Sebastian and Rachel were in their apartment after visiting with Sweet Serenity who seemed to be improving every day. It had been a long month and a half since her birth. Rachel longed to take her home, and was definitely hard watching other parents taking their own miracles home.

Rachel: Seb, I want Serenity home.

Sebastian: Soon, babe.

Rachel whined. " No I want her home now. I want the old Sebastian who would take her and let's run away. "

Sebastian sighed. He knew how she felt, and understood it was harder on Rachel. He got up to place Rachel on his lap, kissing her cheek.

Sebastian: You know we can't do that. You know I'd do anything for you, but that I can't do. I want her home too, but we have to be patient and let Serenity grow and get healthy.

Rachel: I'm a bad mother.

Sebastian: No...you're an AMAZING mother. At least you haven't walked away like some other parents in the NICU. I know she isn't mine by Blood, but she's my daughter as well as yours.When she does get home, she will be Daddy's little girl. Speaking of, I have an idea.

Rachel: Uh oh this can't be good. *Rachel teased*

Sebastian: Whatever. Anyways, as I was saying, I think it would be a great homecoming for Serenity to come home to her family, her mommy and daddy married..

Rachel: Sebastian Smythe, are you saying we should get married before Serenity comes home? So soon?

Sebastian: Would that be so bad? Something small, and then renew when Serenity comes home. I want to marry you.

Rachel: Sebastian, are you doing this because you want us to be a family or to keep Jesse out?

Sebastian sighed, "Both.  I want her to be legally ours, plus I can't imagine life without you girls. Let's go do it! " he pleaded.

Rachel thought about it. She honestly loved Sebastian, and making their tiny family legal would be great. She sometimes wished that she and Jesse could be civil, but in the end it was Sebastian who has been there every step of the way.

Rachel: Well...if we do this I've got to call Kurt and Blaine?

Sebastian groaned, "Do we need to invite Lady face? He will demand to plan the wedding, and put it off longer. Plus his fashion looks like something off a Wild Pride float. *shudders*

Rachel chuckled. " He is my best friend. Plus we need witnesses. I want my best friends and my future hubby to get along. Plus I don't want to just get married at City Hall. I want a real wedding.

Sebastian: Fine...how about if I pull strings and we get married at the Gershwin Theater. I am rich and powerful, after all.

Rachel: Oh my Gawd are you serious?? I've got to call Kurt?! I love you, I love you..by the way did I mention that I love you?

Sebastian: How about showing me? *wagging his eyebrows, seductively*

Rachel: Oh I will, but later after I call Blaine. * kissing her fiancé. *

Rachel felt like the luckiest girl in the world. All that is missing are her dads, mom, and most importantly, Serenity.

Rachel got on her phone to call Kurt.

Kurt: Hello Diva, is everything OK? Is Serenity alright? Has Meerkat flown the coop?

Rachel: I'm fine, Serenity is fine, and Sebastian is still here. We have news. Sebastian and I are getting married.

Kurt: Say what now?! Oh Diva, did you fall and hit your head?

Rachel: Kurt, be nice. As I was saying we plan to get married soon with something small, and then bigger celebration when the baby comes home. We need witnesses, so was hoping you and Blaine would be there? Thad is coming too, I think.

Kurt: Where is this disaster, I mean, glorious event taking place?

Rachel: Well not sure, but Sebastian mentioned the Gershwin.

Kurt: Shut up?! We will be there. We must go shopping!

Rachel: I love you, Kurtsie! Blaine too.

Blaine: I love you too, my Maria.

Rachel: Blaine? How long have you been listening?

Blaine: The whole time. I am so happy for you both, although never imagined Smythe as a family man. We will see you soon. Give Serenity a kiss. You both deserve happiness. My Maria is leaving me.

Rachel: You will always be my Tony.

Blaine: My Maria 

*After hanging up, Rachel went to find Sebastian who managed to make dinner while she was on the phone. Is there Anything he couldn't do.

Rachel: Oh my what is this?

Sebastian: Making my lady dinner. Let's eat.

Rachel: Blaine are in. And I feel like the luckiest woman. I love you.

Sebastian: I love you too. *pulling Rachel in for a long passionate kiss.*

The couple sat down to eat, small talk, and Rachel decided to do something special. She grabbed his hand leading him to the living room. As Sebastian smiled and sat down on the sofa, Rachel walked over to the piano.

Once the song ended, Sebastian walked over to Rachel kissing her.

Sebastian: You're mine, too. Its time to show you.

Rachel: Mmm, promise? *she moaned as Sebastian trailed a sea of kisses on her neck*

Sebastian: Promise.

Their kisses led to a heavy make out session. Just as Sebastian was going to take Rachel to their bedroom to continue, the phone rang.

Sebastian: Don't answer it, Please?

Rachel: What if it's about Serenity?

Sebastian: Fine. Damn someone always cockblocking me.

Rachel: We will resume babe.

Rachel picked up the phone.

Rachel: Hello?

Nurse Rebecca: Oh Ms. Berry great news. Serenity is doing amazing, she's playing with her feet and toes, so adorable. But reason for my call is because she is doing so well, we're moving her to an open bassinet. Plus the doctor has mentioned if Serenity continues to improve and no major problems, she maybe ready to go home within the next week or two. We will discuss more when you visit, but thought I'd share.

Rachel's eyes welled. "Oh my goodness my baby coming home!!"

Nurse Rebecca: Very promising. Congrats. You're Serenity is a miracle.

Rachel: Thank you, Rebecca. I've got to tell Sebastian. Please give her a kiss and promise to be there in the morning.

N. Rebecca: I will. Both of you sleep well. See you soon.

*call ends*

Rachel hugged Sebastian. " Our baby maybe coming home sooner! "

Sebastian choked and hugged Rachel back. He couldn't believe that soon his family will be complete. Sebastian led Rachel to their bedroom, and Rachel definitely kept her promise to make it up to Sebastian.

Hours later, they collapsed into a blissful sleep. Both happy that their family and dreams will be happening any day now. As long as no one tries to ruin it. Jesse.
