Natalie was slowly decaying but she kept on doing it,  ignoring the fact.

Menzi was behaving so kindly with her that she was getting paranoid of the love given to her which she was literally tossing away. 

She ate some food in front of her aunt.
Headed to the bathroom and puked.

This was a familiar routine to her from days now. 

'maybe Menzi is a good person and I should stop recalling the past and let him give a sincere chance'
She thought to herself

Soon she received a text from Menzi
*"meet me outside, you can bring your dear cycle too if you want"*

She smiled so hard , replied
*"OK,  I would be there in half an hour"*

She picked her beloved cycle and ran from the house before anyone noticing her move. 

They peddled and soon Menzi halted his movement.

Natalie was amazed and worried for him simultaneously.
"what happened Menzi. Are you fatigued"

"Nat, yeah. My heart hurts. I love you so much and you don't love me back"
He sobbed out.

She was so concerned for him
"I love you Menzi but as a best friend"

"no Nat don't deceive yourself, I know you love me the same way. I can see it clearly from your eyes"
He looked into her eyes.

Natalie was off the guard for a moment but soon took control.
"I will think about it"

Menzi didn't wanted to push her
"well,  I want to be close to you so I will not keep any secrets, I got your number from your friends. They were the one who helped me and they knew that I liked you. They were the one who talked about our story to my mother and she was more than delighted. They were the ones who spread lies about we being in a relationship in our society area and we worked together on it. Just so you can be close to me. I needed you so bad that I couldn't control myself from doing these things"

"wh-whaaaat!!! "

The ground beneath Natalie was ripped apart. Her 'friends' knew that.
They did all those silly things which included a threat to her reputation
(in this case spreading of the lie).

She stood still for a moment and peddled back to her house completely ignoring the cries of her so called 'best friend'

She headed to her bedroom and burst into streams of tears.

Suddenly she received a call from Menzi, she ignored. 

'he asked me out today again. But it felt so pure, so real, so loving. I guess I  did fall in love with him too. But no he is capable of doing unprecedented harm. So I better not-'

Her thoughts were interrupted by the bang of his texts.

*" I know you felt hurt but I had to tell you in order to begin our relationship. Just see how madly in love I am with you. I  love you and you have to formally declare you are my girlfriend in front of my friends"*

*" So I reckon I love you too but I will never be your girlfriend. The reason lies in the fact that you just want to show off in front of society or in front of your friends."*
She texted back.

He blocked her as it was vividly visible to her humid eyes.

So that was her 'first love'. 

She was weeping and screaming silently till the end until she made a rule
'I will never fall in love with anyone that way'

She started exercising harmfully this time.

Fortunately, her mother came back

But seeing her daughter in this condition was a shock.

Natalie was excessively weak and looked like a skeleton indeed.

Her bones were so dangerously visible

Her body was too frail that it looked like she would break any moment. 
Her face looked like a fish.

Natalie was suffering from a heartbreak and eating disorder at the same moment.

Her mother took her to the hospital and she was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa.

Gaining every bit of strength she tried to move and exercise still hiding from her mom. 

They went to doctor again and he painlessly spoke
"your daughter has developed many medical conditions and she can die of the starvation she had done. Her body is way too young and weak for this"

Her mother let out a tear fall and devoted herself to her daughter. She changed her school, saw that she was eating properly or not and of course keeping an eye that she never do any stupid workout.

Natalie still did her workout in night and didn't eat whenever she got a chance.  The number on the scale was decreasing unrealistically.

Her mother tried to counsel her and stuff until she started going to school. 

She made friends.  Didn't give any tiny bit attention to studies or anything. She weighed her cornflakes.

participated in any form of physical activity offered, any sports, any tournaments in her school. 

And decided to never eat when she was alone since she had to eat in front of others.
