My lesson!
So I have been recently riding a 13.3 hand pony named Rocky. He is not owned by the people that run my barn, he is just boarded there in the winter (I believe). Rocky is a very nervous and scared pony, anything that is new in the arena he will most defiantly book it and run the other direction. Since there was nothing new in the arena today, he literally was afraid of his own shadow😂. Since we were indoors, there was light shining through the window onto the other side of the arena wall creating shadows. He literally walked by the wall when I wasn't on him and was fine, but as soon as I get on he flips out! But as soon as we started jumping he was fine!

4&5 were a very wide bounce!
All of the jumps were verticals today! I had to get 7 strides from jump 1 to 2. Then I did a flying lead change if needed, cantering up to the 3rd jump. Then I had to extend the canter but not let him run at the same time to the bounce. Change my lead if needed and head up to 6. Then my trainer made me stop straight after 6 turn left, canter a circle back down jump 6. Then stop straight after 6 again and turn right, canter a circle and go back up 6. I did this for the rest of the lesson working on keeping him steady and my thigh against my saddle.(my saddle has no knee rolls) overall it was a good lesson! The people that own Rocky only board him at the barn over the winter (I believe) so this was most likely my last lesson on him😭😭 because they will take him and their other horse back to their house where they keep them over the summer. Which means that I will most likely have to ride Huxley, a very tall horse that is an old grumpy man that no one likes... yay (note the sarcasm)
That is not rocky in the video, rocky is a bay and slightly taller than that pony! That is also not me riding!
