Ashley's POV:

URGHHH! This is useless! How am I even going to find my mate in this big...place? All I've met are horny teenagers and rogues. What's wrong with my life?!

'This is useless Rachael! ' I screamed at Rachael, my wolf.

'Patience Ash, patience.'

'I had already been to two packs already and what had I found? A bunch of horny teenagers and some old wolves looking for a young wolf to feast on! '

'Well, it can't be helped, I'm too hot. ' She smirks at me arrogantly at her comeback.

'Oh please,  in the hot one here. I got the boobs and the butt, not you.' I rolled my eyes playfully at her as I continued my way up north.

'Hey! Your body is also my body ok? We are practically one!' True...

'Of course it's true.'

'Get out of my head!'

'As much as I wish to, I can't.  I an stuck in this weak human shell of yours.'

'Well, that's too bad. Deal with it.'

'Urgh, whatever.' She flipped me off and walked back to her spot.

'So...do you think we will find our mate?' I ask curiously and hopefully, only to be met by a moment of silence.

'Maybe. I know we are going to find him soon. I'm sure...I hope I'm right...'

'Oh...ok. How soon?'

'Soon. Very soon...'

'Righttt... '

'Can you let me out?'

'Why?' Rachael never asked to be let out before as she was too girly and wanted her paws clean.

'I don't know. I just have a strong urge to run. Run fast and uphill, to the Black Nights pack. I feel like I will find something there.'

'Oh ok... but only until we reach there. Deal? I'll take over when we reached.'

'Deal.' She nodded firmly and went back into my head silently.

Relaxing myself, I removed my clothes and shoes, folding them nicely into a bundle before shifting into my pearly white wolf.  Letting Rachael take control, I sat behind in my own mind as Rachael picked up my clothes with her pearl white canines before sprinting off into the dense forest, enjoying the wind rushing through her fur as she pounce and leaped over rocks and streams without taking a break.

'Sugar high huh?'

'Yeah! I feel so free!' I laughed at her childishness and settled back in my mind as I allowed her to enjoy having control.

Jace's POV:

I ran around the perimeter of my pack's border when I saw a pearl white wolf run past me and into my territory uninvited. Rogues...Hunter growled at me when I said that word.

'The hell dude. What's wrong with you?'

'Mate.' One word is al I need to make me take off , chasing my mate in a cat and mouse game. 

Catching up with her, we arrived at a lake in our pack's backyard and stopped as she skips towards the lake and drank greedily from it. the way her tongue carried water into her mouth had surprisingly got me a raging hard on . I wonder what other wonders she will be able to do with that tongue of hers.

 After she had quenched her thirst, she laid down on her back and stretched as she stares beautifully at the sky. 

'I want her.' Hunter suddenly spoke up out of no where causing me to jump back a little.

'Me too. She's beautiful.' I stared at her dreamily behind a tree as I watched her fur dance and twirl with the soft breeze.

'Not beautiful...but a goddess...an extremely sexy goddess.' I beamed in pride knowing that we have such a wonderful female as our mate. Shifting back, I changed into a pair of skinny jeans I found behind a bush, leaving the shirt off. It's too hot okay and I don't like being covered after a run. I walked out slowly out from my hiding spot to my mate. As if sensing my presence, she immediately jumped up on her fours and moved back carefully from me making Hunter whimper slightly.

"Shift." That's all it took for her to shift into a gorgeous tall and slender woman with eyes as beautiful as the crystal clear blue sea, hazel coloured hair flowing down her back nicely without a tangle or dirt in any place, a small cute button nose and small plum and juicy lips which looks extremely tempting. I wouldn't dare to look further down or I will lose control for sure.

"Um...can I change first?" Damn...her voice sounds like a sweet melody to my ears. Oh wait..

"Oh...of course!" I stuttered embarrassingly as I turned away quickly with a light blush forming on my cheeks, hoping that she did not see my embarrassed looks but I think she still saw it as she let out a little giggle which made my heart melt.

"Ok. You may turn back-" She says casually and stopped mid-sentence when I immediately faced her. Thinking that I had done something wrong, I opened my mouth to apologize but then realized that she was staring at me intensely as her eyes travelled further down to my exposed abs and lingered there for quite some time.

"Take a picture. It will last longer." I winked at her with a slight smirk when she snapped out of her daze and flushed a deep shade of pink. She scratched her neck awkwardly as look up into my eyes, causing all movements to freeze.

"Mate..." She whispered softly causing Hunter and I to purr in contentment.

"Mate." I spoke confidently as I took in her sweet scent of cotten candy and honey.

Snapping out of my daze, I stuck my hand out and introduced my self." I'm Jace."

As if she snapped out of her daydream, she blushed again lightly before putting her hand in mine as sparks shot feverishly at our contact. "I'm Ashley."

Ashley...Ashley..."A beautiful name for a beautiful girl." She blushes again as she mumbled a soft thank you cutely. She's going to be the death of me.
