Balloons were bursted.
Woofers were set.
Everyone danced
like there was no end.
Everyone was jolly
& had a great fun.

It was a moment to capture
when time was on a run..
We played like crazy
so the kids could envy us!

Amidst the darkness of the room,
only my birthday candles
were illuminating this room.

I blew the candles,
cut the cake.
As I was turning around,
someone smeared it
on my face..

I looked up
and licked my face
making a goofy face..

I took a hearty bite
before throwing the rest
on my friend
which was looking at me
with huge surprise.

The cake war ended
with a big smile..

When we looked
around the house
we laughed
until we lost the sight
and got watery eyes..

The room was more dirty
than a garbage can...
But filled with more happiness
than a dumpster
could ever contain in itself.

With our stupidity
we turned my special day
to a memorable one..

We filled the dark room
with our radiating smiles.
No one seems to care
to switch on the lights..

Only the occasional camera flashes
stole our attention for a while
as we were having a gala time..!

Watching the world
from my tv set
I realised
that friends are true treasures of life.

When I look at the world
on the verge of war..
When I see politicians
signing nuclear deals with pride..
When they say
we have high ambitions
with less time.
In that little moment
I see the stupidity
of the intellectuals
with respect to mine.

I'm nowhere close
to their miserable minds!!

Instead of weapons
can't we deal in burgers?
Why can't we have cake wars
and splash jelly beans
or win pillow fights
when we are bored
rather than having bloodshed
to fulfill our mediocre goals.

It's pretty easy to learn.
Ask a naughty kid
to tie both the laces of your shoe.
And learn from him
how to run for your life
when others are looking for you.

It really doesn't cost much
to be annoying..
Believe me its worth a try.
You just need to be a kid
and forget your crooked minds.

Only then you will understand
a simple fact
that we all are humans
both white & black.

Not a piece of food
to be cut & sliced
just like that!!
