"Now you have 10 seconds to explain it quickly," I stated.

"The car is already prepared and we will exactly be there at 7:45 a.m milady. The entrance exam will begin shortly at 8:00 a.m sharp. We still didn't identify what kind of entrance exam would you take because they change it every year. There is a total of 156 examinees that will be attending this year milady and we are always in standby when you get in the school if ever you need to collect information outside for you can't go out to the school's premises not if they allow you and the other explanation will be sent in your email for I know you'll set the 10 seconds rule again," She stated while catching her breath for speaking too fast. Well, I don't really care. As I prepare my luggage to get ready for a long trip heading to the obelian forest.

And just as she stated, we arrived exactly 7:45 a.m at our destination. I got out only to see groups of people everywhere, I think ranges to age 18-22, of course as usual they chat and laugh like there's no tomorrow, a very cheerful atmosphere. Tsk it's so noisy, which is a total opposite of the area were in. It is quite eerie here, Surrounded by large tall trees that actually cover the blue sky with the fact that we are out of nowhere in this shitty forest. And what's weird is this old looking house right in front of us.

It's already surrounded by molds and vines in its sides and gives you the thought of it collapsing down anytime soon. Is this even a school?

While analyzing the area the old woman just told, "Milady we need to go we can't stay here for too long, ages 22 above isn't allowed to be here for it is only exclusive for you examinees. I apologize if we can't stay with you until the exam ends."

"Nah that's good go, for I hate being with you," I coldly stated. A hint of sadness was seen in her violet eyes as she looks in me like I'm deeply in pain. And that's the look I despise every time I see her. "I said get your ass out of here."

And that's how I said goodbye to the old woman that was serving me for the whole 3 years.

While I'm here standing right under a tree mumbling rants of already being bored, two ladies stand before me with smiles in their faces which already pisses me.

"Hi, nice to meet you," said the girl with the green hair that is braided into two, she also have someone beside her with short curly black hair that keeps smiling at me.

"Hello, while you can call me Cascade, said the girl with the short black hair."

"I think she's not a filipina Cas," the girl with the green hair stated.

"No I'm sure, I have these instinct that she's a filipina, trust me!" The short-haired girl said while inspecting me.

"Get out of my face," I said but the short-haired girl is right. Yes, I do know how to speak tagalog but its just that I prefer English.

"Wow this lady is kind of a badass, but nevermind again I'm Cascade nice meeting you," said the girl with a black short hair I think about 5'9 and just by looking at her outfit black ripped jeans, a red crop top and other girly accessories I bet she's an outgoing and friendly person which I hate.

"Hello I'm Clementine Hernandez, we just wanted to make friends," said the green-haired girl that is wearing a white shirt over a long mint dress that is enough to cover her knees I bet she's friendly but a shy type.

"Ok, now get your ass out of here," I said, but what's weird is they just laughed.

"I think we could get along really well, hope to see you again at the end of the entrance exam," said the short-haired girl. And as their smiling, something caught everyone's attention a man, no I think it's just a hologram. Well, I guess it's about to start.

"Ok, ladies and gentlemen kindly give your belongings to these servants," and while he's explaining, in the middle of nowhere, men that are dressed like servants march as they collect our luggage.

"Don't worry it will be returned after you pass or failed the exam we'll keep it to the time being while you take your exam," the man in the hologram said.

"So now that we've taken care of your luggage let's quickly start a brief orientation of the entrance exam that you will be taking today. First let us sit, I know you had a long trip to get here".

And just a matter of seconds the servants already arranged chairs for us to seat in.

Oh, should I be shock? Nope, I don't need to be like those idiots that didn't see them coming. So I sat in the last row until the man started to explain actually it's hard to tell that he's a hologram because of the advanced technology it has, it's like the man is totally here with us.

"First of all, I am Mr. L'muel your guide for this year's entrance examination."

"Now, listen carefully examinees I won't repeat this twice, ahead of you is the phase 1, the maze."

And everyone started mumbling about the exam we'll be taking. "Okay now silence, yes our exam today would be a maze for this year, I'll be giving you some ideas to end the maze so listen carefully."

"The maze is full of orcs, demons even hollows so be careful, everything in the maze is just a hologram but it can make you feel pain so once you get to the point that you might actually die,
Everyone was dead silent and were eagerly listening at this point, the hologram would immediately take you out from the maze."

"Don't worry once you're out from the hologram your body would return to normal, those injuries you'll get would just stay at the maze so rest assured. But keep in mind once you got out of the maze you can't get back anymore, meaning better luck next year."

Some were shocked, some were nervous and a lot already doubt if they can get through it, hmm how pathetic, as I think.

"Once you encounter those demons you can't run away for once it locked its eyes to you, you have no choice but to fight it. The demons would be your doors to get out of the maze the stronger the monsters are, the nearer the door would be at the end of the maze."

"Tips, as much as possible avoid the mist in the maze, it brings a lot of trouble."

While Mr. L'muel is explaining, the other servants take those blankets that are covering something in the table, revealing a whole aisle of different weapons from guns, knives, crossbows even tons of ammo.

"You can choose any weapons you'll like to bring in the maze," said Mr. L'muel.

So those tables behind him with the blankets were our weapons, as I realized that these could actually be interesting.

"Now, now don't be shy pick your weapons quickly."

And by that everyone got their own weapons. Some picked large guns, some picked dozens of knives, some even got a samurai while the short black haired girl awhile ago picked a DAR-701-4S gun and I think a 1911 compact c3 pistol.

While the green-haired girl is picking a crossbow, well I shouldn't care.

Now let's see what I'll have while taking a glance in the weapons my eye caught something that I didn't expect they will have.

A scythe.

So that's what I picked a scythe and a caliber 45.

"And for the last explanation, you'll have these watches, just tap them and the riddle will appear, said Mr. L'muel. Then slowly letters or a riddle flashed in the given watch, now that will be your guide inside the maze. Read it carefully for it has hints for you to get out quickly."

For now, I only solved the first sentence which would probably watch out to the monsters and booby traps in the maze but the rest is still quite confusing.

"In the maze that is full of wonders,
be careful in its own dangers,
the switch goes on and off,
while the mist knows everything,
and to the bottom of my heart
may you find your way out".

"So now that you all picked your weapons and with the riddle as your guide I guess we shall begin, you only have 1 hour to complete the maze."

"Wait we should decode the riddle first," said a random girl.

"No, we don't have much time you could decode it along the way," said Mr. L'muel. A lot started to rant but rules are rules.

"At my count, you can head inside the house."

"Wait, that old grumpy house?" A stupid guy asked.

"Yes of course, that will serve as your entrance in the maze, Mr. L'muel said."

"Now on your mark..."

"Let the entrance exam begin!"

And as everybody rushes to open the two gigantic old oak door, I saw a maze that I never expected. I grinned as I see my reflection.
