The Factory
Date of dream: Unknown - oldest vivid dream.
Setting: A factory alike the image above (from Monsters Inc.). But instead of the rail which carries Mike and Sully's door, it's a platform hanging from the ceiling - and the room is dark and unlit, but not so much that I can't see anything. It felt like being suspended above a bottomless pit with unlimited space above my head.
Point of view: Third person, seeing from outside my body, but it changed throughout.
Music: I think School Rooftop (Bird Sounds) would be playing gently in the background, fading in and out. It's sounds of childhood, and the friend I was with in it is my oldest and dearest friend currently, even if we drifted apart. I was her first friend back in year 1 and we've stayed in the same school ever since - and will continue to do so heading into college. ❤️🩹
Class: Main.
Characters: Me and an old friend.
Dream levels:
-> Intensity ~ 7/10
-> Clarity ~ 9/10
-> Dimensions ~ 8/10
---
My friend and I are running down the platform, either racing to the end or being chased by a fox (details lost).
At the end, I reach a strange lift and doors leading to a staircase - but there's no walls, just a floating lift and random pair of doors with nothing behind them.
I challenge my friend for a race - me via the stairs, her down the lift. She agrees and I run through the doors, emerging in a basic stairwell you'd find at a large car park. I get to the bottom and hurry out another set of doors, emerging on an identical platform to the one I'd come from.
I waited for the lift to open (it was already there? But it was like the actual room hadn't arrived).
The doors open, and it goes into first person - I look inside and see my friend has disappeared, only a pile of clothes and possibly some blood laying on the floor. (Again, unsure on whether it was just blood on the lift, just clothes, or both).

Then I remember waking up and hearing a loud blaring beep in my head for a few seconds and sitting up in shock.
---
Notes: It was pretty scary once I woke up, and the dream's stuck with me for years. It's the oldest dream I can remember, and so vivid that I can picture everything really clearly - apart from those few mentioned details.
Overall rating: Pretty solid dream - detailed in memory, mostly makes sense, and pretty clear with what goes on. Although I was scared when I woke up, I'm pretty fond of this odd dream.
