~ Ryder's POV ~

We drive in a comfortable silence to Charlie's house. For the first time ever, Charlie has let me drive her truck which is special because she never lets anyone drive her truck. 

Every so often I glance over at her and she smiles back at me. One hand on the wheel, I reach over and hold her hand with the other. 

Eventually, we get to her house with Cole and Eden right behind us. I get out and walk around to Charlie's side and scoop her out of the truck. She giggles and I kiss her cheek before putting her down. She smiles at me before looking at Eden and Cole. 

"I think Charlie, Cole and I should go in first" Eden says grinning. I nod and look up at Charlie. 

"And I'm guessing you want me to come in after?" I say chuckling. Charlie nods and we all laugh. She grabs my hand and we head for the door. 

I hide and she grabs her keys out of her pocket and unlocks the door. Now the fun starts.

~ Charlie's POV ~

"Hi, mum" I yell as I walk in. Suddenly, Adette runs down the stairs followed by my mother with a smirk on her face. 

"Charlie!" Adette squeals. 

"Hi bub," I say chuckling as Eden and Cole walk in. 

"Mum, is it okay if they hang out here for a while?" I ask, looking at her smiling. 

"Of course hun. Just them? No one else?" she asks curiously. Strange. 

"Umm yeah, actually there is someone else" I reply smiling. We all watch as Ryder strolls through the door with a grin on his face. 

"Carina," he says, nodding in acknowledgement. 

"Ryder! It's lovely to see you again. I was wondering when you'd be back" she says grinning. Ummmmmm, what? 

"You knew?" I ask her confused. 

"Of course. A little birdy told me about a week ago" she replies grinning before looking at Adette. I stand there shocked as Ryder smirks. I frown and he slides his arm around my waist. 

"Come on sweetie. Let's leave the big kids to their own devices" mum says winking at me before taking Adette back upstairs. I blush as we all watch them walk up the stairs and disappear. 

"I don't understand. How did she know?" I ask confused. 

"Your dad would have told her. There was a guardian meeting the night your dad came to see you, that's why he had to leave. They were swearing me in so every guardian had to be there" Ryder says smiling. 

"Oh okay. Wait, you know my dad came to see me?". 

"Yeah, he talked to me about it because he knows everything," he says guiltily. I smile and kiss his cheek. 

"It's okay, I promise," I say quietly. 

"So what are we going to do?" Eden asks happily. 

"Ummmm well we could watch a movie" I suggest happily. 

"Sounds good" Cole says as Eden walks over to the movie section of our bookshelf and chooses a movie.

For the next two hours, we spend our time watching 'The Duff', Eden's choice of course and scoffing down popcorn and lollies. Eventually, the movie finishes and we just sit and talk for a while. 

"Do you have to go?" Eden whines as she rests her head on Cole's shoulder. 

"Sadly yes, if I want to be your angel" he replies chuckling. 

"Ugh fine. I'll see you in a week" she says huffing. Cole laughs harder and looks at her.

"What? No goodbye kiss?" he pouts mockingly. She giggles and starts to make out with him, making both Ryder and I slightly uncomfortable. Ryder winks at me and then proceeds to kiss me too, to make the mood less awkward. 

I laugh and he grins at me as Eden and Cole finally stop kissing. They blush and we grin at them before Ryder breaks the silence. 

"So, shall we go then Cole," he asks grinning. Cole nods and Eden and Cole say their goodbyes causing Eden to tear up even though he's only going for a week. She's always been a sook so I don't blame her though. Ryder looks at me and winks. 

"I'll be back soon," he says huskily before kissing me. Fuck. I shudder and grin at him before he grabs Cole's hand and suddenly, they both disappear. Eden turns to me and grins. 

"Damn, we have such sexy boyfriends," she says giggling. I nod as I laugh back. 

"I should get going now" she continues, putting her jacket on. 

"Okay. Please be safe. It's late and I don't want anything happening to you so please text me when you get home" I say as I walk her to the door. 

"Yes, mum" she smirks before we hug and she heads out the door. I sigh as I close the door. Suddenly, Ryder reappears in my living room grinning. 

"Angel," he says huskily as he walks over to me. 

"Ryder" I reply, grinning. He winks and sweeps me up in his arms. I giggle as he carries me up to my room. He closes the door with his foot before gently setting me down on my bed. He sits down next to me and watches me carefully. 

"I'm sorry for everything Charlie, I really am," he says quietly with a sad smile. I smile and lean my head on his shoulder. 

"It's okay" I reply quietly. 

"Is there anything I can do to make you forgive me?". 

"I've already told you this Ryder. Just love me and don't leave". 

"I know but is there anything I can do right now?". 

"You know, there is actually". 

"What's that?" he asks eagerly. 

"Kiss me you dumbass," I say grinning. He smirks and suddenly his lips are on mine as he gently pushes me back into my bed. He places himself between my legs and kisses me hard. I smile into the kiss as I melt under his touch. 

Suddenly my phone vibrates in my back pocket and I break away. He frowns at me and I giggle. I pull out my phone and look at the text. 

"Yay. Eden got home safely" I say giggling as Ryder rolls his eyes and proceeds to suck on my neck. Welp, I'm definitely going to have a bruise there tomorrow. I quickly reply to Eden before putting my phone on flight mode and placing it on my bedside table. 

Ryder looks at me grinning and I smile back. 

"I love you, Charlie. Please don't ever forget that" he says huskily. 

"I love you too Ryder and I won't" I reply before pulling him back into the kiss. 

"Oh, by the way," Ryder says, breaking away for a moment. 

"Yeah?" I ask confused. 

"I like your new tattoo". 

"Thank you" I reply smiling. 

"It's the day we met," he says before kissing me softly. 

"Yeah, it is. How'd you know?" I ask confused as he stops kissing me. 

"Because I pay attention to you angel" he replies chuckling. Oh, right haha. I blush and he chuckles before smashing he lips back into mine. 

The rest of the night was spent doing the nasty, cuddling and eventually falling asleep entangled in one another. 

Absolutely perfect.
