Dream #1

June 25, 2019

I was a princess.

Just by looking down at my silky pink/purple ruffly, dress, and heels, I could tell. I felt a weight on my head and knew that it was a tiara.

I somehow knew, even without looking at it, that this tiara was made of glass, embellished with diamonds and crystals of soft pastel colors.

I looked around, knowing where I was, but at the same time, having no clue where I was.

I was standing on a branch of a tree.

But I didn't know it at first.

The branch was wide enough that I had mistaken it for a hallway floor. It was polished so I could see my reflection.

I knew what I looked like, but I didn't.

So I looked.

I had long dark brown, almost black curls. The tiara balanced on my head.

I was tall, with long legs, arms, and fingers. I had wide eyes. They were an impossible shade of crystal clear blue. (for the record, my eyes are NOT blue, and I look almost nothing like what Princess/dream me looks like)

I had light skin and soft pink lips.

My skin was flawless, not a single thing wrong, or unusual.

I also seemed to be sixteen or something

I took a step on the "hallway floor."

I had absolutely no problem standing on it, even with heels.

I looked up and almost gasped.

I was standing on the branch of a tree.

It was a massive and beautiful tree. The branches stretched out as far as I could see.

In between each of the branches were small pockets.

In between each pocket, there were small lakes of crystal clear water.

The water was blue so light, it looked white.

Reflected in the water were scenes. Images if you will.

But when I looked around, the images reflected in the pure water were nowhere to be found.

I probably should've been creeped out, as I was alone, and there seemed to be no exit.

But I wasn't.

I somehow knew that I was safe. Okay.

The images didn't show my life, they showed the lives of others.

A boy playing in the mud with his dog. I could hear his laughs and the barks of the dog.

A girl, learning how to weave. I heard her singing.

A knight in training wielding a sword at a training dummy. I heard the dull metallic twang! of metal on wood, and the grunts of effort from the knight.

A king, signing papers by candlelight. I heard his tired sigh as he worked, and the soft scribbles of the feathered pen on old paper.

I just stood in the midst of it all, waiting.

For what I didn't know, but I knew that I should wait.

And so I did.

There were so many branches, and I couldn't see the end of any of them, but I still tried. To no avail.

In an instant, there were boys standing on the branches.

The images were still there, but my eyes were glued to the boys.

Each one was handsome in his own way.

One had blonde hair with dark blue eyes.

Another had ebony hair with warm green eyes.

The second one I saw drew my attention.

They bowed to me, and so I curtsied in return

After I rose, they turned towards each other and drew their swords.

I remained calm, knowing what they were doing.

They were fighting for my hand in marriage.

They bowed to their opponents and charged.

My dream changed.

The battle was over, and only two boys remained the blonde one and the ebony haired one.

The rest were standing off to the side with a look of rightful shame on their faces.

They had failed their kingdom by not winning my hand.

The battle between the two boys began.

They were both skilled with the sword.

They were tied in skill and strength, so it came down to who made one mistake that would cost them their kingdom.

My dream rippled and changed again.

The ebony haired boy stood before me and dropped to one knee, holding one hand out.

"Will you marry me?" He asked.

His voice was nice, deep, but not too deep, soft and soothing, and I could see in his eyes that he was kind-hearted and passionate.

I looked down at him, smiled and said, "Yes."

I took his hand and he slipped a ring on my ring finger.

It was a simple ring, made of obsidian with scattered diamonds, and a single moonstone in the middle. The effect was of a night sky, with a beautiful milky moon.

In my eyes, it was beautiful, and I was glad that it wasn't a massive ring that was overly fancy.

I woke up.

THE END

Yup, that was it, I know, my dreams are weird but trust me, there will be one that will make you question my intelligence and sanity. Keep in mind that this is all a dream and I honestly have no idea where they come from, so yeah, bai!
