I have questions
I have answers.
You gave me puzzles
I tried to solve them.
I gave you ties
you tried to knot them.
I knelt down
to bring you up..
I tried to heal your scars by
rhyming those emotions
to make them sweeter with my words.
And look what you did to me...
you trashed the paper
and made a ball,
threw out of the window
into the lawn..
And you think I'm the one
who walked away!!
What would I have done to stay?
And now looking back
I am grateful I "walked away"
Like you I had no one to talk to..
but unlike you
I never became someone's distraction.
You gained attention.
I gained wisdom.
And now you say that I have changed!!
Baby I am still the same
but with a more solid heart & brain..,
