Talia sprung up smiling, she went over to Ryker and sat on his lap giving him a hug "Thank you."

"I guess we can look at these later, just don't be disappearing on us, those guys are out there and they are waiting until nobody is watching to do something."

"I know." Says Talia.

Ryker got up and grabbed his keys "I'll drive."

They all got in his vehicle and left. "Where were you thinking about going?" Ryker asked.

"Just somewhere where we can dance." Andrea said leaning forward "You're the driver."

Ryker decided to go to a bar that was in another town, away from the clowns that had been a little too quiet lately. The girls sat in the back talking and giggling while Marcus and Ryker quietly talked about the case.

As they walked into the bar, Ryker stopped to look around making sure it was safe for the girls to do their thing. Not seeing anything suspicious they continued to walk in, they girls headed over to the jukebox and put money in while the guys headed over to the bar.

"I'm not so sure this is a good idea." Marcus said as he stood against the bar facing the girls.

"I know it isn't, but if she hadn't gone out with her I never would have heard the end of it."

"I hear ya.. I just have a bad feeling."

"We just have to keep our guard up--" Ryker says while getting interrupted by the bartender.

"Can I get you two anything?"

Ryker turned around and looked at Marcus before looking at the bartender "I'm good.. Marcus would you like anything?"

Marcus debated, he wasn't so sure he should have anything either "How about you get us a couple waters, we're just here to make sure our girls are having fun is all."

Ryker wasn't sure if he should order the girls anything, they never said anything before they headed for the jukebox, he also didn't think Talia should have a drink being that she wasn't feeling well a little bit ago.

They stood at the bar watching the girls dance, while also keeping an eye on the doors. Andrea and Talia headed up to the bar and sat down next to them.

"Are you girls done?" Ryker asked, hoping to get out of there.

"What? We just got here!" Andrea said surprised. "Besides I could use a drink, I'm a little parched." She waved the bartender over and ordered a couple drinks.

While they sat and drank their drinks, Andrea was asking about who they were looking for. Talia explained what he looked like now, but needed to figure out what he looked like when he was younger.

Andrea thought back to whenever she was over at her house trying to imagine who she would be talking about. "A friend of your dads?" She curiously asked.

Talia placed her straw in her mouth and took a sip "Yea." She says still sucking in a sip.

"Hmmm, I remember a guy you always hated I think his name was Ivan. And then there was another guy Elias that I remember always saying he had a daughter that was a couple years younger than us that he never got to see."

"Oh yes I sorta remember them, more their names than what they looked like. I remember Ivan being just weird, he always creeped me out for some reason. And Elias I haven't seen in a long time, I forgot about him. He was in the navy with my dad and was transferred to serve in another country."

Marcus gave Ryker a nudge when he saw a couple guys walk in looking around the place, Ryker looked at them and didn't like the looks of them. He leaned over to Talia "Don't turn around you two whatever you do."

Marcus and Ryker both walked over to stand behind the girls, shielding them from the two men. "Finish your drinks girls, we have to go." Marcus said just loud enough for the girls to hear over the music.

Ryker kept an eye on the two men, they walked around looking at everyone, when they guys had their backs to them Ryker and Marcus quickly pulled the ladies to hurry out the door. "Don't make it look obvious." Marcus said to the girls.

Ryker kept his eyes on the men as they were leaving, just as they hit the doorway the men turned around and looked at them "Let's go!" Ryker urged. They hurried over to the car and got in.

"They're coming!" Marcus yelled as Ryker drove away. "Stay down girls!"

Ryker and Marcus pulled their guns out, Marcus rolled his window down and hung out the window waiting for the guys to gain up on them. "Fuck! I knew it, I knew this was a bad idea!" Ryker yelled banging his gun on the steering wheel.

"They're gaining on us!" Marcus yelled out.

"Shoot at the fuckers! What the fuck are you waiting for?" Ryker yelled, while the girls stayed low screaming.

Marcus took a couple shots at the men following them, missing them. Ryker started to speed up when he saw the car move into the other lane coming up next to them, Ryker rolled his window down reaching his arm out and shooting at them.

The car moved back behind them, moving right up to the rear of the car, Marcus aimed again this time hitting their tire causing the car to flip.

Ryker slowed down a little looking in the rearview mirror, watching their headlights moving around as it rolled. Ryker then sped off hurrying to get home.

"Dammit, that was close! You're all staying at my place tonight, obviously we're being followed." Ryker snapped as he pulled into the garage shutting the door quickly. "No more going out until we get these guys." Ryker insisted. "Is that clear?"

"I'm sorry, this is all my fault." Andrea said quietly, feeling guilty about what had just happened.

They walked into the house and Talia started to shed some tears. Ryker walked up to her wrapping his arms around her "It's OK, we're all back here safe."

"I'm sorry, I should have listened." She said resting her head against him soaking his shirt up with tears.

"Main thing is that we made it back here alive."

Andrea walked over to the pictures that were still laying out and started looking at them, hoping that she could help who they are looking for. Marcus sat down next to her grabbing an album to look through.

Ryker made a couple phone calls while the others were looking through Talia's photos "Here's Ivan." Andrea said pointing to a picture "Is that who you're looking for?"

Marcus and Ryker both leaned over to look, both studying the picture "nope that's not him, but keep it out just incase." Ryker said while on the phone with Clint.

Talia grabbed the box and pulled a handful of pictures out, looking through each one and stopped when she came to one that made her heart drop. It was a picture of her dad with his arm around Elias, both smiling while on a ship. "Here's Elias.." she says handing Ryker the photo.

He pulled it closer to him and looked at all his features "It's him."

"Where are you going?" Talia asked as she opened her eyes.

Ryker sat down on the bed next to her "I'm going to take a trip over to see your dad and see what he can remember about Elias, I'll even show him a picture of that Ivan you two were talking about."

"I want to come with you." She says sitting up. "I don't want to stay here."

"Marcus said that he would stay behind and keep an eye on you and Andrea." He gave her a kiss before standing back up.

Pulling the sheets off of her she quickly stood up running in the front of him and stopping. "Please let me go with, I can visit with my mom and sister while the two of you talk."

"Fine, get ready quickly." He sighed as he walked around her.

Talia got ready while Ryker talked with Marcus explaining to him that Clint will be by later to go over the surveillance tapes. "I'm ready." Talia says as she walked up to them.

"Let's get this over with." Ryker grabbed the photos, made sure he had his gun on him and left.

Talia stared at the pictures while Ryker drove "I told you that I saw him from somewhere, and I was right it wasn't from my work." She said quietly. 

"Yes you were right. The thing is there's more to this than you realize. What I need to figure out is if your dad was involved in something and left that pissed them off or if it is something completely different."

"He wasn't involved in anything I'm pretty sure about that."

"You only hope."

Talia didn't like what he was insinuating but also felt that he could be right. "Well I hope he wasn't and is just being framed to look like he was."

Ryker thought about when he first started working for Mr. Porter, Ryker had only worked for the company for about a year before he came along. He remembered that not long after they started working together he had started sending Ryker to the coffee shop to pick up coffee's for everyone and that's when he first met Talia. "Oh my G--" Ryker began to say before shutting his mouth.

"What?"

Ryker pulled up to the place where her family was staying and shut off the car. "What was your little outburst back there?" Talia asked again.

"I remembered something." He said turning to her. "I unwillingly and unknowingly was giving my boss information about you."

"What do you mean?"

He sighed as he shook his head, pissed at himself for not thinking anything about it before. "When Mr. Porter or Elias whatever the fuck his name is first became my boss, he started sending me out to your work. He sent me there knowing that you worked there, I'm pretty sure about that. The more I think about it he had asked me questions that got me talking about you, I mentioned to him about you thanking him for sending me there, that I had met a gorgeous woman there. He urged me to go after you, it was then that I had gone in there one day and saw a man there talking to you, I had overheard the two of you talking and it was then I assumed was your boyfriend at the time. I had gotten a look at him but never really paid attention to what he had really looked like, I was just bummed that you were taken. When I saw the pictures of the two of you together at your place I thought he looked familiar but couldn't place it at the time. I know now that it was from that time, but that wasn't the first time that I had seen him. He used to come into the office and visit with Mr. Porter, that's why he had looked so familiar to me..... you're ex Dante... he works for my boss."

The hair on Talia's body started to stand up and felt herself getting sick again while she listened to what Ryker was telling her. "That just proves to me that Dante was only with me to feed information back to him, and that's probably where he got my pictures. It's all starting to make sense to me, he used me.... he broke it off with me when I brought up about us getting married and starting a family. The cheating he claimed he was doing, Andrea catching him with other women.. it was all a fucking set up thinking I would let him go."

"Well since everything is coming together and we're here to see your dad, lets go see what he has to say."
