"Let's break up"

Jimin said as he look straight into my eye without any expression. I felt my heart had just shattered into many pieces.

"Wh-what d-did you say?" I stuttered as I ask Jimin to repeat his word again, trying to believe what he say was a joke.

"I say let's break up" Jimin repeated as he stared at me with a pair of cold eye.

Soon my vision start to blur because of my tears. It felt as if my heart was stabbed by a knife numerous time.

"Why..." is all I can say after I had done processing his words.

"It is because I don't think we will have time for each other since both of us are busy with our school works. So instead I think we should break up, it is best for both of us" Jimin replied without any expression on his face.

How can he say that sentences so easy? For the past 3 years did he truly like me? Did he even think of my feeling?

Tears started to roll down my cheek. After a few seconds of consideration and realizing that no matter how much I say, Jimin will not change his mind, I hesitantly nodded my head and say

"Ok...let's...br-break u-up... "

More tears started to roll down my cheek after saying that 3 words.

After Jimin heard that I agreed to break up, he patted my shoulder and take one last look at me before walking away. When I heard the door closed, indicating Jimin have left, I immediately fall to the ground and started to cry out loudly.

Why must he do this today? What type of surprise is this? I don't want him to leave me... I want him to be my side forever... I started to cry even more.

"Eunji? Is that you?"

Suddenly someone called my name. I looked at the direction of the voice coming from and I saw Jungkook at the door with a surprised face on.

"Ju-Jungkook... "

I called his name out trying to act like I did not cry. As much as I tried to hold it in, pain start to came out like an uproar from my throat. Beads of water started falling down one after another, without a sign of stopping.

The pain is too painful for me to take it...

"Yah... Eunji! What happened? Why are you crying?" Jungkook question me, shocked to see me in this state. He quickly walk towards me and kneel down. He gently place both of his hand on my shoulder and look into my eye with a worried face.

"Ji-Jimin he... bro-"

Before I could even finish my sentence, Jungkook immediately hugged me tightly.

"Just cry out all you want...Don't keep all the pain in your heart, it will only hurt you more. Let it all out..." Jungkook said as he gently pat my back.

Immediately, I hugged him and buried my face at his chest, crying out loud. For once, his words comforts me, his scent makes me feel comfortable and he is right... It is really painful to keep it all in my heart...

After crying for some time, my tears started to dry and my eyes felt like it is swollen. When I have finally calmed down, I slowly move away from Jungkook's chest and I could see there are wet stain at his uniform because of my tears. I looked down and looked at my finger while muttering "thanks and sorry for drenching your uniform... ", audible enough for Jungkook to hear.

"Erm... It's okay. Are you feeling better?" Jungkook awkwardly asked as he rubbed back of his neck.

"Ya... " I replied back.

Soon, there is an awkward silence surrounding us. In order to break the awkward silence, I say "Erm... You should go home, it's getting late and I will be fine" I give him my reassuring smile, even though I still haven't get over with the break up.

Jungkook slowly nodded his head while standing up. As he is about to leave the rooftop, he suddenly stopped right in front of the door. I raised one of my eyebrow while staring at his back, wondering why is he not moving. After a few seconds of staring his back, Jungkook suddenly sighed before turning back to look at me and say " Go and take your bag and meet me at the school gate. I will bring you home today. " with that Jungkook immediately turn away and leave the rooftop, without letting me to reject his offer.

I let out a big sigh before standing up to clean the dust off my skirt and adjusting my uniform and start to walk to class since I do not want him to wait for so long.

I decided to go to the washroom to wash my face after collecting my bag. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I was shocked to see myself in this state. My eyes were red and puffy. My nose was a bit pinkish. I can't believe I will become like this just because of the 3 words. Tears started to roll down my cheek after recalling the incident. I quickly wipe of my tears and went out of the washroom to meet Jungkook.

When I finally arrived at the school gate, I could see Jungkook already at there waiting for me while playing his phone. Taking a deep breath, I walk towards Jungkook, feeling a bit nervous since this is my first time going home with him and this is also quite unexpected from him since both of us are always in a bad term.

"Oh, you're here. Okay, let's go." Jungkook started to walk out of the school gate while I just stood there without moving, knowing that he had forgotten one thing. Jungkook noticed that I did not move, he stopped and turn back feeling confused why am I not moving. Seeing how confused he is, I decided to give him a clue.

"Erm... Do you know where you are going?" I questioned him.

After a few seconds have passed, Jungkook finally realized that he have forgotten to ask where do I live.

"Oh! Where do you live?" Jungkook asked me while rubbing his neck with a sheepish smile, feeling embarrassed that he had forgotten to ask me this important question. I laughed at his forgetfulness and started to head off without him.

"Yah! Wait for me!"

Jungkook finally caught up with me and start to walk beside me. Silent started to surround us but this is not a awkward silence. Somehow this is quite comforting.

"So... You live around here?" Jungkook asked, breaking the silence.

"Yup. Is your house quite far from here? If yes,you don't have to waste your time bringing me home" I asked him, suddenly feeling bad towards him since he is wasting his time to bring me home.

"Oh, don't worry. My house is quite near from your house and beside I already said that I will bring you home. Don't need to blame yourself" Jungkook smiled at me.

This is my first time seeing Jungkook smiling at me. This time is no longer the rude and cold Jungkook, but a caring and sweet Jungkook, with a beautiful smile.

I wish he will forever continue being sweet to me instead of bullying me.

"Earth to Eunji? I know that I am really attractive but you don't have stare at me like that." Jungkook said to me while smirking.

Shit... The old Jungkook is back again... I might be staring at his face too long... But to be honest, I must admit he is quite handsome and guess what? He finally got my name right!

"Who says I am staring at you because of your looks? I am just shocked to see that you are quite caring and finally you got my name right. Lastly, my boyfr-" I quickly ended my sentences after remembering that I am no longer Jimin's girlfriend. Luckily Jungkook did not manage to hear the last part.

"Me? Caring? Ha! That is the funniest thing I ever heard. Looks like you do not know me well, if that the case, I should continue play with you so that you will know me well. The reason why I am taking good care of you is because I can continue to mess with you and beside I should know your name since you are my toy. So, don't immediately come to conclusion that I am caring. The word caring does not even exist in my dictionary" Jungkook laughed and soon he show me a evil smirked. I swallowed my saliva while staring at his eyes.

Not that smirk again... But what he said is it true? Is it all just a act? But I can see hurt in his eye. Did something bad happen to him that he became like this?

"Anyway, why are you bringing me home? Shouldn't you be bringing your girlfriend back home? Wont she be jealous?" I asked, worried that Yena might do something bad to me after founding out that I'm going home with her boyfriend. Suddenly, I noticed Jungkook expression changed.

Did something happen between the two of them?

"She broke up with me" Jungkook suddenly say. I noticed tears start to form in his eyes and I could also notice there are some hatred in his eyes.

"Why?", feeling curious why would Yena would break up with him since Jungkook always treat her very good.

I mean why would she even break up with Jungkook when he is the school kingka. Even if he is also known as the bully and everyone fear him, he is still a smart student. Every exam, Jungkook will always be the top student. So why would Yena want to break up with him when he is somehow quite perfect, except for his attitude.

"You will know soon" Jungkook calmly answer. I looked at him with a confused face but the looks on his face shows that he is not planning to explain to me. Hence, all I can do is to wait for the day to come.

After 20 minutes of walking, we have finally reached my house. "Go in and sleep early so that your eye won't swollen anymore." Jungkook instructed me.

Both of us said goodbye to each other and Jungkook start to head back home while I went to open my door. Just as I about to open the door, I slowly turned back and shouted Jungkook's name. Jungkook turned back and looked at me with a confuse face. I smiled and say "Thanks for everything today! " Jungkook slightly smiled and waved goodbye to me before heading back home. I watched how his back slowly disappeared from my sight.

"I'm home!" I shout as I enter my house. I removed my shoe and place it on the shoe rack.

"Oh Eunji! Why are you late? Omg! Eunji what happened?! Did you cry?! Why are your eye swollen?!" Eunsoo unnie asked me after noticing my eyes are red and swollen.

"Unnie... I got something to tell you" I said. I decided that I should tell Eunsoo Unnie what happened today. Maybe she could give me some advice.

"Okay let's go to the living room and talk about it" Eunsoo Unnie said, sensing that something bad had happen.

After both of us took a seat at the sofa, I start to begin "Ji-Jimin...he broke up with me..." tears started to roll down my cheeks once I say Jimin name.

I really miss him...

"He says that we won't have time for each other since we will be busy with our school works..."

Even though I think that this is quite a lame reason but I still respect him. I started to cry out loud again, unable to control my tears.

Jimin is my first love and I really love him. That's why I do not want to lose him...

"You know there is one way for him to come back to you... " suddenly Eunsoo Unnie say to me while patting my back.

After I have done my homework and took a quick bath, I went to my bed and stare at the white ceiling, recalling what Eunsoo Unnie said to me.

Flashback

"You know there is one way for him to come back to you... " suddenly Eunsoo Unnie said to me.

"How? " I asked, getting curious what is that one way which can make Jimin come back to me.

"You really do love Jimin do you?" Eunsoo Unnie asked. I nodded my head eagerly.

"Well... For you to make him come back to you is to make him jealous by having a fake boyfriend. If he really do love you, he will surely be jealous and soon he will be coming back to you to ask you to be his girlfriend again." Eunsoo Unnie said.

"Have a fake boyfriend?"

"Yes"

End of flashback

I stared at the white ceiling while many thoughts are rushing in my mind.

Will this idea work? Who will be my fake boyfriend? Should I do it? Is this even a good thing? Or should I just give up on Jimin?

Setting the thoughts aside, I closed my eyes. Before I knew it, I already fall asleep.
