Was the line Harvinder Bajaj (Kapoor) used to say to his childhood neighbour and 'friend' Shanaya Rathod(Sinha), every time they met. He loved annoying Shanaya, and has been doing this from their childhood to adolescence without stop. Harvinder runs his own matrimonial company "The Jodi Maker" while Shanaya finishes her Degree in psychology. Like every desi parents after their daughter got their parents,  they want them married.  Hence started the nagging to get married.

A thought then crosses Shanaya's mind, why not seek vengeance? The next morning Shanaya tells her parents that she is ready to get married but only if Harvy finds the the potential groom for her.

Harvy is shell shocked hearing this but agrees after the pressure of his parents and Shanaya's. Shanaya then starts rejecting every suitor Harvy shows, leaving him pulling his hair out of frustation.

Meanwhile Harvy falls in love with a kindergarden teacher Tara (Fernandez) and Shanaya falls for her best friend's dentist Ambar (Zafar) who happens to be siblings.

Harvy tries to set up Shanaya with Ambar but Ambar thinks Shanaya and Harvy are together,because of which, problem arises in Harvy's ways when he tries to woo tara for himself.

A/N tbh I'd love to see sona and ranbir in this kinda story than a romantically opposite each other type. What do you say?
