Eritria's POV

Today is sunday.

Finally our special day where we won't have any classes.

While I'm here solving Morse code, I realize that today we'll train with the girls. I check the wall clock which is pointing its bigger hand right at number 4.

"Thunder, you do know we'll have training today right?" I asked him that made him stop tapping his phone. Well I guess mobile legends again.

"Yeah, they messaged me in the groupchat, it will be in the training ground at the woods," Thunder said while still not giving me even a glance because he's too focus on the goddamn mobile game.

"Let's take a bath," I said while preparing my clothes and his. Yes, I didn't know that once you love, you'll eventually care.

I am about to head towards the bathroom when that sound keep ringing in my ear.

"Double kill, Triple kill, Maniac!" I turned to give him The look. "Let's go," I said.

"Of course," Thunder said while he immediately turned off the phone and finally followed me. Well atleast he knows my look.

Well I hate it when something else is making him not focus his attention to me. It's because all day he is focused in that game, I just can't help it.

"Ok I'll wait here," Thunder said while sitting on the toilet.

At first I don't know and how would I say it but nevermind.

"It's o-ok let's take a bath together this method takes a lot of time," I said without turning back, because your Eri is blushing like shit again.

I felt his sudden gaze at my back while slowly dipping my body in the warm water of the bathtub.

"You're not having a fever right Eri," he asked while putting his hand in my forehead and putting the other one in his to check if I do have a fever.

"Aish," I mumbled while brushing off his hand on me. "Just take a bath goddamit," I said as the fragrance of the water engulfed my sense of smell.

"Did you just curse?" Thunder said as his ash-like eyes met mine with seriousness in it.

And for the first time I stuttered infront of him, "Y-yeah what's the p-problem," I stated with nervousness in my voice, Thunder never looked at me with warning in his eyes.

"I don't want you to curse anymore," he said while his eyes are asking me what my repond is.

"Are we clear Eri?" he stated while casually sitting.

"Y-yes I won't curse anymore," I said while trying the trick Emma said when I'm in the hot seat like this. Puppy eyes.

"Perfect I hope were clear Eri," he said while I sighed in relief when he give me his signature smile with dimples out.

It's just surprising that I finally see the authorative side of Thunder, that is the things going across my mind while staring at his back. And because of his clothes I can clearly see his toned body, I never really thought that Thunder is actually the perfect guy for every girl.

I shooked my head to.let those thoughts go away. "Thunder pass on the shampoo," I said while interrupting him in making bubbles in his circled hand.

"Ok," he said while passing on the shampoo with smile in his face. His smile never fades, its always there everytime I look at him.

While I'm pouring the shampoo onto my hand my eyes landed on his white hair that has some bubbles on it. I found my hands on his head while carefully shampoo his hair. I felt his sudden movement because of my sudden action.

I myself wanted to stop but I can't. His hair was too soft as it run through my hands. "So you found a new hobby?" Thunder asks while letting me wash his hair.

I didn't respond, but I did realize that I was smiling the whole time. I don't know, I found myself being happy just by taking care of him.

The sharp arrow that pierce through the air landed right at the bulls eye.

"Nice aim Eri!" Clementine said while her emerald eyes won't leave the arrow that just hit a bulls eye. "C'mon Clementine you just did multiple bulls eye," I praise her knowing she deserve to be.

The next thing I knew is the gunshot with its thin projectiles cutting through the air while its noise reverberated in our ears and rang out far over the woods.

Emma hit the heart part of the shooting range target,the one that is formed as a human that has white lines on it. But there is a difference. This shooting target is much more advanced. It has this magnetic force behind it making the bullet stop right there to prevent accidents incase there might be people around the training ground. But to make it more safer, these bullets are made with heavy metals but inside of it is a tracker for us, students,teachers faculty members of the school.

If its fired into you within 3 meters range the tracker will analyze the data like a dash if you're a student or an outsider. If it confirms that you're a student it will eventually lower the speed and change its effect. And once that happened when the bullet reaches you it would be like a popcorn thrown at you.

But if it detects you're an outsider within that 3 meter distance the bullet will increase its speed and pressure that it can't be dodge, making a total damage on the outsider.

Mr. Levi taught us about that. I think at our 2nd week.

"Emma you did it!" Cascade said and high-fived Emma.

"Next target is the head!" Cascade stated while loading her caliber 45 with a grin plastered in her face.

Next thing I heard is the loud thump in my left side.

Norman and Thunder are currently sparring and at this point norman moved back his right foot and released it while his body turned 45 degrees and perfectly executed a roundhouse kick.

Thunder was dazed by it but quickly got back to his stance. And without wasting a second Thunder give a direct frontal kick on Norman which landed a great impact on Norman's chin. A nice powerful front kick. They both bowed down for respect and end the match with a water break.

If you are worried that they are hurting themselves. Rest assured for they are fully geared.

And if you're wondering where is Lucas, well he's up there sitting comfortably at the branch of the tree, leaning while his headphones on.

While Elijah is casually swinging 6 daggers all in the air like it's just a ball in thrown in the air while the clown is trying to catch all of it. Cascade was hell worried to him, but he insist since he said that he was trained to use it ever since he was a kid.

And just by looking at him now. He is indeed so good in it.

"Guys, I think we should eat first!" Cascade announced while showing us the pack of snacks and boxes of pizzas.

Our training was a bit longer than we thought it's already 7:00 and were here at the top of an old school bus. I never thought there was a place like this in here. I think were at the southern part of the school.

We are just eating here, talking on random topics while Cascade won't stop making jokes and Elijah won't stop teasing her.  While Norman, Lucas and Thunder sharing their worst pick up lines they ever created. While Clementine can't stop laughing just by listening to them. Everyone is having fun.

And this time I am too.

Right now I'm looking foward for tomorrow because of them.

I want to live.

"Just for once I want to be happy," I mumbled while looking at Thunder right by my side that keeps on laughing.

"Guys, what are your plans once we graduate?" Emma asked that made us fall into silence.

"Well," Cascade said while glancing on Elijah. "We are planning to live in manila and continue our dreams on there," she said while her crimson eyes are glimmering just like the stars in the sky.

"We haven't planned ours but I'll go where ever Emma goes," Norman said while smiling on Emma that is now a blushing tomato, seems like the darkness couldn't even hide it.

"Well Lucas and I agreed to build a  coffee shop for business and travel the whole world to find rare herbs which is our hobbies," Clementine said while looking right on the breathtaking glowing full moon above us.

"How about you guys?" Emma asked that made all of their head look to us.

"Only if Eritria will say yes at the end of the three month rule," Lucas said while teasing Thunder.

"I know Eri is a tough stubborn lady and its very hard pleasing her guys," he said that made them all laugh well its true I won't deny it. But then there is silence.

"But I'll do everything to make Eri look foward to our future," he stated only one sentence but made my heart skip a beat. His words never failed to reach on me and just by thinking that my lips formed a smile.

I'm looking foward to that.

Finally we got home but with tiredness all over our body. Since we hid and run in the guards that patrols. Since we already reached curfew. Yeah we didn't notice the time when were out in the woods.

But luckily we successfully gotten home without having a problem of doing a long essay on why were caught in curfew.

"Eri you go first in bed ok?" Thunder said while heading outside.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"In Lucas room I need to get something important, just wait for me here," he said while giving me a smile before he close the door.

Well then I think its ok since Lucas's room is just two rooms away from us.

I quickly head towards the bedroom to look for my cellphone when I found something that made my whole body  shiver.

Beads of cold sweat fell in my forehead even though the aircon is on, my heart won't calm down as I walk closer to confirm it.

My hands kept trembling knowing they already knew.

I reached out the letter that I would never forget.

"N-no," I muttered while my eyes widened as my deduction is proven.

A black letter with a golden seal and ribbon. They even included her photo, you motherfuckers!

I quickly open it with my trembling hands before Thunder arrives.

    Hi dear, It's been a long time. I just wanna ask something. Do you believe that happiness can make you forget things you should actually be afraid of? Because I believe.

And it seems you're forgetting something important dear. Better remember it before we remind it for you. Have a nice day Astra.

"T-they c-can't," I said to myself trying to convince myself its not happening while holding two pictures. A picture of the day where I confessed my feelings to Thunder and the second picture was just took a moment ago. A picture behind all of us when were at the top of the school bus.

"What the fuck was I even thinking," I said to myself while looking at myself in the mirror. "My goal is to find the sword to get out of this messed up world," I muttered to myself knowing the happy moments won't last long...

Again I was pulled back to reality. "That I wish to die and would never have the will to live," I said trying to clarify it to myself.

I quickly slide off the door leading to the balcony and point my index finger in the letter. I set the letter in fire leaving no evidence.

"My friends..." I muttered while I'm feeling the coldness in my soul again.

"My Thunder..." I mumbled as I felt my eyes turn back to its original state.

Eyes that are no emotions. Eyes that are windows in my soul that let's you peek on it that I have a life where I shouldn't love.

"I Eritria Astra Slayer promise to..."

"Protect all of you."
