"Mommy, daddy? Can I have some ice cream please?" Jungkook said in a sweet voice.

His parents look worriedly at each other. It was a familiar scene. Their sweet son, wanting a sweet treat for being such a sweet boy. Though after, his parents would look in their purses, bags wallets and pockets and couldn't even spare a dollar for the poor boy. Jungkook's mother kneeled down to his height.

(Which was pretty tall for his age, may I add).

"Jungkook... sweetie. I'm sorry. Your father and I, we don't have enough money for ice cream today. I'm sorry baby.. I really want to get you ice cream. I promise I'll find some money for a small ice cream cone for you another day."

Jungkook looked towards the ground. He was sad. Very upset, to tell the truth. But he wasn't crying.

His head shot back up.

"It's okay mommy. When Kookie grow up, Kookie will make a lot of money for mommy and daddy, so mommy and daddy can get ice cream with Kookie together!" Jungkook exclaims. His mother laughs, and his father does as well. They all hug each other tightly.

They all walk home as Jungkook stares at the ice cream shop. His eyes land on a little girl around his age wearing a fancy dress. She eats ice cream with her parents who are on their phones. She looks at Jungkook, who has no ice cream in hand, and laughs at him.

Stupid rich assholes, Jungkook thinks.
