So I have my lessons on Tuesday every week and I am only allowed to have electronics on the weekend so yeah. On to the lesson! I rode my favorite horse named Riley! He is a paint with one blue eye and one brown eye. He goes to huge Gunter jumper shows against top horses and he still wins!❤️❤️ I warmed up in the indoor arena where I walked Troyes and cantered. I practiced circling and keeping my leg still. When my trainer came out, I did some verticals for warm ups and then some courses with the jumps put up to oxers. It was beautiful outside so I had the rest of my lesson outside!! This is the first time I have ridden outside at this barn and it was also the first time Riley had been ridden in two weeks and this was also his first time outside since last year. I jumped over some larger logs that were past my waist. Then I did some bending lines from a log to a Swedish oxer! Whilst I was jumping, there was a baby bird learning how to fly! I finished up my lesson by trotting around the barn and up hills outside of the arena. Riley was a good boy (he is like the wildfire of this barn) and I hosed him off! There is another horse at the barn named Huxley who likes to twist his head around and rip the reins out of your hands... I will have to ride him soon...😤😤😑 overall it was an amazing lesson!!
