SHIP WRECKED DAY THREE

"Okay, we're gonna get this raft done today," Metori encouraged, perched up on a rock as he pointed at everyone, giving them instructions. "Chin peon and god of peons, stop cutting wood, start building." He commanded (yessir-).

"You help too!" Kubayasu argued, clenching the handle of his saw. Metori waved his hand, dismissing him. "I'm supervising," Metori explained, "I keep things moving along efficiently." Kubayasu grimaced, bringing his saw up, as if he's ready to attack.

Surviving Members: 9

"Good grief. Don't start killing people off."

Surviving Members: 10

"You want me to help?" Metori asked, "Then get on your knees and beg for my help." A small box above him popped up, reading ' ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)- author-chan'. The box disappeared as it quickly appeared. "We don't need your help!" Kubayasu barked as he sawed wood, taking his frustration out on the tree.

"It's going so much faster ever since Saiko showed up," Yumehara professed. [Name] nodded, agreeing with her friend. "Agreed... I'm just glad he came back to help," Teruhashi spoke, smiling with a small blush. 'I bet it was the cabbage snack I left him!' She thought. "I wonder what happened." Yumehara giggled. 'It was my cabbage snack.' "It was literally none of those. [Name] convinced him"

"Finally, we're on the same page. It finally took us three chapters--I mean three days to get to this part. Author-chan is probably snacking on ice cream and cold spaghetti right about now."

"Bring that over."

"Okay."

Everyone worked together and everything went smoothly, until...

"After we're done, who will ride on the raft?" Metori blurted and the happy mood dialed down until it was nothing but despair. "What? All of us will," Kuboyasu stuttered, confused by his proposition. "Why does everyone need to go?"

"Are you saying you want to leave someone behind?" Nendou accused, a fiery red aura surrounding him as his irises suddenly turned red. Kaidou and [Name] held Nendou back from doing anything rash to Metori. "Calm down, Nendou!" [Name] grunted, her hands on his chest as she kept her feet on the ground, trying to push him away. Suddenly, her and Kaidou flew off. She landed on top of Kaidou, and both of them groaned out of pain.

"I think... you broke something," Kaidou wheezed and [Name] got on her feet, helping the frail boy up. "Hehe... sorry!" She apologized.

"You've got to be kidding me! How could you even say that?" Nendou continued, gripping Metori's collar. "We all worked hard together to get this far." His eyes filled with unshed tears.

"That's not what I mean," Metori assured, pushing Nendou's hand off his collar. "The people on the raft can send help back once they're rescued." He fixed his collar. 

(a/n: i rlly thought he was gonna unbutton his shirt in this scene and i was like 'DO IT DO IT DO IT' but he didn't, and all i can remember was my sad whale cries-)

"You're right. We don't need everyone to go."

"I wonder why we thought we all had to go."

"Good grief. He figured it out." 

Before they made the decision of who to put on the raft, they all ate lunch. Kuboyasu, Kusuo, Yumehara, and Mera sat on a fallen tree. Kim and Kaidou sat on the grass, talking about the Dark Reunion. [Name] and Metori sat on a large rock, leaning against each other's back as a rest.

"Now, let's talk about who will ride on the raft," Kim piped, "So, is there anyone who wants to go?" She looked around at her friends. SILENCE. Not one of them respond. Anime sweat drops ran down her forehead.

"Not surprising... It's clearly safer to stay on the island. No one is going to volunteer."

Nendou waved his arms in the air, exclaiming. "Me! I want to go on the boat!" He volunteered. 

"Except that idiot."

"Then, you're definitely on, Nendou," Kim told him, and he happily punched the air. "Well, us men should go," Kuboyasu suggested, "I don't mind going."

"How about all the guys go to be fair?" Kaidou spoke and in the background, a representation popped up, showing the mini teenagers. The boys were on the raft, going away from the island where the girls stood. "No, that's too many people on the raft," Metori countered, "Weight will be an issue. You only need four people. So I'll stay." In this representation, it showed Metori and the girls on the island while the other four went on the raft.

"You just want to stay with the girls!"

"This way, my lineage is protected if you don't make it back," Metori defended and crossed his arms, "If anyone's DNA should survive, it would be mine." 

Kim made a heart shape with her hands. "No ❤️."

"I'm going on the raft, too!" Yumehara spoke, and Teruhashi raised her hand. "Me as well."

Metori snapped his fingers. "Perfect, let's go with that." It showed him and [Name] staying on the island as the others went away on the boat. "Not on my watch." Kusuo huffed.

"This is going nowhere, so I'll decide," Kuboyasu shouted and began to make the groups of who gets to stay and who is on the boat.

Raft Group: Metori, Mera, Kuboyasu, Nendou, Kim

Island Group: [Name], Kaidou, Kusuo, Teruhashi, Yumehara

After that, everyone split up, doing their own thing.

The next day, everyone was up bright and early, ready to send the raft group off into the ocean. Kuboyasu climbed on, smiling. "It's super stable!" He made peace signs. It turns out he was sitting in a life boat.

"We found ten castaways!" The emergency responder spoke into his radio. "That matches our report. Rescue them all." The person behind the radio ordered. 

"Who are you?! What the hell!"

'Kusuo...?' [Name] eyed him suspiciously. "はい。" 'You did this, huh?' "Of course I did."

"We're rescued! Woohoo!" Kim jumped up and down, immediately regretting it as she started feeling nauseated. "Oh God." She held onto her stomach, gripping [Name]'s shoulder to stabilize herself. [Name] rolled her eyes. "This why you don't eat ten bags of cabbage snacks." She sighed, helping her friend into the rescue raft. "But the chibi cabbage is too kawaii to resist!"
