[Kristoff's POV]

*1 month later...March 25, Prom Day*

Welp, it's a plan. Since Anna can't join the prom yet, I decided to escort Elsa to the entrance and then Anna and I will have a movie night after. "Kris, this is your first and maybe last prom...you sure you're not going?"

"I better miss a prom than miss Anna." I said and looked at her lovingly while the boys wolf whistled.

"Kris." Elsa warns me and I smiled at her innocently. "Yeah, yeah."

We're all having lunch at a fast food right now but after this, we'll get ready...the program starts at 4:30pm and we all must be there. The actual prom starts on 5.

"So, what's the color of the dress that you're going to wear?" Eugene asked Rapunzel before eating a forkful of spaghetti.

"Purple." She replied and smiled.

"Great! I'll get a purple tie then." Eugene said excitedly and we all grinned at him.

"Dude, you're way cheesier than this spaghetti." Elsa giggled and Anna giggled with her.

"Ugh, chick-flick moments." Merida rolled her eyes while Hiccup playfully hit her shoulder.

I smiled at them while they continued talking about the prom or what will happen later. I decided to check on my phone and send Jack a message.

To Jack:

So, you ready?

One minute later, I received his reply.

From Jack:

Yeah.

I just shrugged and returned my phone to my pocket. You see, Jack and I had a plan for the prom this evening. I'll make a poor excuse that I'm on traffic or something, saying I'll be late for the grand entrance. So that I won't have to escort Elsa...but Jack will. Genius idea, right? No, it's not mine anyway.

"Yoohoo! Krissy!" Hiccup snapped his finger at my face and I snapped out of my thoughts. "What planet did you land on?"

"Pluto." Anna snorted and they all laughed.

"Ha-ha." I laughed sarcastically.

[Elsa's POV]

*Time check: 3:02pm*

I bid goodbye to Anna who just waved at me, not taking her eyes away from the television. She was just wearing her pajamas and her lap was a bucket of popcorn. I just smiled and shook my head, knowing that she's probably watching Shadowhunters (I don't watch that show bc it's not Lilly Collins lol, I'll probably start watching that this summer...or idk, I should shut up now)

"Your highness." Hans bowed politely before grinning at me, I snorted and rolled my eyes playfully as he opens the door of our car and gestured me to go inside.

"Why, thank you, Mr. Westerguard." I replied with regal poise and he chuckled before getting in the drivers' seat. He started the ignition and then we left the house.

*3:20pm*

"Kristoff! Where are you?" I groaned and paced outside the school hall, it's only ten minutes till entrance time and he's still not here.

[Kristoff's POV]

"Elsa, I don't know if I can make it there, it's really traffic." I winked at Anna who was holding back her laughter, she played a honking horns sound effect from her phone to make it more convincing.

Elsa groaned. "Kristoff! If you're not gonna make it, then who will be my escort?"

"Uhh...I dunno, maybe you could do an epic solo entrance?" I smiled nervously.

"KRISTOFF!"

"Okay, okay! I'll do my best to make it, hurry up, Garry!" I hit their couch, pretending to be annoyed.

"You better make it or so help me!"

"Yeah, yeah!" I said. "I gotta go." And then I hang up the phone.

Anna finally burst out laughing and I laughed silently with her. "I wonder what she'll be like right now, oh my gosh! I bet she's raging with fire in her back!"

"Naw, she's wearing an ice-like dress, I bet ice spikes are everywhere in their school right now." I deadpanned and she laughed even louder.

"Oh my gosh, Kristoff!"

[Elsa's POV]

"Elsa, the program starts in one minute, where's Kristoff?" Merida asked worriedly and I looked at the entrance gate of the school in case I see any sign of him, but then there's no Kristoff everywhere.

"Friggin' traffic." I mumbled angrily and Punzie put a hand on my back.

"Who'll escort you?" She asked.

I sighed. "This is really embarrassing."

"Guys? What's going on here?" I froze on my spot when I heard his voice behind me.

"Her escort's not yet here." Hiccup said and I looked at him blankly. "Do you have someone with?"

"Actually, I'm...looking for someone." He said and I raised an eyebrow at him.

Punzie then clapped her hand once. "Well, in that case, Kristoff is not coming any minute, and Jack here doesn't have someone to take with...how about you two pair up, eh?"

"WHAT?!" I yelled! "NO!"

"Students! Positions! The entrance march is about to start!" One of the teachers' said and I sighed. Punzie-Eugene and Merida-Hiccup are already in their lines. Jack and I looked at each other.

"So..." He started.

"What?"

"You two!" We both jumped when we heard the teacher yelled. "On the line, now!" Jack and I glanced at each other before we went on the line, between our friends.

"Elsa," He started again but I cut him off.

"It's fine, Jack." I said and smiled reassuringly. "It's only for today."

[Jack's POV]

It's only for today.

Ouch.

But seeing her smile brightened up my day and I didn't notice that I was already grinning at her. "What?" She frowned.

"You're smiling." I said.

"Ugh, so what if I am?" She rolled her eyes and my grin turned to a wide smile. I offered my arms to her. She looked at it in surprise before she hesitantly put her hand on my arms, then we started marching.

Violin music then ringed through my ears as we entered the great hall, it was elegant, like a royal ball of classic movies. "Wow, this is nice." I said and Elsa just nodded.

We proceeded to the table that has a reservation name "8finity" on it. "What's 8finity?" I asked.

"It's us, 4 Seasons plus you Big 4." She answered and I nodded. She let go of my arm and I felt the lost of warmth on it, I pulled a chair for her but she sat on a different chair. Okay, that was awkward. I decided to sit on the chair that I pulled. Hiccup and Eugene glanced at each other before looking at me apologetically and I just shrugged at them.

The program started and once again, our principal gave the welcoming address. Then the students from the dance club performed the welcoming dance number and all that.

The 4 Season's latest cover was playing on the background while we were eating dinner, it was 6:30 and then on 7, we can all dance like there's no tomorrow. (Jack, don't say that) The girls were talking about gowns and betting who will be the prom queen while we, the boys were just looking at them quietly. "So, who do you think will be the prom queen?" Eugene's elbow hit my stomach and I yelp. "Sorry."

"It's fine." I replied. "Not really sure but I think it's between the three of them, so far I've never seen a gown like theirs here." (they dresses are what they are wearing in the movie, Punzie's was longer, it covered her feet, she's wearing purple shoes this time, don't worry xD) "And they're pretty."

"Mm-hm." Hiccup and Eugene said together and I looked at them confusingly while they're smiling like maniacs at me.

"What?"

"Is it the three of them or just the girl in an ice gown?" Hiccup wiggled his eyebrows and I felt my cheeks heating up.

"Fine, you already know what the answer is." I deadpanned and they both shared a high five.

I didn't notice that it was already 7, and people already started dancing like crazy as modern music blasted through the large speakers. Punzie and Merida were dancing with the crowd, or rather they were in the very middle of the dance floor. Elsa was facing them and was laughing at Merida's crazy freestyle actions. Punzie is bobbing her head and her hair started to get messy, Eugene and Hiccup were also laughing at them while I just smiled silently on my seat.

Twenty minutes of crazy dancing later, the music stopped and the students complained. Seconds later, a familiar song started playing.

"Ooooooh dear." Eugene says and I raised an eyebrow at him. "It's slow dance time!"

Hiccup immediately stood up and ran to Merida and Eugene also went to Punzie and both invited the girls to dance with them. Okay, Jack. This is your chance. Go for it.

I sighed and stood up, slowly walking towards Elsa.

[Elsa's POV]

My smile faded when a slow music started playing, I know exactly what it is. It's slow dance time.

Suddenly, a figure covered the dance floor lights and a hand was reaching up for me to take, I looked up and saw Jack smiling at me nervously. "Hey...can I have this dance?"

Elsa, don't.

"GO FOR IT!" A random girl yelled and I looked at her with wide eyes. Damn you. I accepted his hand, not wanting to embarrass him.

I put my left hand on his shoulder while he put his right hand on my waist, the other hands were intertwined and we started dancing.

I smiled at Merida and she returned that smile to me before she looked at my shoulder and stopped dancing.

And every turn will be safe with me

"What?" I asked and turned me around.

"They're dancing!" She pointed at Jack and Elsa who were dancing and not moving their eyes away from each other.

"Finally." I grinned.

[Rapunzel's POV]

"OH MY GOSH, EUGENE! LOOK!" I squealed like a teenage fangirl when I saw Elsa and Jack dancing.

It's like catching lightning the chances of finding someone like you

Eugene smiled at me.

"They're having their moment." He said. "And we have ours."

And with every step together, we just keep on getting better

And with that we carried on dancing and smiling at each other, it sure is a magical time.

[Elsa's POV]

Once again, I got lost on those cyan blue eyes of his.

And I can't help falling in love with him all over again.

[Jack's POV]

I slowly spin her around and smiled.

"Elsa." I started and she looked at me expectantly. "I have to say something."

"What is it?" She asked and I was a bit surprise that she wasn't glaring at me, or not letting me talk.

The song ended and we stopped dancing. She looked at me in shock. "W-what?"

"Can we...I don't know how to say it." I admitted. "But I want you back, Elsa...I realize it now, it's you I really love." I was already breathing heavily. "For a thousandth time, I'm sorry for what I did, but I wanted to make it up to you, please."

She opened her mouth to say something but then she just closed it again and looked downcast.

[Elsa's POV]

I thought you'd never say that. I opened my mouth to say sit but then I just closed it again and looked downcast. I can't.

"Elsa?" He looked at me with pure worry in his eyes.

"I--" I started but I couldn't say anything. I wanted to...but is it worth the risk?

I don't want to get hurt again. "I can't." I hurriedly walked out and left him in the middle of the dance floor. I opened the door of the great hall and left. I started walking to the campus exit but I suddenly stopped, looked back at the hall and stared at it.

Should I go back?

"Elsa!" I heard Jack's voice and I heard running footsteps. "Where are you going?" He asked and I finally saw him running towards me.

"Jack, please! I can't!" I yelled.

"What do you mean, 'you can't'?" He asked and I shook my head.

"I--I don't know, Jack!"

"Do you still love me?"

My eyes widened on his sudden question and I hugged myself. "I--I don't know." My voice cracked.

"Elsa--"

"FINE! I STILL LOVE YOU, OKAY?!"

"Then why are you holding back?"

"I don't have to answer that." I replied and walked out once again.

"Elsa, I did everything for you, you know that?" He yelled, I got out of the exit, trying hard to ignored him and I crossed the road once I saw our car parking on the other side. "I tried so hard for you to forgive me, you said you still love me, so why are you holding back? WHAT ARE YOU SO AFRAID OF?!"

"ENOUGH!" I yelled and stopped walking and he froze on his spot. "Look, I don't want to, okay? I'm afraid that you'll hurt me all over again, that you'll fall in love with another and leave me once again! I do love you, Jack, but I can't risk my heart being broken once again."

"I'm not going to hurt you this time." He said, his voice full of sincerity. "I made a mistake once and I don't wanna do it again. If I do, I'd kill myself." He reached out his hand for me to take. "Elsa, come back to me."

I hesitated.

Should I take it?

Should I not?

I took a deep breath and made my decision and hopefully that he'll fulfill that promise. I slowly walked towards him.

But then the world started to move in slow motion.

I saw a very bright light coming towards me.

I squinted my eyes.

I felt someone pushing me and I fell to the ground and it hit my head.

I heard a loud bang.

I slowly got up.

I saw blood.

I saw him lying on the floor.

I saw a black car stopped.

I saw a couple got out of the car.

I saw one calling an ambulance.

I saw several students got out of the hall.

My vision blurred.

I heard sirens.

I blacked out.

I slowly opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was white...

White.

I jolted awake and the white sheet flew off me.

I'm in a hospital. I saw a nurse got inside and I looked at her confusingly. "Oh, you're awake. Your mom and sister is coming."

"What happened?" I asked her.

"Not really detailed but all I know is that your boyfriend saved you from being hit with that car." She replied and my eyes widened.

"WHAT?"

"He's critical right now."

I got out of bed but my feet felt like jelly. "Whoa, whoa! Hold on, missy! You still need rest!" She said to me but I ignored her.

"I don't care! I need to see him!" I managed to walk, or rather run. The nurse was following me and then he showed me where Jack is.

"You can't go inside." She said and I suddenly felt weak again. I flopped down on the soft chair beside the door and stared into space.

How could this happen?

Why did happened too fast?

I hit myself. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!

I should've never walked out of the dance!

I should've said yes and none of this should've ever happened!

This is all my fault.
