A lot's changed since my last post here. Some of you may know, I've started working on comic books over the past several months. And here are my latest characters to soon get a comic, a pair of half sisters named Mary and Claire.

Mary (on the right) is a Nephilim, half angel on her father's side. As such, she's sweet and selfless to a fault. She doesn't want to inconvenience anyone or step on their toes, so she regularly gets taken advantage of. You could shove her to the ground and literally walk all over her and she would be the one apologizing for "getting in your way".

Claire (on the left) is pretty much the complete opposite. She's half demon on her father's side, making her short tempered, rude, and violent. She trusts almost no one, she's quick to threaten and quicker to punch. Try and shove her down and you'll be lucky if all she does is punch your face.

These two girls may be literally as different as Heaven and Hell, but ultimately they need each other to make it. Each being half human they are stranded in the mortal realm and will need each other's skills. Mary has the people skills and is easy to get along with, and Claire won't allow anyone to rip off or take advantage of them. Mary has magical and spiritual power while Claire has inhuman physical abilities. It won't be easy, but these half sisters will have to accept each other's differences to live in the human world, while being confronted by physical and spiritual problems regularly.
