quietly exhale. I know I have to restrain myself; Kai still doesn't know me that well and I will never rush him into anything. "What did you want to ask?" I reply, smiling at my human.

"Can you help Lance so that he doesn't become a hollow?" Kai asks mournfully.

I was right! I knew that they would get along. "He still has about three months until he fully transitions to a hollow, I'll try to figure out how to help before then. The only way that I know of is to sneak the hollow into heaven. But as you know, I am currently unable to get into heaven so I will try to find another way." I have to find another way because I know it will make my human happy.

Kai beams at me as we pull into the school parking lot. "Thank you, Raziel."
