210 - DJ Sessions, and Surabhi's Move
This spree started on chapter 208.
Get chapters 208, 209 and this chapter to 450+ stars so I know you like sprees and aren't skipping parts. If you skip, many things won't make sense.
Comment as well please... I've noticed that the comments have been decreasing. The chapters used to get 300+ comments easily, and now they're hardly even getting 200+. I know that exams are going on for many of my readers, and I'm not putting any pressure, but if you get a chance then do comment. It's super motivating! ❤️
I am VERY likely to post more chapters today, so please vote on all the parts and comment too to show you're enjoying them!

To say that Anirudh Roy Choudhary was only shocked would be an understatement.
He was not just shocked, but he was absolutely disappointed, and very, very angry by what he had seen.
Instead of studying, Bondita was reading romance novels.
Instead of romancing with him, she was reading romance novels.
He didn't know if this feeling stemmed from jealousy or something else, but the idea of her choosing romance novels over real romance was hurting him.
Anirudh had been craving her so badly, and he hadn't been able to have her, because madame was reading romance novels?!
"P - Pati B - Babu... I... I..." Bondita was stammering.
The whole gang had stood up, watching the scene.
Surabhi and Mallika were watching with curiosity, having never been exposed to the Roy Choudharys, or Anirudh's infamous 'DJ sessions'.
Vikram was nervously glancing at Batuk, knowing that this probably wouldn't end well for Bondita.
"You... hid this from me Bondita? You made me believe that you were studying all night?" Anirudh asked her, his voice dangerously calm.
She shook her head, eyes wide.
"W - We did s - study!" Bondita said, "We r - read only on our b - breaks!"
Anirudh wasn't willing to hear any excuses.
"I forbid you from reading these didn't I?" he asked her, his volume rising now, and suddenly he started to yell, making Bondita nearly jump. "DIDN'T I TELL YOU NOT TO READ THESE?"
Bondita stammered, "P - Pati Babu, y - you can test both me and B - Batuk! We s - studied!"
"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT BONDITA," Anirudh bellowed, making Bondita shiver, and he threw the book to the side, where it landed on a desk.
Bondita felt her heart cringe when he threw it. She was always taught that books were supposed to be treated properly, that they were to be respected.
Surabhi turned to look at Vikram and Mallika, as she said, "It seems like Mr. ARC doesn't love Bondita! Why would he yell at her if he loved her!"
Batuk was standing there, shivering himself, and he couldn't register what Surabhi was saying.
Vikram glared at Surabhi and said, "You don't understand their love, nor do you know Bondita's Pati Babu. It's better you don't comment and assume things."
"But why is he yelling so loudly Ji?" Mallika asked. "He's so scary."
Surabhi still thought Anirudh was hot.
"I TOLD YOU TO DO ONE THING. TO STUDY. MY WORDS HAVE NO VALUE ANYMORE?"
Bondita shook her head, her eyes widening.
"No Pati Babu! Your words have so much value to me!" she told him, and reached to hold his hand. "You're everything to me and so are your words --"
"LIES!" Anirudh screamed at her. "DON'T SAY THINGS YOU DON'T MEAN BONDITA."
Tears flooded her eyes and she said, "I do mean it..."
"I WAS SO PROUD OF YOU, FOR STUDYING SO HARD, FOR LONG HOURS... BUT WHO KNEW THAT YOU WERE STUDYING ROMANCE NOVELS INSTEAD!" Anirudh yelled, as tears poured down her cheeks rapidly.
He looked away from her, his heart aching when he saw her tears.
But he was not going to be shaken today. Not this time.
"P - Pati Babu don't say that you aren't proud of me," she begged, gripping on to his hand and holding it tightly.
He pulled his hand away from her grip and glared at Batuk.
Batuk gulped and tried to hide behind Vikram.
"DIDN'T I ALREADY PUNISH YOU FOR BUYING ROMANCE NOVELS FOR YOUR BOUDI? NOW, YOU'RE READING THEM WITH HER?" Anirudh screamed, shifting so that he was directly in front of Batuk.
Bondita wiped her tears away and furiously stood in between Batuk and Anirudh.
"Don't yell at Batuk!" she told him intensely, "He didn't do anything! I bought them for him!"
This Boudi and Devar duo had a lot of love for each other, and Anirudh wasn't privy to that. It had warmed his heart many times, seeing the level of care they had for each other.
However, this was too much!
They were literally encouraging each other!
"YOU BOUGHT THEM FOR HIM BONDITA?" Anirudh bellowed. "HE IS ALREADY DOING BADLY IN SCHOOL, AND YOU'RE DISTRACTING HIM WITH ALL OF THIS?"
Batuk gulped nervously.
"He will do great Pati Babu! He has studied so hard!" Bondita defended.
"THIS TIME IT SEEMS LIKE YOU WON'T DO GREAT EITHER," Anirudh screamed.
Mallika placed her hand on her forehead, and she said on the side, "Ji this is hurting my ears."
"Imagine his throat," Vikram murmured back.
"Pati Babu we will both do fine!" Bondita said defensively.
"BONDITA DIDN'T I SAY I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING?" he bellowed.
"Fine, then you go ahead and yell," Bondita said, folding her arms across her chest, upset now, "You won't listen, so scream!"
This was when Kaka entered the study asking, "What is going on here?"
Vikram quickly reached for the romance novel on the desk and hid it under his textbook.
Anirudh breathed sharply and said, "Nothing Kaka!"
If Kaka found out that his beloved Bahu was reading romance novels, then Bondita would be done for, and Anirudh couldn't have that either.
Only he was allowed to be angry at Bondita. Nobody else.
"Why are you screaming then Anirudh?" Kaka asked.
"Kakasasurji, does Pati Babu always have a reason?" Bondita asked, and Anirudh turned to glare at her.
Bondita looked away from him, trying not to cry.
"You're right Bahu. He yells with no logic sometimes!" Kaka said with a heavy sigh. "Anirudh stop screaming, or you'll lose your voice."
"I'LL SCREAM IF I WANT TO KAKA! IT'S MY VOICE," Anirudh screamed.
Bondita said, "It's your voice, but if something happens to your vocal chords then I'm the one who will have to make honey lemon tea for you to soothe it!"
Anirudh turned to glare at her again, and he said, "BIHARI CAN MAKE MY TEA! BIHARI CAN GET MY MEDICATIONS. BIHARI CAN DO EVERYTHING BONDITA! AND IF HE CAN'T, THEN I CAN!"
"Exactly, you make your own decisions right? Didn't you empower me to make my own decisions too?" she questioned. "Shouldn't I decide for myself what's right or wrong?"
Anirudh hissed, "I said I don't want to hear anything!"
"Of course not," Bondita said, tears prickling her eyes.
Kaka was very confused by why they were fighting. He didn't understand why Anirudh was so angry.
"Bahu what happened?" Kaka urged.
"Kakasasurji, Pati Babu thinks I'm not studying," Bondita said, holding back her tears.
"Anirudh, let it go," Kaka said.
"KAKA, PLEASE," Anirudh yelled, "I'VE HAD IT!"
Then he stormed out of the room angrily.
"Pati Babu!" Bondita yelled, her heart sinking, not liking the feeling of him being angry at her.
She was about to go after him, when Kaka said, "Bahu, let him be angry. He will calm down in a little while. Talk to him then. After all, he can't stay angry at you for long."
Surabhi winced when she heard this. Why couldn't Mr. ARC stay angry at Bondita for long?
"I'll use the bathroom," she murmured, and she left the study, deciding to talk to him herself!
"Kakasasurji, my heart feels uneasy whenever Pati Babu is upset with me," she said.
Batuk stood next to Bondita and he said, "Boudi, Kaka's right. He won't be mad at you for long, so just talk to him when his anger cools down."
Vikram nodded in agreement.
Then Kaka left the room, and the tears finally poured down Bondita's cheeks.
"Sorry Boudi, it's all my fault," Batuk apologized. "You got the romance novels for me."
Bondita shook her head and said, while wiping her tears, "It's not your fault Batuk. I chose to buy them, and I don't regret my decision. We studied, didn't we? Did we neglect our studies? No. So if we spend our break time reading, is there something wrong? Over studying causes mental exhaustion too! Breaks are necessary. One needs to be relaxed to take in the information properly! Pati Babu has to understand this!"
"Bondita, I've always seen you have unshakeable faith in your Pati Babu. How come you went against what he said this time?" Vikram asked.
Bondita looked at Vikram and said, "Vikram, I still have unshakeable faith in him. I always will. He is still my God, and everything he says to me is God's word, it always will be. However, he has also said one thing -- that I should be self-sufficient. I shouldn't just copy and listen to him, but I should feel things out on my own. I should navigate situations on my own."
She continued, "He taught me not to follow him, but he always says he will make be greater than him. I don't believe anyone can be greater than him Vikram. It's just not possible in my eyes. However, I can't doubt his words. I'm only following and practicing what he taught me -- to make decisions on my own, to make judgements on my own. He taught me values, and now it's time for me to use them myself."
"Wow Bondita," Vikram said, blown away, "Even when you oppose him, your faith in him is in tact."
"Just like Dada still loves her, despite erupting like a volcano," Batuk said, lightly.
"Wow what a love Ji!" Mallika said from beside them. "I wonder if I can get a love like that one day!"
Batuk looked at her with irritation and said, "It's impossible. It's one of a kind."
Bondita smiled and said, "It's not impossible Batuk. I've already explained to you how it's possible!"
"Yeah yeah," Batuk just said, rolling his eyes.
Vikram just chuckled and he said, "What's the point Mallika? Just be happy in loving without expectations, if there's anyone you love."
Mallika sighed and said, "That's a problem Ji! Don't mind, but there's nobody worth loving!"
Batuk frowned, somehow taking offense to this.

Surabhi had followed Anirudh to the front door, where he was about to angrily head out.
"Excuse me Mr. ARC!" she said, approaching him.
If this man's anger couldn't last long on Bondita, then she had to do something now while his anger was hot!
Surabhi placed her hand on Anirudh's arm, making Anirudh look at her with shock.
"I know that Bondita made you mad, so I thought that you need someone to vent to, a friend," Surabhi said, and curled her fingers around his forearm. "You can talk to me. I promise I will listen to you, unlike Bondita who was trying to talk back."
Anirudh's eyes narrowed at the girl, and Surabhi just grinned at him.
