"Miss Nathalie, gumising na po kayo male-late na po kayo sa unang pasok niyo" I heard our yaya while knocking my goddamn door. Kanina pa ako kinakatok but I am still sleepy and It's too noisy. For sure si Mommy na naman nagpasabi nun hayst

"Yah, later" Tipid na sagot ko habang nakapikit pa din dahil tinatamad pa akong gumalaw at tumayo

"Pero Miss Nathalie, kanina pa po kayo pinapababa ni Madame" Pagdadahilan nito. Parang biglang umakyat ang dugo ko dahil dun kaya naman sa inis ko ay nasigawan ko ito nang wala sa oras.

"CAN YOU PLEASE? SHUT YOUR GODDAMN MOUTH AND LEAVE? YOU'RE IRRITATING THE HELL OUT OF ME!!!! GET IT?" Pasigaw kong sinabi. Hindi ko man makita ito ay paniguradong nagpa-panic na ito dahil sa sinabi ko

"A-Ah s-sige po Miss Nathalie, pasensiya na po" Narinig ko nalang ang yabag ng mga paa niya papalayo

Haysttt, I'm so stressed agad!

I stand up and faced myself in front of the mirror. Sinipat ko nang mabuti ang mukha ko at napangiti ako. No wonder, I'm still gorgeous

After doing my morning routine, I saw my Mom in the kitchen preparing our food for breakfast

"Hi Mommy, good morning" I said in my sweetest voice. Ngumiti naman siya sa'kin nang lumingon ito sa kinatatayuan ko

"Hello there baby" She said and then looked at me from head to toe with her usual smile "Ohh you're so pretty!" Komento pa nito sa kabuuan ko. I know right!? Hayst Baby? I'm not a baby anymore

Yahh, she used to call me baby also to my brother, Nathaniel.

"Mom, how many times do I have to tell you that I'm not a baby anymore and yeah I'm pretty, in born na iyon, hindi ka pa ba sanay?" I winked after saying that

"Yah I know right but you're still my baby" Nakangiti niyang sinabi pero inirapan ko lang siya

"Whatever Mom" Sagot ko at sabay na kaming kumain with Dad. Yung Kuya ko? Ayun pumasok na, maaga talaga siya kasi first day eh, hayst ewan ko ba dun.

After I ate my breakfast, I decided to go to the school already. Hayst, sana naman hindi traffic. I'm so bored na kaya. Hindi din naman ako excited dito sa starting eh actually nakakatamad kayang mag-aral, feel niyo yon?

"Hi Chan"

"Hi Lie" Those familiar voice.

Nang lumingon ako, I knew it. Si Celes at Shane lang as usual. Wala naman nagtatangkang kumausap sa akin dito maliban sa kanila. Kilala ako dito hindi lang dahil sa ganda at tanyag na apelyido ko, kundi kilala din nila ako bilang babaeng walang puso. Well, not really

Madami akong nickname pero sila lang naman nagtatawag sa akin niyan kaya automatic na. Chan ang tawag sa akin ni Celes at Lie naman ang tawag sa akin ni Shane but most of the people around me call me by my name

"Oh girls, what's up?" I said. Hmm, I also missed them, I didn't bond with them or be with them on vacation that's why.

"We miss you girl" They said in unison and then hug me so tight. Yeah! It was so tight yung tipong di na ako makahinga ganun. Sweet nila nuh? But hello? I don't like it, oa kasi nila masyado, nakakabawas ng ganda.

"Put your hands off or else..." Pagbabanta ko.

Pero...

What the hell!! I'm serious here! Bakit sila tumatawa? Sa inis ko ay bigla ko nalang silang tinalikuran. Syempre maganda ako kaya malakas ang apog ko na mag walk-out nuh!

"Huy wait lang girl, can you hintay-hintay us naman?" Sabi ni Shane. Napairap ako dahil sa paraan niya ng pagsasalita.

Kahit kailan talaga conyo magsalita 'to. Hmmm wow huh? It really came from me. Well, mas maganda naman ako sa kanila diba, diba?

Sasakay ka o sasabunutan kita?

Parang nawala bigla yung magandang ideya na nasa isip ko kanina nung bigla akong tinapik ni Shane sa balikat "Uy Lie, ang cute nung guy oh? He's so hot gosh!!" Naglalaway na aniya ni Shane. Oh yuck! Paano ko ba naging kaibigan ito? Parang sa lansangan lang tumitira kung umasta eh. And the hell I care about that guy.

I just didn't pay attention to who Shane was referring to. Ano ba naman kasi yan, unang araw palang may nirereto na agad sila.

I was fixing my hair when I realized what I said in my mind. My eyes widened at that idea. W-What did I say? Nirereto? H-How I became like this?

She didn't say anything, she just said that the guy was cute and hot, even though he wasn't, so why the hell did I say that? Even if I don't look, I know it's ugly. I haven't seen a handsome man here since I studied so would I still be surprised if there is no new?

"Hey Chan, you're spacing out" Pagkausap sa akin ni Celes na nagpabalik sa akin sa reyalidad

"Kanina ka pa namin kinakausap ni Shane ah! Don't tell me you like that guy?" Nanunuksong sabi sa'kin ni Celes. Halos mamula ang buong mukha ko sa pagkahiya at disgusto dahil sa walang kwentang tukso niya

WHAT THE?? AKO? MAY GUSTO SA MUKHANG ESPALTO?

I instantly puked at that thought. Well, don't take it seriously, it's disgusting if I really did that but in my mind I have even released my intestines already

I was so disgusted by what Celes' said that I couldn't stop myself from raising my brows "Oh my goodness!! Do you hear what you're saying? It's disgusting, tska hello? I didn't even look at that guy!" I once defended

Palihim pa silang tumawa kaya tinignan ko sila ng matalim para itigil nila dahil hindi na talaga nakakatuwa

"Whatever" Tugon nilang pareho. Inangkala ni Shane ang braso niya kay Celes at inakay na ito paalis

"Tara na nga sa room"

Nang makarating kami duon ay wala pang ilang minuto nang sumunod ang naturang adviser namin

"GOOD MORNING CLASS" Miss Agatha greeted us. I've known her for a long time and they say she's the Higher Class adviser at ABM so I already knew her before she stepped on

"I'm Mrs. Agatha Dela Cuesta, your adviser 'til the school year ends and since, it is our first day, we all know what will gonna happen. Sanay naman na siguro kayo na kapag first day of class na ganun ang routine hindi ba? So I'll let you introduce yourselves here in front. Anything about yourself that you want to share" I knew it. For sure almost all of our subjects today will be like this.

Miss Dela Cuesta pointed to the first one and she stood up and introduced herself eventually. I looked at her intently and noticed that this woman looked like a nerdy

"Hi I'm Pearl Martinez, I am 17 years old. I don't know what to say but I like reading different kind of books especially the historical one..." Aniya. I didn't follow everything she said because I looked at her from head to foot. I just laughed at the realization. No wonder, it's obvious that she's really too much being a student

Natawa nalang yung mga kaklase ko.

"Di naman obvious" Sabay-sabay na sabi ng mga ito. I tried to hide my smirked but it turns out letting a small laugh from my mouth. Note the sarcasm girl. She's so nerdy and I hate that. Ang loshang manamit at ang kapal pa ng eye glasses! What a poor girl, she can't even fix her self

Sakto namang pagkaupo nito nang may tumayo. Pinagmasdan ko ito at ang masasabi ko? Mukha siyang poorita

Inayos nito ang sarili at nagsalita "Hi! I'm Ella Valdez and I am 17 years old. I ju-just want to share t-this one, umm d-di po kami mayaman pero dahil sa s-scholarship ko kaya ako nakapag-aral sa magandang p-paaralan na ito. G-Galing ako sa Public School. Catarina National High School po to be exact. And I h-hope na maging c-close ko kayo" Sabi niya sabay ngiti

Parang narinig ko na 'tong eskwelahang ito but I don't know when

Muli kong tinignan yung Ella and all I can say? she's so simple. Mahahalata mo talaga sa kaniya na hindi siya galing sa mayaman na pamilya dahil sa kutis palang nito ay wala na. But I don't know why there's something inside me na sinasabing HINDI KO SIYA GUSTO

She looks so plain but there must be something on here sleeves for me to say this and I can't identify that dahil ngayon ko palang naman siya nakilala

Nang dahil sa pag-iisip, hindi ko namalayang si Shane na pala ang pumunta sa harap

"Hello, you know me naman na pero sa mga hindi pa,  I'm Shane Vicquerra"

"They said ang sungit ko daw, pero duh! Si Lie ang worst" She looked at me while laughing. Almost everyone laughed at the same time because of her useless introduction

Most people know that she calls me that. I just stared at her and focused my eyes on her because she seemed to have something more to say!

"They also said I'm maldita, well when you hit me you'll see the real maldita you're saying. I'm not as bad as you think" She paused

"Well by the way, I'm 17 years old and pretty" She said then winked and went straight to her seat next to Celes before me

Minsan, I was asking myself kung paano ko 'to naging kaibigan. I hate dramas at masasabi kong ganun siya so I'm starting to hate her na

It's seem that I went to another galaxy because of my imagination and I didn't even realize who was introducing already because it was done voluntarily

Gusto kasi niyang maging nurse kaso dito sa ABM stand for Accountancy, Business, and Management siya napunta. Only child siya kaya hindi siya pwedeng lumiko dahil walang magiging tagapagmana

Ang daming sumunod kaso I'm not that interested kaya agad ako napanawan ng interest kasi makikilala ko din naman sila pag nagtagal 'tska hello? Hindi din naman ako interesadong makilala sila

"Good morning"

Bigla akong napalingon sa harap para tignan kung sino ang nagsalita. Nawala na din yung iniisip ko. Parang biglang nag-iba ang ihip ng hangin, tinignan ko ito at nagtagal ang mga mata ko sa kaniya. I was amazed by his eyes. Hindi ko matukoy kung anong kulay iyon dahil malayo.

And I seem to be taking back what I said earlier that I have never seen a handsome man in all my life here at BRIA. I almost dropped my jaw when we looked at each other. His lips were thin and red. His husky voice, thick brows, messy hair and outfit made me stop for a bit

Parang bigla akong pinanawan ng kaluluwa nung napansin ko ang klase ng titig niya, napakalamig. Na parang sa lamig niyon ay bigla akong bumalik sa aking ulirat

Umawang ang labi ko dahil sa naisip. Frustrated kong kinurot ang kamay ko dahil dun. Hindi ko naman siya pinagpapantasiyahan diba? I'm not that kind of a girl. I'm so beautiful para makuha niya agad ang atensyon ko!!

Napansin kong parang kiti-kiti si Shane dahil sa paggalaw-galaw niya sa upuan. I was wondering if she wants to pee at pinipigilan nalang dahil may magsasalita sa harap or she was amazed too in that guy?

Parang bigla akong nainis dun pero halos masamid naman ako sa sarili kong laway dahil sa sinabi ni Shane

"Kyaaah Lie, I couldn't believe it!!!" Pabulong nitong sigaw habang pinapaypayan ang sarili na tila naiinitan kahit alam kong full naman ang aircon dito sa loob

"Oh my gosh! It's so hot here Lie! Siya yung sinasabi ko kanina sayong cute na guy but hell? I was wrong! He's not cute because he's so hot!" Pabulong ngunit patili niyang sinabi

"What a great coincidence, kaklase pa pala natin siya. My badnessss!!! Ang gwapo niya!!" Sabi ni Shane. Halos tuyuan ako ng laway dahil sa narinig ko.

Tinignan kong muli yung lalaki. Parang biglang nagrambulan ang mga alaga ko sa tiyan dahil sa sinabi ni Shane. S-Siya ba yun?

Oh my goodness pangit yan ehh!! Sa tingin ko kailangan ko nang ipatingin ang mata ko dahil sa komplikasyon. Pangit yan pero bakit iba yung napuna ko kanina? I didn't say anything right? Wala akong sinabing gwapo siya diba?

Halos magaya ko na ang ginagawa ni Shane na pagpaypay sa sarili dahil maging ako ay naiinitan na din

"I am Kian Luis Asuncion" He said...

And then next thing I knew umupo na siya sa upuan niya na nasa harap lang din naman. I blinked multiple of freaking times para makumpirma kung totoo iyong nakita ko pero kampante na siyang nakaupo sa harapan na parang walang nangyari

Really?? Yun na yon? There's no age? Hobby? Or his whereabouts? Wala talaga? Sure na yon? Even his gender hindi manlang ba niya sasabihin o kukumpirmahin if he's a gay or what?

"Hmm, he doesn't want to share something about himself huh" Sabi ni Miss Dela Cuesta habang hindi pa din makapaniwala na bigla na lamang umupo ang estudyante niya matapos banggitin ang pangalan

"Pa-mysterious effect?" Saad naman ng isa. Na-realize ko naman agad yung sinabi niya kaya nalawa ako ng bahagya. Akala mo naman hottie, ang pangit naman, eww.

At take note!!! Kahit pagbali-baliktarin at gawin mo pang triangle ang anggulo ng mundo, hindi ko pa din magugustuhan ang lalaking 'to

I raised my brow to them at tumayo na ako papunta sa harap. I stand straight aiming my good pose in front. I'm the Queen and I should act like one

"Just focus on the gorgeous girl in front of you. I am Nathalie Chanell Buenaventura—the heiress of BRIA University and the other company or business that was owned by my family. We are belong to respected people here in the Philippines so you should do the same for me inside and outside of this school"

"I don't want to hear my name effortlessly so you should do something to sound like it was important thing in the whole world. By the way, I'm 17 years of old and the Queen of this university so anyone who will try to clash me, I will bury you all alive" I said proudly. And when I looked at them one by one, their jaws almost dropped just because of what I said

Mas lalo namang kumunot ang nuo nito dahil sa tanong ko "PU-MI-LA" Sabi niya ulit at inisa-isa pa

"Hello, Nathalie Chanell Buenaventura. Nakalimutan mo na ba? Sa Monday pa papasok si Manong Dante" Wika nito tukoy niya sa tagapagsilbi naming tatlo sa canteen na 'to. Ugali ni Shane 'tong ganito eh tsk.

Oh my goodness, I forgot that thing. I stand up para umorder na kaya naman sumingit ako sa mga pumipila. Hindi naman sila makapag-protesta because I have a power to do this one

It was as if suddenly exploded what I was holding back because of what he said. I was embarrassed, he humiliated me in front of these ugly people like him at sa tingin niya'y palalagpasin ko siya? No fucking way! Parang biglang lumabas ang arte at pagka-maldita ko sa katawan dahil sa walang modo at squatter na lalaking ito

"Kilala mo ba kung sino ang binabangga mo, ugly creature?" Tinaasan ko pa ito ng kilay pagkatapos kong masabi iyon

Pero tinignan lang ako nito na parang wala akong kwentang tao "Pinagsasabihan lang kita pero mukhang ikaw pa ang galit. Yes I maybe ugly but look at yourself first!"

"And for additional information, I may be snob but I'm not rude like you. So tell me, where's your manners?" Pang-iinsulto nito kaya naman sa asar ko ay nilapitan ko ito

"AKO PA TALAGA ANG PANGIT SA ATING DALAWA HUH?" Walang awat kong sigaw

"REMEMBER THIS DAY! AND I SWEAR, YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS" Tugon ko kasama ng matalim kong tingin sa kaniya at dali-daling umalis
