{Monday 10 July + Tuesday 11 July}

~ Charlie's POV ~

I groan and snuggle into the warmth that is enveloping me. I hear a chuckle and open my eyes to see Ryder staring down at me with his beautiful smile. 

I smile back but then everything floods back. Ryder's scars, the visions. I quickly sit up and look at him nervously. 

"What happened?" I ask carefully. 

"I don't know Angel, one moment you were standing and then the next, you blackout out in my arms," he says concerned. I frown at him and think about the vision I had. 

"I touched your scars and I had a weird dream hallucination thing I think," I say slowly, trying to wrap my head around what happened. 

"Aww, angel. What happened in the hallucination? You screamed and zoned out and I got worried because I didn't know what to do?" he says nervously. 

"It was you. You were growing black wings out of your scars" I say in a daze. He looks at me funny and I frown. 

"It must be the PTSD right?" I ask nervously. 

"Probably. I had PTSD for a while after the fire and I had the same symptoms so I wouldn't be surprised if it is" he says, gently pulling me back into his arms. I nod and stay quiet for a moment, thinking. 

"Ryder," I ask quietly. 

"Mmmm?". 

"How'd you get your scars?" I ask looking up at him. He sighs and looks at me with a sad expression. 

"In the fire" he starts wearily. 

"Something burning fell on me as I was pulling my brother Toby out of his bedroom. It melted my clothes and gave me really bad burns. They are the only bad scars I have left". 

"I'm sorry" I reply quietly, thumbing his cheek. 

"It's okay" he replies with a sad smile. 

"I got trapped and I dropped him but he had already died from smoke inhalation". 

"Aww Ryder, I'm so sorry". 

"It's okay Angel" he replies before kissing. 

"We should go back inside, it's almost 8. You need to eat some dinner. You were out cold for a while" he says as he stands up with me in his arms. I smile and snuggle into him as we walk inside and find that my mum has set up the dining room for us to eat in. 

Candles and flowers and everything. I laugh as he pulls out my seat with his foot and places me gently done on it. We spend the rest of the night talking and eating before he carries me up to my room. 

I'm surprised mum hasn't kicked him out yet. We kick off our shoes and snuggle on my bed for a while before I get up to go to the bathroom. I go do my business and to my surprise I find mum waiting outside for me. 

"So, how's it going?" she asks, wiggling her eyebrows at me. 

"Good? I'm surprised you haven't kicked him out yet" I reply smiling.

"Trust you to like him, you like everyone". 

"I know but he seems different. Perfect for you in fact". 

"Okay mum, whatever. Yes, I'm in love with him but I'm scared". 

"Why hun? He's an angel". 

"That's the thing. He's amazing and he says he's in love with me too but I'm scared that he's going to get bored of me because one, I'm a virgin; two I'm not the prettiest girl in our school; and three, I have PTSD. I want to believe that he genuinely likes me but there's a part of me that doesn't trust him".

"How do you know?" I finally manage to ask. 

"Let's just say a certain someone called me up a while ago and asked for my permission to take if from you when the time was perfect" she replies chuckling. I gawk at her.

"He really loves you, Charlie. I can tell" she says smiling before walking off down the hall. I stand there for a moment longer in silence before walking back to my bedroom and closing the door. 

I watch as Ryder looks up and smiles at me with the most beautiful smile ever. Damn, how'd I get to so lucky to end up with someone as angelic as him. I walk over to my bed and lie down next to him, snuggling into his side. 

He kisses the top of my head, causing me to smile. I look up at him and he kisses me hard. I smile into the kiss and he slides his arm around my waist and flips us over so that he is on top of me, no breaking the connection of our lips at all. 

Things start to heat up and I find myself once again pulling his shirt off. Is this is? Is it going to happen? 

Will I be losing it to Ryder Wolfe Jacobs? My mind starts to race and Ryder pulls away sensing it. 

"We don't have to if you're not ready?" he replies, nervously. 

"I'm ready" I reply smiling. 

"I love you Charlie". 

"I love you too Ryder" I reply before smashing my lips back into his.

"Charlie, you can't go back to sleep. You have to get up, it's Tuesday" Ryder continues, smirking. I groan and open my eyes again. 

"Whhhyyyyyyyy" I whine. "Why can't it be the weekend? Then we could just cuddle in bed all day" I whine, sitting up and looking at him. 

I suddenly realise I'm not wearing any clothes and blush slightly. Ryder chuckles and gets out of bed and puts his clothes on. 

"Where are you going," I ask curiously. 

"I'm going to go back to my house to shower and get changed and get my stuff for school. Is that okay?" he replies smiling. 

"Yeah, that's okay. I'll meet you at school?". 

"Of course angel" he replies smiling before kissing me gently. 

"You're beautiful Charlie," he says quietly as he pulls away. I blush and look down. 

"I mean it. I also mean it when I say that I'm in love with you so don't forget that" he continues as he grabs his phone, wallet, and keys off my floor. 

"I love you too Ryder" I reply smiling. He kisses me once more before walking out of the room. I sigh and decide I should probably get up. I stand up and put on an oversized jumper and head towards the bathroom. 

As I'm walking, I discover I'm kind of sore from last night but that was to be expected as I was a virgin. I jump through the shower, get dressed and pack my stuff for school before heading downstairs to find mum in the kitchen making lunch while Adette is watching cartoons on the couch. Mum grinning giddily as I walk into view. 

"What?" I ask curiously. 

"My baby girl is finally a woman," she says happily. My jaw drops and I stand there speechless. 

"H-how do you know?" I ask nervously. 

"I asked Ryder as he left. Such as gentlemen that one" she says laughing. I continue to stare at her as she laughs before finally walking over to make breakfast. 

"Soooo, how was it?" she asks nosily with a huge grin on her face. 

"Mum! Stop! I'm not telling you that!" I yell, horrified. She laughs and hugs me. 

"Okay, okay. I'll stop. Have a good day at school hun, I'm leaving to take Adette to school now and I'll pick her up afterward so I'll see you when I get home" she replies smiling before getting Adette and heading out the door. 

God, I have the nosiest mum ever. But I still love her. I finish eating and grab my lunch that mum had made for me before heading out the door.
