Liiza's POV 

"You sure? I mean..... I don't think you should" Rilee complains.

"Oh come on... Chill out, Riles. Nothings gonna happen. Just think of it as a friendly date" I try to convince her.

Apparently, I just told Rilee about the date and she denied.

She hates the idea but too bad, I'll be leaving with Andree in just like 15 minutes.

I'm wearing my white shirt with blue jeans, a blue scarf and brown knee length boots, and took my blue bag.

The jacket part will be his job.

I'm sure you might have figured it out that I love scarfs.

I always wear it unless its too hot outside or it doesn't fit with my dressing.

"A friendly date? Really Liz, a friendly date. Liz Zach, Jack and Corbyn are going...." She doesn't get to complete the sentence cause someone knocked the door and I immediately said

"Bye Riles. Talk to you later"

Then end the call.

I ran to the door and saw Andree. He is looking hot as always with his ocean blue eyes and spiked hair.

He wore a black shirt, blue jeans, and black jacket. He looks like a typical bad boy.

"Done checking me out?" He asks and smirked. The evil smirk.

I could feel my face starting to heat but tried to stop it by smirking back.

"You wish" I replied.

"Ready?" He asks

I nodded and whooped my hands around his arm and we made our way out.

I let him open the door for me then got in the car.

Who knew that Andree Watterson could be such a gentleman. He jogged the other side and got in the car then started the car and drove out the driveway.

"So where do you wanna go?" He asks.

Are you kidding me right now?

You said you're gonna take me out and you don't even know where to go.

"Look I know I said I'll take you out but...... I'm not sure of your favorite places and other things so help me out" He explains.

"K well, we could go to umm...... Bulls n Barrels I like that cafe" I said.

"Bulls n Barrels it is" He declared, making me chuckle.

I actually feel bad for not ending my convo with Rilee properly. I have never done that, and the worst part is that she was telling me something about the boys.

It was a really short ride to the cafe. I let Andree open the door for me to get out.

I'm feeling myself right now.

I whooped my hands around his arms once again and we walk into the cafe.

We entered and I took us to the spot.

The spot which no one else sits on. The spot which has mine, Rilee's and Zach's name.

In fact, even the owner does not let anyone sit there but us. It's our bay window.

We have been coming here since we were young and she's familiar with us.

We never bring anyone here. I don't know why I brought him to sit here but. I guess any of them was in my place, they'll do the same thing.

"Wow. You got your names on the table" He says.

"Yeah. We come here a lot since we were 8" I replied then continue "No one is allowed to sit here except for me, Rilee and Zach. It's our spot" I said and smiled at the taught of the memories.

"No. No one can sit here. It's our spot" Zach shouts.

"Yeah, we decorated it ourselves," I said.

Its already been 5 minutes. We've been arguing with the owner, Mrs. Roundy.

Mrs. Roundy is a really nice woman. She loves us like her kids. She's in her mid-50s. I don't think she's got enough power to argue with 8year olds.

Mrs. Roundy sighs in defeat and finally agrees. "The spot will be only yours. It's a gift from me for being my best customers" she says and we all cheer.

"Must have been an awesome memory huh?" he asks and I nodded.

"Hey, Liiza! And who is this young man?" Mrs. Roundy asks.

"Hey, aunt Roundy" I stood up and kisses her on the cheek. "This is Andree. Andree this is Mrs. Roundy" I introduce them.

"Hello" Andree mutters.

"Hey. Well, he must be really Special to you cause you have never brought anyone here" she chuckles making me blush.

"So what would you like young man?" She asks him.

"I'm not familiar with the place so anything she wants, I'll take that too" He replies.

"Well then," She says and walks away.

Mrs. Roundy already knows my daily order. She doesn't really ask me anymore. Every time I come, Its always ready.

I sat back down and looked at him. "So... Tell me about your family," I say and his expression turns sore "I'm sorry if I said anything wrong," I said awkwardly.

"No" he waves his hands "My mom is a doctor, my dad left my mom for someone else since I was 11 but I'm over that now" he forced a smile "and am an only child" He finishes then glances at me.

He seems hurt and I hate myself for that. I shouldn't have asked him that.

"Now you tell me about yours," he says.

"Right..... My parents are both Architects. I have a twin brother Lucas who is now in boarding school...."

"You do!" He seems surprised and I nodded.

But who would blame him? I never speak about Lucas.

Our orders came. As usual, I always have hot chocolate.

"So we're just gonna call this a coffee date" he chuckles

"Hahaha I know right" I giggled.

We have talked for about an hour now.

Andree is actually an awesome guy. Spending time and getting to know him better made us closer. We've become friends now.

He told me a lot about his family, friends and his life.

Turns out that Andree was never a player. He respects girls. He used to be one of the best students.

But there was this girl Ariel. I know her, she's always been my competition in grade 7. I never even liked her.

She broke his heart.

If I never mention, Andree used to be my crush. I admired him from afar but I never let him know.

Ariel knew I liked him which is why she challenged me of who gets him first. I knew she didn't like him.

She just hated my guts. I gave up the very first day because I knew, I would never win.

Ariel is blonde and beautiful. She has green and kinda chubby though but it fits her. Curly hair, Perfectly shaped eyebrows, and long eyelashes.

She cheated on Andree but he loved her. He never wanted to let her go.

I wonder how he must have felt when he saw her kissing someone in the boy's washroom.

"Hey, I got a pickup like for you," He says

I chuckled "Go ahead," I asked.

"Hey Girl, are you Google? Cause you have everything I'm searching for" He winked.

I stare at him for a while then burst out laughing. The way he said it was so... I don't know.

"What?" he asks not able to hold his laughter too.

"That was so" I manage to say in between my laughter.

"Cringy" he complete and I nod, still laughing.

After a few while of laughing and my sides paining, I finally stop and look at Andree.

We looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds then started going closer and closer. His eye drifted to my lip.

Is he going to kiss me?

His lips are just a meter away from mine when a familiar call my name.

I instantly turned around and saw Zach, Corbyn, and Jack.

I looked into Zach's eyes, he looks hurt. He seems like his whole world was crushed in a second.

He seems heartbroken. His face is all pale. The color drained out of it.

Jack and Corbyn looked disappointed.

I can't believe what I was just about to do. How could I...... Rilee was right. I should have listened to her.

Zach didn't spend even a single second. He rushed out of the cafe and Corbyn followed him.

"How could you try to kiss someone else when you're dating such an amazing guy" Jack looked disgusted and stormed out of the cafe.

People were staring.

"You're dating someone?" Andree asked.

"Look I can explai-" I started but he didn't let me finish.

"I should have thought. You are just like every other girl. A cheater " He snaps and stormed out of the cafe too.

I stood there frozen. I couldn't move. No tears, nothing. I just kept staring at the door. I saw both the cars speed off.

"Honey, You OK?" Mrs. Roundy asks and hugged me.

That's all I needed. The moment she hugged me, I started crying. I couldn't hold back my tears. I lost my best friend and my new friends. They all think I'm a slut.

Mrs. Roundy had to leave cause some customers needed to order.

I cried and cried and cried till I got a phone call.

"Liiza t-they met w- with an accident," the caller said.
