*Jade's p.o.v*

It was a really long day. After I done teaching Anna 'something' I headed back home of should I say Alex picked me up from Anna's house.

"Go get changed, I will prepare dinner." Alex kissed my forehead gently. He knows very well how to calm me down and this gentle kiss of his on my forehead does the job.

I rushed upstairs and stripped down my clothes. As I removed my bra leave my top body bare.

I slowly turn my back towards the mirror and stared at my bare back which had Angel Wings beautifully tattooed from my shoulders down near my vertebrae.

If you are wondering if I got my back tattooed then, yes I did. I know I'm too 'young' for a tattoo but hey! I don't even remember how I got the tattoo.

I just know how I got the tattoo but don't have any memories about it. (If that made any sense at all.)

I got this nearly 4 years ago. It was like one morning you wake to see two Angel Wings on your back along with those disgusting scars, bruises and wounds. And you have no idea about how? When? And where you got them from?

But later I was told by Larry that he was the one to who drew the tattoo on my back. Larry was my Alex's best friend since they were in diapers and he was a good friend plus more like a brother to me. He and Alex had been there for me when ever I needed someone.

He owned a tattoo shop so you can call him a pro in the case of tattoo making.

Honestly it wasn't his fault instead it was mine. The night, hours before I got this tattoo, I suffered from serious panic attack. And so I totally acted irrational and forced him or maybe begged him to get a tattoo till the extent he couldn't say no anymore. Finally I got the tattoo but I couldn't remember anything due to the panic attack.

I jumped to the shower and let the tieredness flow down my body along with the warm water running down my body.

I got out and and put on my PJs didn't bother to blow dry my hair. I ran downstairs and sat on the kitchen counter while Alex made dinner.

"Need some help?" I asked.

"Nope. Almost done." He said then turned towards me and frowned. "Jade Miller, aren't you even a bit concerned about your health. Why the hell on earth did you not dry your hair?" He scolded.

Then he rushed upstairs and came back in a minute with a towel, blow dry, and comb.

"Come here." He said pissed.

I walked towards him as he tries to dry excess water with the towel and then starts blow drying. It's not something new tho. Alex has always been more like mother than a brother. He was always there for me.

It was like as if he was a whole family to me. He took care of me like a mother, spoiled me like a father, fight with me like a brother. I actually didn't need anything else in life.

Then we sat and started having dinner. Actually Anna and Xavier were kind enough to offer me dinner but I love having dinner with Alex.

Alex never actually enjoyed his life all he ever thought about was me. He was always worried about me. He never goes out with his friends. I don't even remember the last time he had a girlfriend.

Well he was worried that if he got a girlfriend I would be left alone.

"So how was school?" Alex asked pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah it was fine....made a new 'best friend' (I guess)....got into a fight with the bullies." I said. "How was your day?" I asked.

"Mmhh...yeah....pretty much boring." He replied pouting.

"Ok guess what? I think I might get a promotion soon." Alex said with his face brighten up.

"How? You just joined the company today." I was confused.

"Yeah...but I have been working for this company for a while...it's just a different branch...and the CEO of my previous branch praised alot about me that the CEO of this branch was very happy...yet he wanted to see my work for himself." Alex said all excited showing all 32 teeth that he had.

Mmmhhh...well actually 30... because he lost one of his tooth when he fell from a tree and another when his bully Jane (female bully..lol) punched him so hard that his tooth fell of his palms.....

The whole dinner we kept talking about random stuffs...this was kind of fun. It was always like he was the only person I talked to the whole day.

After dinner I jumped straight to the bed and let myself drift away as darkness took over.

I look at myself. I was wearing a white dress. I look around to find nothing but a beach right infront of me. It felt as if the water was calling me. I didn't think about anything else and just let myself into the water.

I was floating. My eyes closed as I felt myself floating in the warm water.....I slowly opened my eyes. And then I noticed it was not water anymore but

BLOOD......

I snapped....I look at my arms my body everywhere to see only blood...

My white dress was no longer white but blood red. Fear took over me.

I turn around and the next thing I know is that   I was no longer in the ocean or blood but on land.

Then I noticed 4 bodies lying on the ground cold and dead. There were 1 women and 3 men. I rushed to the woman to take a good look at her.

As I turned the woman....I froze...its was like the my world fell apart.... I let out a scream of sorrow... I kept sobbing and trying to wake her up...but I knew she was dead..

As I sobbed one of the men got up stood of his feet and growned.

"YOU DID THIS..."

I snapped open my eyes to find myself on my bed. I could feel my baby hairs glued to my forehead due to sweat. I rushed to was the bathroom an threw up....

I then walked towards the sink and was my face and stared at myself in the mirror. I could see the water dipping down my face as I was panting. My heart ached as I thought about it. My lungs tighten making me suffocated more and more. My body shivering from limb to limb.

Don't think about it...Stop! Think about something else...Stop! I mentally slap myself.

I closed my eyes to distract myself. My mind slowly drifted away....

A sudden image of Xavier appeared infront of me. His blue eyes intensely looking at me. His eyes help so many feelings his lips couldn't let out. His comforting smile.

The next thing I that appeared infront of me was he standing naked only with a towel around his waist. That Greek God body, the perfect V line, that tanned body. I snapped myself from my thoughts as I realized the reality.

Wtf was I even thinking? Shit! Fuck my life.. No Jade....no....you can't let your self get attached to some random guy you just met. Get a grip on yourself. It's useless, he is gonna hurt you at the end anyways. I consulted myself.

No matter what I would never trust anyone anymore, nor let myself get attached to anyone.

I will never fall in love with anyone. That's  a vow that I have been, and will always keep....
