Normal POV

"Nashi don't make me tell you again" Lucy warned. "Give your brother the book right now." Nashi held the book to her chest very tightly in a protective way. "No he'll just ruin it like he ruins everything else!" She yelled running off down the hall only to run into Natsu's chest.

"D-Dad?!" Natsu raised an eyebrow. "I heard yelling what's going on?" Nashi looked away from her dads questioning eyes. "Nash?" She gripped the book even tighter. "She won't let Igneel read the book" Lucy commented as she walked in with Iggy on her side. "What why not? It's a kiddy book anyway?" Natsu scratched the back of his head. "Come on kiddo let him read it, you can have it back later" Nashi stepped back again.

Natsu slipped behind her and pulled the book from her arms. Her eyes opened widely and she gasped. "No! Give it back Dad!" She cried out trying to grabbed the book from his hands. Sucks for her for being 9 and being short. Natsu simple head the book up and placed his hand on her head. "You can have the book back later princess" Nashi crossed her arms and pouted.

"I hate all of you!" She screamed before pushing her mom out of the way running to her room.

The parents stood there in complete shock. Lucy started to storm off towards her room angered but Natsu grabbed her forearm. "Hey I'll deal with her, you go read the story to iggy okay?" He handed her the book then ruffled the little boy's blonde spikes. Lucy signed and picked up the 4 year old.

"She always was a daddy's girl"

Natsu chuckled and kissed her cheek. "And now you have your Momma's boy" she rolled her eyes then walked down the hall to Igneels room. Natsu watched her hips sway as she walked down the hall and smirked. 'Damn I'm one lucky man.' The Dad tapped on his daughters door and waited for her to answer.

"Nash open up" "go away you jerk!" "Don't make me break down the door" a muffled scream could be heard from the other side of the door. "Hey kiddo I got some cookies" he heard a little gasped and shuffling of footsteps. The door slowly creaked open and chocolate eyes peered out. "Hey there you gonna open up?" Nashi's eyes looked at his hands and glared.

"Lair!" She yelled before trying to slam the door, only for Natsu to jab his foot in the way. "Nu uh missy" he pushed the door open and grabbed her arm. "STOP!" She yelled at scared she was gonna get punished. Natsu threw the little monster over his shoulder and started walking down the stairs. "Put me down you big meanie!" She yelled and hit his back. "Stop hitting me and squirming around ya Turd!"

Nashi's finally gave up and slumped over her dads shoulders. "Man kid you're getting heavy. And dads getting old" Natsu sat her down on the stool at the bar in the kitchen. He worked his away around the kitchen getting out a glass of milk and the Oreos. The two said nothing as they both ate their favorite cookies.

Natsu and Nashi's both tried to drunk their cookie at the same time and well Nashi won since her hand was small. "So wanna talk me why you wouldn't let your brother read the book?" Nashi's eyes slowly looked away from her dads gaze. "It's my favorite book and mom gave it to me. It's not fair that he gets everything now. Next he'll be wanting my scarf!" She yelled as she wrapped the scaly white fabric tighter around her neck. "He can't have it it's mine!"

Natsu chuckled and sighed. "Wanna be technical, it's mine and you're the one who stole it." The little girls eyebrows stitched together. "What do you mean? I've always had this scarf" Natsu ran his hand through his pink locks and smiled.

"Well my dad gave it to me when I was about your age and when you were a baby I couldn't get you to sleep without being in my arms so I thought maybe something warm and smells like me would so I pulled out my scarf and wrapped you up in it. You immediately fell in love and cried every time I tried to wear it so I thought I might as well just let you keep it."

Nashi looked down at the scarf and played with it in her hands. "So it's kind of a family thing where we give it to our kids?" Natsu nodded and took a sip of the milk. "So I'll have to give it to me and storms kids when I grow up?" The milk was suddenly strayed all over the kitchen and Natsu was choking. "Whoa whoa now, who said anything about you and storm getting together?" Nashi giggled and smiled.

"Well I mean we're best friends so I thought that's how it worked." "No that is not how it worked and it's time for you to make new friends how about levy and iron heads kid what's her name, oh right misa." Nashi made a face and huffed. "I'm not hanging out with a 5 year old dad. And that's iggys friend not mine!"

"God anyone but the strippers kid Nash anyone!" He begged and pleaded. "Natsu why am I hearing the word stripper come from your mouth when your talking to our daughter?" Lucy questions as she walks in annoyed and sluggish. "She was talking about having kids with that popsicle Grays kid!" Natsu argued back.

"Luce you okay?"

He stood up and walked by her side noticing he appearance to look out of place. "I'm fine, I'm just a little tired that all." She started fumbling over her own feet crashing into the table and Natsu. "Lucy!" Natsu quickly pick her up and carried her to their room. "Jesus Lucy you're face is on fire. Why didn't you tell me you felt bad? Nashi go get a basic of water and a rag" Nashi's ran out of the room in a hurry.

"I thought I was just tired from playing with Igneel and arguing with Nashi." She sighed as her eyes started to feel heavy. "I'm sorry.. I'm sorry for worrying you." She breathed out as she slowly fell asleep. "Dummy I'll always be worried about you. I love you." He kissed her ring finger tenderly before tucking her in.

"Here Dad!" Nashi rushed in with the water basin. Natsu dipped the rag in the water and rang it out before placing it on her forehead. "Rest well" he whispered before turning off the light and guiding Nashi out. "Will mommy be okay?" Natsu smiled. "Yeah kiddo she'll be just fine. She just needs some rest."

"Stop it you old fart!" The pinkette with unruly tangled hair yelled as she shoved her father with he elbow, never looking off the tv screen. "You little monster stop shoving me and accept defeat!" Natsu roared back. The two have been sitting in from of the tv playing all sorts of video games for the last few hours. With Lucy sick and Igneel taking his daily four hour nap the two had time to bond.

"Stop hitting me with the blue turtle shell!" Nashi screamed as she saw the warning for the attack. "Not till you're out of first place!" Natsu smirked as he flew past the explosion. "Victory for Dad!" He cheered. "Ha I'm your little snot nosed face." Nashi growled and angrily pouted.

The little girl, pretty as can be but has the manners of a boy. She's loud, messy, and don't know how to give up without a good fight. You can thank Natsu for her behavior, the two are closer than ever it's only natural she'd be more like him. Though something told Lucy as the two got older they most likely drift towards the same sex parent, seeing as puberty hit they'd feel more comfortable.

Lucy really couldn't wait for the days Nashi's inner girly girl came out. She wanted to take her to the mall and be there to comfort her when she had her first heart break. Although Lucy was sure she'd cry to Natsu. It wasn't like they weren't close but Natsu and Nashi's bond was much stronger.

"Hey hey Dragneels guess whose home!"

Nashi's eyes lit up like a child on Christmas. "Ahh Wendy!" The little girl threw down her controller and ran to the door. "I've missed you so much!" Nahsi jumped into Wendy's arms just to knock the pair to the ground. "Hey you you've gotten big!" Wendy giggled patting Nashi's head. "Yo Wendy long time no see"

Natsu greeted her putting his hand out to help her up. "Yeah it's been what 6 months?" Wendy sweat-dropped as she stood up and Nashi was still clinging to her leg. "Nash get off her" the girl only clung on tighter. "No way I've missed her to much." Wendy just waved her hand off and started walking to the couch with Nashi on her legs.

"So how's college treating you?" Natsu asked as he flopped down next to her. "Tiring, but just think about it sooner or later I'll be a doctor! Not just a nurse." Natsu grinned. "Well I'm glad to hear all my money's not going to waist." Wendy giggled. "How everyone been since the holidays? Oh where's my precious little nephew?!" Nashi growled and let go of Wendy's leg and stomped up stairs.

"What's with her?" Natsu scratched the back of his head. "I think she's jealous of Igneel" Wendy made an O shape with her mouth and smiled. "Aww sweet sibling rivalry." "Daddy.." Natsu and Wendy turned their heads towards the voice. "Ahh iggy!" Wendy cheered rushing up going to his side picking him in. "Oh look at you and all your blonde mess!" She cooed kissing his cheeks. The little boy giggled and wrapped his little arms around his neck. "Wendy!" Natsu stood up and passed by Wendy.

"Hey I'll be right back gonna go check on Lucy she wasn't feeling well earlier." Wendy nodded and brought Igneel to the kitchen for his afternoon snack. Natsu trudged up the stairs. "32 years old and we're already having knee problems." Natsu told himself as he made his way up. "Luce you up yet?" Natsu whispered as he walked by her side. "Nuuu" A smile slowly formed in his face as he knelt down.

"Oh yes you are" he stated as he started started to tickle her side. "Noo Natsu no stooop!" She yelled kicking her legs. "Ahah stop!" "Are you feeling better Luce?" He asked as he helped her sit up. "Yeah I guess I was just tired" Natsu placed his hand to her forehead. "Fevers gone, and Wendy's here" "aw she is, I gotta go see her" Lucy crawled out of bed and changed her clothes.

"Oh I've missed you!" Lucy cried out pulling Wendy into a bone crushing hug. "Lucy can't breathe" Wendy choked out tapping on Lucy arm. Lucy released and smiled. "I miss having you around all the time Wen" "I've missed being here trust me" the two talked while Natsu and Igneel played in the living room. "So how Romeo been?" "Oh he's alright, he's ready graduate and move on with life"

Lucy tapped her finger on her chin. "When's that boy gonna ask you to marry him?" Wendy's face flushed up. "L-Lucy!" Lucy laughed and sighed. "Ahh young love" "say where's Nashi" Wendy giggled. "She's still up stairs pouting" Lucy's eyebrows stitched together. "I thought Natsu talked to her" Natsu just so happened to walk in. "I did and she was fine till she got here. Then Wendy asked to see Igneel and she got all butt hurt."

Natsu sat down in the chair next to Lucy. "I don't know what's going on in her head but she needs to get all this jealously out that's no need for it." "Natsu she's just a little girl" Wendy tried to reason. Natsu only scoffed and looked away. "She has a point Natsu, she'll get over it eventually. No point to make a big deal about it." "Alright alright I get it jeezum"

Oh wow an update😅 you know you're taking to long when two people dm you on insta asking you to update. (You know who you are)

As you can probably tell from the gaps between chapters and the shorten length of chapters (aside from this one being the first 2000 words in a while) this story is coming to an end. I have nothing else to do for this story. I don't want it to become about Nashi so with a heavy heart this story will probably only have one or two more chapters.

I really enjoyed writing this story, it was my favorite all honestly. If you do like my stories I'll be coming out with some new stories.
