The red tatoo that Simon has on his right eye, wasn't there when he was born. He got it when he was 15.

He didn't do it on purpose. He did it when he got drunk with Gale, Storm, Blake and even Nelson (Elfman and Evergreen's son), which they rarely see now.

Gale was the one who drew it for him.
