These days we are all surrounded by voices.
Telling us who and what we should be.
Constantly feeling us with doubt.
Telling us we are not good enough.

These voices keep us awake.
Society is becoming a bunch of fakes wearing masks,
Hiding the world from their  true selves.

People are discriminated for their appearances,
People are discriminated for their sexuality,
People are discriminated for something as simple as their skin,
People are discriminated for their religious beliefs,
People are discriminated  for their gender,
People are discriminated for being themselves.

Everyone is being discriminated for not fitting into what others deem fit.
Forgetting that no one is perfect and we shouldn't have to be.

War and chaos everywhere,
Everyone is scattered around the battle field,
Fighting for their own voice to stand out.

We lack unity.

Everyone is constantly questioning the path they decided to take.

Shots are fired.

Can we take a moment and try to give everyone a voice?
Why does everyone discriminate?
Why is society this way?
What's our problem?
Why can't we all be united?

I wish we all could stop and try to understand each other.

The battle line is drawn.

Voices keep us awake.
