" No Anna, don't worry we will find her soon "

" No Janu, she is not missing to find, She is hiding herself. So it is waste of time to search " i sighed.

"Anna, don't be disappointed. I'll talk to her after party "

" It's okay, Janu. Maybe she don't want to see my face, leave it "

" Anna, stop this assumption. She was more than happy for you. But don't understand what is stopping her. "

"I lost interest in party. I am going " I declared.

"Where? Anna, it is your success party. And you need to be here "

"Call me, if it needed. I am going now " I went to my room.

My friends chaithu and anju met in the way hinted me she is in her room.

I went to my room, did I do that unforgivable mistake? I pulled my hair in frustration. Took an alcohol bottle and had half of it without breaking in middle.

"Ummm, what a capacity? I love you for this " a filthy devil stood in front me.

"Sana, I'm not in the right senses to react with you. We did not invite you people. So it's so better you mind your business and leave this place " I gritted.

"Umm, I came for you baby, to give you fun on bed, have this beauty as a gift for your success " she fell on me.

"Just move away. Chi, how can you do this with almost a stranger? Just leave my sight before I react. You really don't know the consequences" I pushed her from me.

" It's not fair love, I love you. Will you do the same with that neighbor bi$$h Gayatri, I know your fucking relation with that one " I gripped her hair.

"don't bring her name with your filthy mouth, she is goddess. Listen carefully she is Goddess of my life and you, Not even comes to consider as her chappal, so better be in your place. " I released the grip on her hair and pushed her away.

She is spitting fire with eyes causing insult she faced. I don't want all this drama now but she is just irritating me.

"Hmm, why assume so soon, taste me once maybe you won't go her after " she walked to me,

I felt disgusted with her presence. I walked forth. She grabbed my collar, pulled me back and slammed her lips with mine. I'm trying to get away, for a few seconds the alcohol in me makes me surrender, but only one face is in my mind, my Gayu. I pushed her hard.

Even before that, my wildest nightmare became true. My Gayu is there and watching the whole shit with tear-filled eyes. Now I lost her completely, that thought itself shook the land beneath my feet.

" Your fuckmate right? Sorry baby pleasure was mine tonight " This shit makes it worse to me.

Gayu left the place without saying anything, She might be broken.

God how can I mend this?

"Forget her tonight, let's feel the heaven " I lost the last string of my patience.

"You bitch " I slapped her hard, she fell on floor with force.

She quickly locked herself in the room. Her sobs were audible, I sat against the door outside.

Finally the door was opened.

"Enough " I smiled, joining our foreheads.

" You go to party, everyone will search for you if you are not there " I nodded no.

"You have to " she pulled me to the party area.

I clutched her palm tight like I'll miss her again if I left her hand.

She left me with chaithu, joined with girls in dinner.

"Is everything okay? " chaithu shook my arm.

"Yeah, it's fine " I tried to be normal.

All the guests were retired and we both families reached our flats.

"Go " she said as we both stood in front our respective homes.

"Gayu, please I need to talk " I clutched her palm.

I returned to my room, settled on floor, and leaned my head back to bed. I found the box which my Gayu dropped.

So she came to wish me, come back to me. But things turned....... I don't want to think of that worst moment.

I smiled with the writing on it.

"She still remembered my favourites of college days " It's my dream to wear this watch at that time.

"It seems someone is flying in the air " I turned my head to see janu there.

" What are you doing here? "

" What should I do sir? your wife's command to check on you and not let you drink, but here you are in another world " she settled beside me.

"Gayu gifted me this and you see what she wrote on this " I was over excited.

I went to my parents to talk to them. There Ammi already crying, dad consoling.

Now, I'm in The same newspaper office that created the whole mess

" Preethi, let's end it soon," I said to my legal advisor

" Yes Anna," She said and jumped into an argument.

She is the Feisty lawyer I found. the most aggressive in my legal team, and more passionate about suing opponents.

It turned evening,

" Preethi, it is enough "

" I won't leave them easily, even if you do so " She won't let it go now.

But my only concern now is Gayu, I need to talk and clear this misunderstanding. It turned dark till I reached home.

" Where is gayu? " i asked janu

" Where are you Anna? She waited for you "

I released a sigh.

" I need to talk "

" But she slept " JAnu shrugged.

"Is she angry? "

"no actually she is in a happy mood" I relaxed after listening to my sister.

" Wait, I'll wake her up "

"No, let her sleep. I'll talk tomorrow "

I slept peacefully. I felt someone ruffling my hair. 

when I open my eyes 

It is Gayu

"Gayu " my sleep gone.

"What are you doing here? "

"Why, Am I not allowed here?" She settled comfortably on bed.

"Are you real? " I was shocked.

"Yes," she smiled.

I didn't think anything further I just placed my head on her lap

"Anger gone? " I asked.

"Hmm," She smiled.

" I am sorry," I said.

"Don't go back, "  She ruffled my hair.

"I miss you," I said.

"I know "

" I love you "

She smiled "Yes, I know "

" You don't know how much I hurt after hurting you that night " I sat back on bed.

"You know what ... I was.. Just a mes....  " She stopped me.

"Shhhhh, calm down " crawled on me.

"I know everything  " she smiled.

Gently started kissing my face. 

"So, shall we again? " I pulled her closer on my lap.

 she tapped my face a little hard. 

"You still have a doubt? " She smiled and kissed my face.

That gentle smooches joined our lips. We were in another world.

"Anna, Wake up " someone pulled me hard.

"Anna, how long will you sleep? " I hear janu voice.

What's happening here? 

" Just get up you idiot " I felt a kick and felt myself rolling on the bed and falling on the floor.

"Ahhhhhhh" I yelped getting up from the floor.

Wait, where is gayu? 

Was that all a dream? Beautiful dream I smiled myself.

But where is this idiot? disturbed my dream and kicked me down the bed.

I glared at my sister who was suppressing her laugh.

"I am not at fault Anna, I tried a lot to wake you up" she spluttered into laughter.

"You are done " I ran behind her, she was running fast to escape. 

We happily ran the whole home.

" You are over in my hands" I tried to catch my sister. 

" Gayu save me " My little sister hid behind my Gayu.

What should I do now? Am I able to do anything? 

I stuck on my feet looking at my fresh flower, with wet hair strands dangling on either side of her cheeks. 

She gave me a small smile. Then left wiping her wet hair. 

What just happened? She smiled.

" she smiled at me" I was amused.

" ohh, really?" janu mocked crossing her arms.

"Janu maa, Gayu smiled at me " I lifted my sister and twirled around in air.

" Idiot, drop me, my head is spinning " I dropped her on floor.

"Idiot, Do all these with your Gayu, not me " She fell on me.

 " By the way You kicked me when I was sleeping," I plucked her ear.

" Annaa, please please." She pleaded.

" Amma, see what this idiot doing with me" complained to ammi.

"Sahil, Go and get ready. Ain't you going to the office, you are late already "

"Will see you later " I threw her on couch.

But the dream still feels real. Today I'll end this mess. 

After that maybe this dream will come true, I smiled to myself.

At the time I am here for breakfast, everyone is already eating food. She is also having her breakfast silently.

I settled in front of her, but she looked like not interested in lifting her eyelids from her plate.

And I am not interested in shifting my eyes from her moves.

"Anna, eat idly. not Vadina" Janu whispered and pinched my arm.

Soon it turned into a silly sibling fight. 

"Arey, just stop. What happened to you both today " Ammi interfered.

"And you all forgot to ask about Anna's Girlfriend " My sister locked me.

"Yeah, that was what we missed to ask, and You didn't give time yesterday," Sujatha aunty asked.

 Now, My family won't let it go easily.

"What is her Name?" Dad Asked.

"Her Name is..." I trailed teasingly.

I saw her facial expressions the tension in her eyes and her breath going abnormal.

I got you girl,  see now. 

 " What is there in the name Dad? She is the most gorgeous woman I know " The First time she lifted her eyes to look at me.

"Ohhhhhhhhh " My whole family went on hooting.

 I saw her lips making a beautiful curve but she was trying hard to hide it. 

Maybe this chance won't come to anyone. I'll utilize it fully.

Praising her with family in front of her. And she is not in the situation to do anything but enjoy herself  

 " Every Boy feels the same about the girl, whom he is in love with " she smirked back. 

Really, these are the words she spoke after 2 months. 

She counters me just as she does every time in front of our parents.

Then how can I stay back now.

"Hmm, what attracted you more in that girl? " Aravind uncle asked.

"her chubby cheeks" I winked at her.

She narrowed her eyes at me.

"Not in physical idiot " Ammi smacked my head.

"It's her confidence, " I said proudly, looking straight at her.

" She is so Brave, courageous and at the time kind hearted " she looked down instantly.

" You know aunty, she looks so feisty to the world but only I know that little kid in her " she wiped that unnoticed lone tear from her eye corner which i didn't miss to notice. 

" Hmm, she is a sweet girl Ammi, " I smiled.

" Then when we are going to see that sweet girl "

" will see Ammi if my goddess forgives me " I breathed.

" forgives? " uncle asked.

" Actually I made a mistake. She was hurt and so angry on me " I briefed.

"It might be a misunderstanding. Because our sahil won't make mistakes " Sujatha aunty took my side.

"whatever but I hurted her, it's true" I said.

"Then Go and apologize. She will understand for sure " Dad suggested

" I'm trying to do that " I said.

"I don't know what you will do, ask, apologize, or even beg but sort your issue soon. I can't wait for your nikaah " my Ammi goes to an extent.

"We need time Ammi, we are not ready for nikaah this soon "

All were disappointed. 

Our nikaah, sounds magical but this is not the time for it, 

her cheeks saying something to me.

wait, my Gayu blushing inwardly. She is Damn cute.

"Can't we see her picture at least " my sister perfectly locked me this time.

"Yeah, we can right" all of four elders excited.

"idiot " I hissed at my sister.

There my gayu tensed hell, and stood to go to the kitchen.

"Not now janu, I will bring her home soon. Until then it will be a secret to you all " I said out loud so she could listen to my words.

Everyone agreed to me and She breathed in relax and walked to the kitchen.

I gulped my food fastly so that I can talk to her alone in the kitchen. But food choked me.

" Are you mad? eat slowly " I ignored her. 

Finished my food to go to kitchen. 

I stood behind her.

" Gayu I'm sorry about yesterday's incident " I said just when she turned around.

She tried to move aside.

"please listen, it's my uncle's trap. That's why I did that in front of media "

"Okay, it's fine" she said.

"won't you talk to me yet. Still angry with me. I am sorry for that night " I said the same for the nth time.

"At least tell me what I should do for Forgiveness" I said helplessly 

"actually,....." she tries to talk but stopped with our moms presence behind us.

She moved to her flat. 

" where is it?"

"what you are searching for?" my sister came.

"Janu, have you seen my car keys? "

" someone is already waiting for you in your car "

I stunned to hear this. 

"Seriously " I overjoyed.

"yes, she gave you time so sort it out "

I smiled finally.

" let's go then " I excited.

"Not me, it's you both. You need personal space I know "

" And you ?"

"It's fine. Today I'll go by public transport "

"Thank you jaanu maa" I hugged my sister.

Then I ran to parking lot.

There is is waiting for me.

"Ahhh,ummm drop me at my academy" she spoke to me

"Hmm, Yes.Okay " I agreed.

It's been 10 minutes, we didn't speak anything. It is just silence, a suffocating silence.

My words are not forming in sentence, my palms sweating profusely, my arms shivering 

All of a sudden she leaned on my arm just like she did every time. That's it my heart started fluttering.

I felt tears in my eyes. I parked the car aside.

"What happened? Why did you stop car" she raised her head.

" Please don't talk about anything? Let me feel this peace with you" squeezed her palm

" Thank you Gayu, it's been 2 months but it is like years to me. You don't know how much I missed you" 

"Me too" she meeked 

"I'm sorry,"

"Leave all of them, let's start it as fresh again "

"Hmm, thank you for this. I won't let anything come between us anymore." 

"I know"

She smiled finally. 

We spent there holding our palms, we didn't speak but feeling this happiness of togetherness. It's been 15 minutes.

"Thanks for the gift " I showed my wrist watch.

"Congratulations, finally your dedication paid you back " she hugged my arm.

"Gayu I want to propose our love at home, you okay with it?"

"are you sure, is this the time?" She asked.

"There is no doubt I'm Damn percent sure"

"Okay " she is happy 

"Love you" I kissed her forehead

"It will be late for my class" she complained.

"Hmm, okay"

" Will you take me to that resort in the evening, the same resort we proposed for the first time?" 

"I want to start it again as fresh" she asked.

"Let's go now" I gripped her wrist

"Are you mad I have class now"

"Nothing will happen if you bunk class for one day" I reasoned.

"No means no. Let's go in the evening"

"Please" i pleaded.

"I'm also, please" she pleaded more cutely.

"Uhhh, no. Let's go somewhere. I want to spend my day with you" I chided more.

She looked around and suddenly kissed on my cheek

My grip loosened on her wrist with her pleading cute eyes

"Bye, pick me in the evening" she went to inside

I stayed like that till her retreating figure vanished my sight.

I was super happy. I joyfully entered my office after a long break of one month.
