Narrator's Pov

After sitting at Eunji's doorstep for hours, Jungkook finally realize that she is really gone.

She won't be coming back.

She won't get to listen to his explanation.

She won't get to hear what he want to say to her; those three words.

I love you...

Jungkook reluctantly stood up as he dragged his feet and head towards his house with a heavy heart.

"I'm home..." Jungkook lamently say after entering his house and locking the door.

"Oh Jungkook back already?" Jungkook father asked in surprise as he walked out from the kitchen but immediately halted his steps when he saw Jungkook.

His cheeks were stained with his dried tears and there weren't any soul found in his gaze. He look broken.

"Jungkook... Are you okay?" Jungkook's father ask worriedly after seeing Jungkook state as he quickly walk towards him.

"She's gone..." Jungkook mumble under his breath with his gaze looking dead as he dragged his feet to his bedroom, ignoring his father presence.

"What?" Jungkook's father furrowed his eyebrows and asked in confusion.

"She's gone..." Jungkook continued say as he place his hand on the door knob before turning it and opening the door for him to enter.

"Who's gone?" Jungkook's father asked once again and before he could enter Jungkook's bedroom with him, Jungkook close the door right in front of his face causing him to stumble a few steps back in shock.

"Yah Jungkook, what's wrong? What happen? Who's gone?!" Jungkook father shout behind the door as he knock the door concernly while his other hand try to turn the door knob.

It is locked.

Behind that door, Jungkook lazily threw his bag at one corner before walking towards his bed and plopping his body on it. His back resting against the bed frame.

Soon his hand start to make it's way to his pocket as he fished out his phone from his pocket and switching it on.

His phone brighten and his lockscreen photo immediately show up, catching his attention.

A photo of him closing his eyes and pecking Eunji's cheek with a smile while Eunji's cheek flushed red as she look at the camera with wide-eye.

It was the day where they were at the zoo; their second date.

The day that he confess his feelings.

Memories of how he met Eunji to the day he confess to her immediately rushes into his mind, causing tears to trickle down his cheek once again.

"I miss you Eunji... Are you really not coming back?" Jungkook sobbed as he continue to stare at the photo while he move his thumb towards Eunji's face before carassing her cheek.

It was lunch time now yet Jungkook was nowhere to be found. He was neither in class nor the rooftop.

"Aish... Where did he go again?" Bambam run his finger through his light brown hair in frustration once he realize Jungkook was not in the garden too.

"Do you think he skip school again and is at his home now?" Yugyeom asked Bambam.

"Shall we skip school too? Anyway our literature teacher is absent today." Bambam asked Yugyeom as he looked at Yugyeom, waiting for his reply.

After seeing how Jungkook react in class in the morning and knowing the fact that he and Eunji had broken up made them worried.

They never seen Jungkook that angry before. They know Jungkook need some support from his close people now and now they want to help him. Jungkook is their close friend, their brother and they will do anything to help him even if it is skipping class.

That's what brother and close friend do right?

"Okay. Let's take our bag and head to his house." Yugyeom nodded his head as they rush to their class to take their bags and head off to Jungkook's house.

After 15 minutes have passed, they finally reached Jungkook's house.

"Well let's hope Jungkook is in there." Bambam say before pressing the bell.

They nervously wait for Jungkook to open the door, hopping he's inside. However the door remained close.

"He's not the- "

The door suddenly open, cutting Yugyeom's sentence. Both of them turn their head towards the door to see Jungkook's father looking at them confused.

"Oh annyeonhaseyo!" Yugyeom and Bambam greeted as they flash a bright smile to him.

"Good afternoon! Are you guys perhaps Jungkook's friend?" Jungkook father asked with a warm smile plastered on his face.

"Yes we are! We are here to see Jungkook. Is he inside?" Yugyeom asked.

"Oh yes he's inside! Come in!" Jungkook father smile as he open the door wide for Bambam and Yugyeom to enter before closing the door.

"Do you guys know what happen to Jungkook?" Jungkook's father ask as he turn around to look at the two boys. Concern was written all over his face.

"He's been acting strange since this morning... First, he came home quite early, looking all dead and second, he immediately lock himself in his room while mumbling "she's gone" to himself. I thought he would come out from his room after some time but I was wrong! He still locked himself in his room and ignoring me. He haven't had his lunch yet..." Jungkook's father say, feeling worried for his son.

"Probably because he is heartbroken after breaking up with Eunji. Let Bambam and I talk to him, I'm sure everything is okay." Yugyeom assured Jungkook's father.

"Broken up with Eunji?! Why?! What happen?!" Jungkook's father asked as he eyes widen in surprise.

"We have no idea. We just heard from him this morning. Maybe we will know more after talking with him. Do you have the bedroom key?" Bambam asked.

"Yeah I have. Wait for a moment." Jungkook's father say as he walk towards his room and opening a drawer.

"Here you go." Jungkook father say after coming out from the bedroom and passing Bambam the key.

Bambam and Yugyeom walked towards Jungkook's door and knock on the door.

"Jungkook? It is me, Bambam. Yugyeom is here too!" Bambam say.

No response.

Bambam decided to open the door by inserting the key into the door knob and turning it. A click sound is produced. Bambam remove the key and turn the door knob as he slowly open the door.

The room was dark as the curtains was closed. It was quiet and the only sound they heard was the sniffing sound, coming from Jungkook who is sitting on his bed as he hugged his folded legs against his chest and his chin resting on his arm. He was staring blankly at the pink bracelet that is placed right in front of him.

Bambam, Yugyeom and Jungkook's father were both surprised and worried to see Jungkook in this state.

"Jungkook..." Yugyeom softly say as he approach Jungkook with Bambam following him behind.

Jungkook slowly turn his head to see Yugyeom looking at him worriedly.

"Y-Yugyeom... She's g-gone forever..." Jungkook's voice cracked in sadness.

"What do you mean she's gone forever? You can still see Eunji in school." Yugyeom asked in confusion as he sit at the edge of the bed and place his hand on Jungkook's arm that is wrapped around his folded legs.

"No I can't... She went to Australia... I tried calling her and texting her... But she's didn't reply... It is all my fault... My fault... Why am I so stupid!" Jungkook scolded himself as he clench his hand into a fist and start hitting his leg in anger.

Yugyeom's eyes widen in surprise as he quickly grabbed Jungkook's wrist to prevent him from hitting himself.

"Stop hitting yourself! What did you do? Why are you calling yourself stupid?" Yugyeom asked concernly as he continue to hold Jungkook's wrist.

"It was all started during the camp..." Jungkook trailed as he recalled the incident.

Flashback

After seeing Jimin carrying Eunji out from the forest and seeing both of them smiling and laughing brightly, I couldn't help but to think are they okay now?

Did Eunji forgive Jimin already?

Of course Eunji forgive Jimin already... If not why would she be smiling and hugging Jimin so tightly. Both of their face were only a few inches apart.

Did she know how worried I was?

Jealousy start to build inside me as I clench my fist. Without wasting much time, I decided to leave the scene. My eyes couldn't take it anymore at the sight of my girlfriend smiling so brightly at someone who happen to be her ex-boyfriend.

However once I turned my body around, my gaze immediately landed on Yena who was behind me with her arms crossed against her chest as she looked at me with a smirk plastered on her face.

"Leaving so soon? Don't you want to talk to Eunji? Oh ya... She busy talking with Jimin. Look at how happy she is. It looks like as if they are dating. Don't you think they look like a perfect couple?" She smirked.

"Shut up." I coldly snapped as I glared at her before walking to my left. Anger was starting to boil inside of me.

"Where are you going? The cafeteria is that way." Yena asked in confusion.

"I'm not hungry. I'm going to the lake instead. Dinner too so don't look for me." I coldy say with my back still facing against her before heading towards the lake.

I need some time alone...

When I finally reached the lake, I was greeted by the beautiful scenary: the lake was shinning brightly, the trees and grass were bright green and the breeze were calming as it lightly hit my face.

I took in a deep breath before exhaling it out as I plopped my body on the grass, facing towards the crystal clear lake.

Many thoughts were rushing to my mind.

What happen if Eunji start to fall for Jimin?

What happen if she found Jimin is way better than me?

What happen if she decided to leave me for him?

I quickly shook my head, shrugging the negative thoughts away.

Nonono.... Eunji like me not him.

I trust her....

Letting out a deep sigh, I let my body fall back as I lie on the grass.. My eyes automatically closes, feeling tired from all the thinking. Without realizing, I fall asleep.

"Jungkook? Wake up..."

Someone say as I felt someone shake my shoulder.

"Ugh... 10 more minutes Jagi... I'm tired..." I groan before turning to the other side with my head resting against my left arm as I continued to sleep.

"Jagi? It's been awhile you call me that."

My eyes shot wide open in alarmed as I quickly sit up straight and turn my head behind to see Yena sitting on the grass while smilling at me.

"What are you doing here?' I blurted in confusion.

The sky was already dark. Stars were already shinning brightly in the sky.

How long did I sleep?

"It was getting late and you were not in the camp so I came here to find you. You were hopping I was Eunji don't you?" Yena asked.

Hearing what she say, a frown slowly made its way to my face. Feeling disappointed that it was Yena who came looking for me instead of Eunji.

I stood up and dust the dirt away from my pants while Yena remained seated as she watched my actions.

"Why are you still sitting? Didn't you say its getting late? Lets go." I say as I looked down at her with no expression before heading back to the campsite, leaving her there.

"Yah! Jungkook wait for me!"

Silence start to form between us as we quietly walked towards the camp. My mind was still full of Eunji, disappointed that she is not here.

We were almost reaching the camp when suddenly Yena grabbed my arms, stopping me from walking as she turn her body around, facing me.

"Yah... Stop frowning. I know a way to cheer you up." She smiled.

Before I could process anything, Yena gently cupped my cheeks with her hand and lean in, giving me a kiss on my lips.

I froze in shock but why do I feel comfort? It feels like all my problem that were in my head disappeared.

I know what I am doing now is was wrong but why do I enjoy it? I questioned myself as my body betrayed me by standing still, letting Yena continue to kiss me.

When I finally snapped back to reality, I quickly push her away from me and wipe my lips with my hand as I shot her with my disgusted face.

"What do you think you are doing?!" I glared at her.

Yena simply shrugged her shoulder with a smile.

"Cheering you up that all." She smiled before turning her body around with her back faced against me as she head towards the camp, leaving me dumbfounded.

End of flashback

"Its my fault... I shouldn't have gone to the lake... If I didn't go to the lake, this wouldn't happen. Eunji wouldn't break up with me." Jungkook added after telling Yugyeom, Bambam and his father the whole thing.

He was hating himself.

"It's not your fault Jungkook... You needed comfort and love that time..." Yugyeom softly say as he comfort Jungkook.

"Ya Jungkook, its not your fault... Eunji will come back and you can explain to her. I bet she will trust you." Bambam say as he placed his hand on Jungkook's shoulder to comfort him.

"No she wont. She wont believe me. You guys don't understand my feelings." Jungkook shake his head with his gaze lowered.

"We do Jun-"

"No you guys don't! Now please leave! I want to be alone now!" Jungkook exclaimed as he pushed Yugyeom and Bambam away from him before pulling the blanket over him as he lie down.

"Jungkook..." Yugyeom blurted, feeling sad to see Jungkook acting like this.

"I think we should just give him some time alone..." Bambam softly say to Yugyeom as he placed his arm around Yugyeom's shoulder.

Yugyeom let out a sigh as they walked out of Jungkook's bedroom before closing the door.

"Sorry we fail to help Jungkook..." Yugyeom apologize to Jungkook's father as they stood infront of him.

"Its okay, you did your best. Lets just give Jungkook some time, maybe he will feel better after a few days." Jungkook assured Yugyeom and Bambam with a warm smile.

Yugyeom and Bambam both slightly nodded their head feeling disappointed and worried at the same time.

"Its getting late. I think you guys should head back home." Jungkook's father say as he open the door for them.

"Okay, we will get going now. We will visit him tomorrow again." Yugyeom say as they stood at the door steps.

Jungkook's father smiled in response, glad that Jungkook has some good friends before closing the door.

Two days have passed yet Jungkook show no sign of improving. He would always stay in his room, refusing to eat and talk. The only things he would always do is blankly stare at the photos of him and Eunji or the bracelet as he continuously blamed himself. He would also messaged and call Eunji many times but received zero replies from her. The only time he leave his room is only when he have to go to the bathroom.

These two days, Yugyeom and Bambam would always visit Jungkook and try to talk to him. However, they would always get no response from him.

Suddenly Jungkook's bedroom door open, revealing Jungkook. There were dark eyebag under his eyes due to the lack of sleep he have during these few days. His shirt was not probably tuck and his hair was not neatly comb.

"Oh! Jungkook, you going to school today?!" Jungkook's father ask in surprise to see a lifeless Jungkook wearing his school uniform with his his school bag.

Jungkook slightly nodded his head as he walk towards the door.

"Wait! At least bring a sandwich! You haven't been ea-"

"Eaten for three days..." Jungkook's father mumbled under his breath when Jungkook already left the house without waiting for him to finish his sentence.

When Jungkook finally reached his class, everyone was shocked to see Jungkook in this state, looking like a zombie.

Usually Jungkook is neatly groomed before coming to school but this time, he looks like a mess.

Jungkook ignored everyone gaze as his gaze naturally scanned around the class, hopping Eunji is here.

The real reason why Jungkook came to school is because deep down in his heart, there were some hope that Eunji didnt leave.

However, his heart sank when his gaze landed on Eunji's empty desk. He lowered his head in disappointment as he dragged his feet to his table, right behind Eunji's table. His plopped his body on his chair as he blankly stared at Eunji's desk.

"Jungkook you came?!" Bambam asked in shock as he walked towards him with Yugyeom behind him.

"Jungkook ah... Don't you think you should at least eat? You lose a lot of weight... I don't think Eunji will be happy if she sees you in this state." Yugyeom softly say however he earn no response from Jungkook who is still staring blankly at Eunji's desk.

What's the point if I became skinny or not? Eunji won't even want to see me... She hates me... Jungkook thought.

Soon the bell ring, Bambam and Yugyeom let out a sigh as they walk towards their seat, knowing that they will not earn any response from Jungkook.

For the entire three periods of lessons, Jungkook was blankly staring at Eunji's desk the whole time, not caring what the teachers are teaching.

The bell rang again, indicating it is lunch time now, Jungkook stood up, preparing to leave the classroom.

"Jungkook, where are you going?" Yugyeom asked Jungkook with his eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"Washroom." Jungkook simply replied as he head towards the washroom.

When Jungkook finally reached the washroom, he enter one of the cubicle and do his business.

However, just as Jungkook was about to leave the cubicle, couple of footsteps can be heard as the faucet is being turned on.

"Jimin, did you remember to postpone your tuition today?"

Oh it is Jimin...

"Of course I did! I don't want to disappoint Eunji." Jimin say.

Eunji?

Jungkook's eyes widen as he retreat his hand back from the lock once he heard Eunji name as he quickly pressed his head towards the door, hopping to hear what they are saying.

"Ya she will be mad if you didnt show up today."

Eunji didn't leave?!

Jungkook quickly opened the door, startling Taehyung and Jimin as they stared at him wided-eye.

"J-Jungkook? When did you get here?" Taehyung asked in shock.

"And what happen to you? Why do you looks so pale?" Jimin added as they both stared at him.

"What are your guys talking about just now? What do you mean she will be disappointed? Are you guys meeting her? Isn't she in Australia?" Jungkook bombarded them with questions as he looked at them, feeling confused.

Taehyung and Jimin soon become flustered. Their eyes were wide open and words were not coming out from their mouth. They didn't expect Jungkook will be in the washroom and listen to their conversation.

"Ah... You must have listen wrongly. How can we meet Eunji when she's in Australia." Taehyung nervously say as his lips slightly trembled.

"Erm, we got to go now. Bye~" Jimin quickly say as they quickly walk towards the door.

However just as they were about to leave, Jungkook quickly stretch out his arm, placing his hand against the basin, blocking their way.

"Are you guys hiding something from me? Is Eunji here? Please tell me... I want to talk to her... I miss her." Jungkook anxiously begged as a single drop of tear naturally trickle down his cheek.

Taehyung and Jimin froze in shock to see Jungkook crying. Both of them exchange glances as they have no idea what to do.

"Please... " Jungkook sobbed.

Eunji will kill us if we tell you... Taehyung thought as he looked at Jungkook in a state of dilemma. How he wish he could tell Jungkook the truth but he had already promised Eunji.

"Sorry Jungkook, but Eunji is really in Australia studying..." Taehyung softly say.

"Don't lie to me. Please, I want to meet her... I begging you." Jungkook desperately say as he kneeled down and look at them with his pleading eyes. Desperate is clearly shown in his gaze.

Taehyung and Jimin immediately became flustered and shock seeing Jungkook kneeling down as they quickly try to pull him up but Jungkook refuses.

"Jungkook stand up." Jimin say as he continue to pull his body up.

"Not until you guys tell me where is Eunji." Jungkook stubbornly say.

Letting out a sigh, Taehyung know Jungkook will not stand up until he hear the truth.

"Fine, I will tell you. So stand up." Taehyung blurted, earning both attention from Jimin and Jungkook.

Jungkook's eyes immediately sparkle as he stood up with a smile.

"Thank you!"

"What?! Taehyung, you can't tell him!" Jimin half whisper half yelled.

"He needs to know the truth." Taehyung say to Jimin.

Eunji didn't leave. She's been staying at her aunt house these few days. We are going to meet her at the cafe near her aunt's house at 4pm today.

Taehyung's words kept lingering around Jungkook's head as he stand in front the mirror and nervously button his white shirt.

I'm finally going to meet Eunji... Jungkook thought as his lips immediately curled up into a smile.

Taehyung and Jimin decided to give in and decided to help Jungkook by letting him go and meet Eunji instead.

But what happen if she doesn't want to see me?

What happen if she still hates me...

Jungkook nervously think. Even though Jungkook was worried, deep down in his heart, he was still glad that Eunji didn't leave.

Eunji's Pov

"Ugh, they are late again..." I mumbled under my breath as I looked at my watch, showing that it is 4.10pm now before averting my gaze and look at the door to see whether they are here already.

"I guess I will just order some drinks first." I simply say as I turn my head to my right and reaching for the menu.

As I was looking at the drinks, the bells at the door chime, indicating someone just entered and the chair in front of me was pulled away from the table.

Finally they are here.

"Do you know how late you guys were?" I say with my gaze still glued to the menu.

Silence yet I could feel someone piercing gaze on me, burning holes on the menu.

Feeling confused, I decided to look up from the menu.

"Why are you guys no-"

I was interrupted once my gaze landed on the figure that is sitting right in front of me. My eyes immediately widen in shock to see the person that I least expected sitting in front of me. My mouth gape open as words were stuck in my throat.

"J-Jungkook?" I stuttered in shock as I stared at him, couldn't believe that the person that I had been avoiding these few days is here, sitting right in front of me.

First it was his messages and calls, making me hard to move on and now when I'm was about to forget everything about him, he show up right in front of me... But looking pale...

"E-rm... Hi Eunji..." Jungkook nervously greeted me with a smile as he fiddled around with his fingers.

"T-Taehyung and Jimin told me everything about it... " He trailed as he shift his gaze on his fingers.

Without letting him continue, I quickly stood up, wishing to leave this place right now. Jungkook's head immediately snapped towards me, looking confused with his eyebrow furrowed.

Just as I was about to walk away from the table, Jungkook quickly grabbed my wrist, holding me back from leaving.

"Eunji wait!" Jungkook quickly say as he stood up, standing behind me.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry for everything and letting Yena kissed me..." Jungkook mumbled the last part but I managed to hear it.

Scene of Jungkook kissing Yena at the lake once again rush through my mind, causing my eyes to water. I quickly shook my head to get the scene out from my head.

"You don't have to apologize... It's not your fault." I softly say as I yank my hand away from his grip before dashing out from the cafe.

"Eunji wait!" Jungkook exclaimed as he chase after me.

Once I was out from the cafe, my head quickly turn left and right to look out for any cars. However, just as I was about to cross the road, Jungkook once again caught me as he grabbed both of my shoulder and turned me around.

Our eyes immediately meet.

"Eunji, don't leave. Please give me a chance to explain. You got it all wrong." Jungkook desperately say as the grip on my shoulder tighten.

"You don't have to explain, you already mention in your texts." I coldly say.

"You do? Then why are you still ignoring me?!" Jungkook asked in confusion.

It's because I don't want to get hurt again... I'm scared...

"Why should I see you when we are already over?" I blurted as I bit my lower lips. Tears were threatening to fall.

"Just move on Jungkook... Forget about me..." I coldly say as I push both of his arms away before turning around and running across the road, ignoring him who is shouting my name.

"Eunji!"

BAMM!

A loud crash echoed the surrounding, breaking the silence. My heart momentarily stopped beating as I halt my steps.

No... It's can't be... I silently prayed.

My fingers become cold while I continue to wait for him to grab my wrist or shoulder, stopping me from leaving.

However, no one reached out for me. Soon, my heart start to pump rapidly as I reluctantly turned my body around with my lips trembled in fear and my gaze immediately landed on a crowded of people gathering around and looking at something.

My gaze slowly drift towards the ground to see someone lying on the road while a puddle of blood is oozing out from his head.

"I-It can b-be him..." I stuttered anxiously as I slowly walked towards the group of people.

I started to make my way through the group of people with an anxious heart.

Once I finally make it to the front for a clearer view, my eyes immediately widen in shock as I could hear my heart shattering into pieces.

Jungkook was lying lifelessly on the ground with his eyes shut close. Blood were everywhere.

"JUNGKOOK!" I exclaimed in terror as I run towards him and kneeling down before gently placing his head on my lap.

"Someone call the ambulance!" I burst into tears as I looked up at the group of people helplessly before moving my attention back to Jungkook.

"Jungkook! Don't die!" I sobbed as I gently hit his cheek, hopping he would wake up.

Soon Jungkook's eyes slowly flutter open to met with my watery eyes. Tears were already flowing down my cheeks uncontrollably.

"Y-You... came b-back..." Jungkook softly say as he let out a weak smile.

I nodded my head rapidly with a weak smile while I bite my lips in guilt.

"I'm sorry Jungkook... I didn't mean to let this happen..." I sobbed as my thumb caressed his forehead.

My white shirt and hand was already stained with Jungkook's blood but I didn't care. I want him to be fine now.

"Silly, its not your fault... Don't cry..." Jungkook smile as he slowly raised his bloody hand to my cheek before wiping my tears away with his thumb, causing my cheek to stain with his blood.

"E-Eunji... I-I got something to tell you." Jungkook weakly say as he started to cough out some blood.

"Y-You don't have to say now! Just safe your breath and wait for the ambulance to arrive." I frantically exclaimed as I quickly wipe the blood from his lips.

Jungkook you can't die! I anxiously thought as I watched how Jungkook is struggling in pain.

Jungkook weakly shake his head and continue to speak.

"I-I have... t-too..." He let out a smile.

Even though he is trying to hide from me, I can still see he is in a huge pain.

"I-I love you... Eunji. N-Not Yena but you..." Jungkook say, causing more tears to flow down my cheek.

"I-I hope y-you will forgive me..."

"I forgi- ... JUNGKOOK!" I exclaimed in fear as Jungkook's smile start to fade away and his eyes were slowly closing.

"JUNGKOOK! DON'T YOU DARE TO CLOSE YOUR EYES!" I shout as I shake his body rapidly while hitting his cheeks.

Jungkook's eyes soon closed and his hand that were on my hand soon fell to his side.

"JUNGKOOK!" I exclaimed as I hugged his cold lifeless body tight, bringing his head against to my chest which caused his blood to stain my white shirt even more.

"I forgive you Jungkook..." I sobbed.

Don't leave me....

Hey guys, sorry for the late update. These few days I was busy thinking of what course and school I want to go after collecting my result. I hope you like this chapter 💕 This chapter is the longest chapter I had ever written in this book (4980 words). Anyway, I can't believe one more chapter and this book will officially come to an end.
