Narrator's Pov

"In this world, do you guys think that you are the only dream knights?" JB scoffed as he looked at Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook . They were all gathered at the park, not that far away from Areum's house while facing each other.

"H-How do you know who we are? Dont tell me... You guys are too?" Jimin blurted, lips parted in shock.

"Yea we used to." Mark answered while placing both of his hands inside his pocket.

"Dont try too hard for your master's happiness." JB warned Taehyung with a serious tone. His head shaking in disappointment. Taehyung slightly tilt his head, not understanding what JB was implying.

"We were also born from the tears of despair just like you guys. And you guys ... will disappear with the tears of happiness." The side of JB's lips lift, forming a smirk.

"Disappear?" Jungkook blurted in confusion.

"What do you mean by that?" Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows.

"Once Areum shed a tear of happiness... You guys will disappear." JB answered. Jungkook turned his head towards Jimin, shocked to hear what JB said. While Jimin was looking down as he was also feeling the same as Jungkook.

None of them knew that they will disappear after making Areum happy. All they know was that their job is to make Areum happy but they didn't know that they would vanish into thin air forever by doing so.

"Well there's only one way not to disappear and that is ..." JB suddenly added causing Jimin to lift his head up to look at him. His eyes show some hope.

"Betraying Areum first."

"And you guys will become a human." JB spoke.

"What?" Jimin stared at JB, feeling even more lost. Never for once, did he thought of hurting Areum.

"Wait so now you guys are no longer dream knights?" Jungkook asked while looking at Mark and Youngjae.

"Of course we are not." Youngjae let out a small smile, surprising Jimin and Jungkook. Both of them then slowly turned their head to look at Taehyung who was being quiet this whole time.

"And what would happen if we leave Areum? What would happen to her?" Taehyung finally spoke while staring through JB's eyes.

When those questions leave from Taehyung's lips, memories start to replay in JB's head. JB lowered his gaze as he could feel his tears threatening to fall when he recall those painful memories. His gaze darken and turned cold before shifting it up and meeting with Taehyung's gaze.

"You guys will never see her forever again..." JB coldly spoke. His words immediately cause Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung's heart to sank. Their eyes widen, lips parted in shock as they stared at JB.

With heavy hearts, Taehyung and the boys leave the park, leaving JB, Mark and Youngjae behind as they head back to the caravan. None of them was talking since their head was full of thoughts. They need time to think as what JB told them was shocking to them.

Time passes and it was already night time. However, Taehyung was restless as JB's words kept replaying in his head. That's when he decided to find him. He need more explanation.

JB was practicing his dance hard. He was sweating profusely and panting hard. The scene of his crush, the person who he loved and the person who he was assigned to take care of and make her happy as his duty of a dream knight, jumping down from the han river bridge right in front of his face.

He couldn't forget what was her expression after betraying her when he left her when she needed him the most. It was full of hurt, sadness and despair. It was too much for her until she decided to kill herself.

Just as he was about to reach for her, it was too late...

Soon the door barge open, causing JB to turn his head towards the door to see an angry Taehyung walking in front of him.

"Lets have a talk." Taehyung glare at him.

JB turned off the music that was playing before looking back at him, waiting for Taehyung to continue what he wanted to say.

"If we leave Areum, we won't be able to see each other again. What do you mean by that?" Taehyung's gaze bored through JB, hoping to find an answer to that sentence.

"If you are curious, try it. You will know it immediately." JB smirked.

"I don't want to hear that crap!" Taehyung gritted in anger.

"In order to prevent something from vanishing, there might be a way." JB teased.

"Just stop beating around the bush and just say it already! What do you mean we won't be able to see each other again!" Taehyung yelled before grabbing JB's collar tightly. He was already losing his patience, seeing how JB not answering to his question.

"Either you die or Areum die. Its either one of those." JB coldly spoke, his gaze locking with Taehyung's.

Taehyung's gaze immediately soften as he slowly let go of JB's collar. His body soon start to tremble in fear as he make his way to the door after hearing what JB said.

"Are you going to be different from me? No because you will choose the exact decision like me." JB muttered to himself as he watch Taehyung leave.

What I did was right. JB thought while he clench his fist tight in anger. A drop of tear escaped from his eyes before rolling down his cheek.

The Next Day

"Hey guys!" Areum brightly called when open the caravan, ready to go to school. However, her smile dropped when none of them was outside.

"Maybe they are already at school." Areum muttered to herself before making her way to school alone.

However little did Areum know, Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook were silently watching her from the tall hill that is located behind the caravan.

"Areum is alone now. What should we do?" Jungkook worriedly asked, his gaze never leave from Areum.

Jimin let out a sigh in frustration. " I don't know... I really don't know."

"Hyung what should we do?" Jungkook turned his head to the left to look at Taehyung who was standing beside him, his arms were crossed across his chest while his gaze glued on Areum.

Taehyung slowly turn his head to look at Jungkook. Taehyung was also in a state of dilemma. Without saying anything, he turn his back around before walking away, leaving them behind.

"Hyung~ Let's go together!" Jungkook quickly followed after Taehyung but soon stop his track when he realise Jimin was not following.

"Jimin hyung! Aren't you coming?" Jungkook looked at Jimin with his eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"No... I want to be alone. Give me time to think." Jimin softly say while throwing a small smile before turning his body around and walking in the opposite direction.

Jungkook's eye soften seeing how troubled both of his hyungs was. Jungkook let out a sigh before raising his head to look at the bright blue sky. Knowing that both Taehyung and Jimin need some time alone, Jungkook decide to take a stroll along the park before taking a seat on an empty bench.

"You looked stress." A voice suddenly spoke, causing Jungkook to look up to see Mark and Youngjae standing in front of him.

"What do you know about it..." Jungkook let out a sigh. JB's words replayed in his mind.

"We know how you feel, we were in your shoe before. You were surprise about the truth right?" Mark calmly asked.

"But after knowing there are so many fun and great things out in the world, we finally understand. How great it is to be a human." Youngjae smile.

"Do you want to experience how fun it is? We can show you." Mark let out a warm smile while stretching his hand out for Jungkook to reach.

Jungkook stared at Mark's hand. Hesitation was written all over his face. He was stuck in the middle. He was scared but at the same time curious. After contemplating for a while, Jungkook reach out his hand to hold Mark's hand. Mark let out a smile before pulling Jungkook to stand.

"I'm sure you will have so much fun there." Youngjae beamed will placing his arms over Jungkook's shoulder as they make their way out of the park.

Hey guys, sorry for updating this few months.☹️ To be honest, I don't really have much motivation to carry on writing this book as I felt that this book is not as good as my Jungkook ff. 😔 Beside I have already thought of writing another ff (hope it will turn out good).

But don't worry I will still carry on writing this book since I do not like to give up half way. But I wont be updating often or maybe I will, based on you guys :) So if you guys want me to update more, feel free to comment and votee! It will motivate me to carry on writing🙂
