It was 12:00 in the afternoon. I was walking through the woods with my dog.

"Come on Bella, hurry up!"

I dragged her along the dirt road by her leash. We soon came upon a clearing. All was silent except for the quiet whispers of the wind. There weren't even any birds chirping, or squirrels hustling and bustling about. Then Bella seemed to have scented something and dragged me to the center of the clearing.

"What did you find, Bella?"

She looked up at me and barked. "What is it, girl?" All of a sudden tons of animals streamed out from the bushes and padded over to us. I stared in awe at the number of animals approaching me. I tried to back away a little, only to find myself face-to-face with a fox. It stared at me like it knew me. Then it spoke.

"We have awaited your arrival for quite awhile now. Please, follow me."

My jaw dropped open. That fox had just spoken to me.

"Ugh, come on! We don't have all day!"

He padded away, leaving me standing there, speechless. Bella tugged on the leash, wanting to go farther. I let her drag me toward the fox, who was still padding along the grass.

After awhile of walking we came across a pool of water. It was shining like the stars at night.

"Drink this." He ordered me.

All I could think of was to obey, so I bent down and cupped a handful of water in my hands and sipped it up. It tasted amazing! It was so refreshing and cold. As it went down my throat I could feel it moistening it up. I went for more but the fox stopped me.

"No, only one sip. Now wait."

So I waited. And waited. Until finally the fox spoke.

"Look into the water."

I strained my neck forward, staring into the clear water. I gasped in astonishment. I was a wolf! I reared back, flopping backward and doing a summersault. The fox just stood there, gazing at me. Bella padded up to me.

"There, now you can understand me too."

She saw that I was morally terrified and spoke again reassuringly. 

"Don't worry, you won't stay like this forever, just when you need too. Like if you were in trouble, you would turn into a wolf. We gave you this power because we need to speak with you."

All the animals then padded over and surrounded me. They all spoke at once like a chorus.

"Welcome. You are the chosen one, the one who will deliver this message to your people. You must tell them to stop destroying our homes, for we will have nowhere to live." And with that, they all disappeared, leaving me there speechless once more. Then I woke up.

whoo! This was an interesting one! What's funny about this dream is last night I watched "Over The Hedge" (which is a great movie by the way). It's about a 'family' of animals that get their home destroyed by humans and they try to reclaim it XD. Also I did not tweak this. Bye!!!
