Arrogate made a stop to drop off California Chrome in Kentucky before heading back to California

Most everyone in racing was hoping for Dubai World Cup winner Chrome and Classic winner Arrogate to be neck and neck at the 8th pole in Saturdays Pegusus world cup. But the was far from happening. When Chrome hit the 3/8 pole trainer art Sherman knew something was up. Chrome came in 4th to last, I believe, in a field of 12! Well behind arrogate who breezed to win the Pegusus. After the race Sherman told a tvg network reporter that Chrome was "pointing that right knee" , he is suspecting a bone chip. Art said it didn't look major,however, from the way he cooled out after the Pegusus. Later x-rays showed fluid in Chromes right knee. They are having him checked out by a vet, but as of today two time horse of the year winner California Chrome has made it to Taylor Made Farm in Kentucky. So far Chrome has 128 mares to cover.
