Hel's pov

Walking behind Casey and Rose as they hold hands gives me a queasy feeling. Makes me feel weird. Anger maybe. No its not that. Maybe envy. Or jealousy. Tsk both. I sigh and walk into someone. Looking up I see its Casey. They stopped.

" Are you alright ? You look a bit ill. " she asks touching my forehead. Making my cheeks flush.

" Mm I think the changing didn't sit well. Do you feel light headed or off balanced ?" I shake my head and step away from her a bit.

" Uh no I'm fine. Just was thinking. That's all" She smiles then grabs Rose hand and walk down the hall and opens the door to the conference room I'm guessing. As I walk in it gets silent. Some people glare other just stare. Makes my skin crawl to have so many eyes on me. I see Nina up on the stage and she smiles. Next to her is a woman the looks like her. She just glances then looks away uninterested.

Tsk well excuse me then. We reach the stage and they all bow. What the hell. Casey then lets go of Rose's hand and Nina places a crown onto her head. Then stands infront of Rose and places one on her head. The people clap and cheer I look out and notice alot more people than when I walked in. I walk to Casey and tap her. It gets deadly silent and I jump back when a loud growl comes from someone.

" ENOUGH !" The growl stops but my heartbeats faster as Casey comes near me. This feeling. What is it. I want to run and never look back. Fear. Yeah definitely fear.

" Hel I'm not gonna hurt you."

" NO ONE WILL." she directs that to Nina's twin. She nods and sits down arms crossed.

" Are you alright? What did you need? " she touches my arm and I instantly feel better.

" I just was wondering why so many people here? " I was mumbling and she smiled softly.

" Well this is a conference. Officials from both my kingdoms and pack are here. So that's quite alot of people. " I nod and notice Rose laughing silently. She's is loving my discomfort.

" Now to business at hand. " she ushers me to a seat beside Nina and she sits between a little girl and Rose. There's another little girl sitting next to the first one. Then there's Nina's twin Nina and me. On the other side. Two women standing behind Casey as well.

" Alpha we haven't made any progress on finding Matthew. It's like he left without a trace. "  A big muscular guy with a nice clean cut comes forward. And I guess that starts this meeting.

Casey's pov.

" Alpha we haven't made any progress on finding Matthew. It's like he left without a trace. " Mason comes forward and I frown. No progress in a whole fucking year. I don't want to tell Amanda her whole family is dead. I mean I'm here for her, but she also needs her family.

" Go to the Rogues. See if they know anything. " I state leaving my thoughts.

" Yes alpha " he bows leaves.

" Queen Casey you have been invited to yet another ball from the Vampires. " Again huh. Maybe I should go. Its been a year.

" How's my armies Michelle. " she steps forward.

" They are ready at any moment my queen. " Hm I nod. They have been training daily for a year. And combined with my kingdoms

" Tell them I accept. "

" Yes my queen " after that the conference is a blur. I answer with yes and no and after awhile I can tell Amanda is getting restless.

" We can't just allow them to trade within us my Queen. They are rogues and rebels. People who don't belong and don't want to belong. "

" They have to make a living some way. Its not like their pillaging and causing trouble. Remember this pack has a considerable amount of ex rogues Alpha. You can't just push them aside. " Steven explains and I nod

" They're dirty thieves. " Lance snaps and the argument goes on and I frown.

" They only steal to survive. Its hard when no one will accept them for work. So they can't make an honest living. Alpha please consider what this will do. If you stop letting them trade here. It will be a disadvantage." Steven speaks again and I nod. Of course in not going to stop letting them trade. That will make my people suffer. The rich will be happy but the poor will be miserable. 

" This is a"

" I've heard enough. I will be letting the trade continue. " Lots of gasps and cheers. I hear some grumbles but it doesn't matter.

" Enough. Steven is right. Now. This conference will be ending soon. I want to state if I find any businesses not letting someone work because of discrimination. You will be jailed. Now that we are at the end. Hel. " I stand and look back at her. She gets up and walks to my side.

" I have struck a deal with Death. Her name is Hel and she will be apart of us for 3 whole months. Starting now. Make her feel at home. " and with that I walk to Rose and the girls and then off stage. I turn to see Hel close behind. But no one else dare moves.  No one can leave till I have left the room. New rules to keep my loved ones safe and I safe.

" Rose sweetie you look beautiful in that crown. Truly as I have imagined and dreamed.  " She smiles

" You've changed so much. There's a different air about you. Nothing like I remembered. " I nod. I have changed. I know that and so does everyone else. Before I was just a child trying to survive in this world. Reasons I lost so much is because of my childish mind set.

" Well its for the best that i have changed. So I can run my kingdom and pack properly. "

" You have been running your pack and kingdom wonderfully love. " Revana hugs me and then wraps her arms around Rose and kisses her cheek.

" And now you have your Queen by your side once again. Rose we truly missed you. Right Michelle baby. " She turns and Michelle nods.

" Of course. And stop calling me baby. " Michelle smiles softly then looks to me.

" Ive gotten word on Matthews wereabouts. It seems he's in the faerie kingdom. Do you want me to tell my men approach him. " I freeze at the news. Matthew is alright. He's alive.

" Casey? " Revana touches my arm softly.

" No. No don't approach. I will go and see to this myself. Tell your men to stay where they are until I come. " I turn on my heel quickly almost running into Hel.

" I am going as well. " Rose states and I shake my head.

" No. " I begin to walk away again and she grabs my arm.

" I am going whether you want me to or not. I just returned to you. I will not leave your side. " Rose glares at me

" Well she's as assertive as ever. " Vera laughs

" We can't say no to her and I would like some alone time. You know we won't have that here with the kids and our duties. " Saga explains and I nod.

" Stop having a conversation about me. I'm going and that is final. "

" Darling of course you are going. We'd love that and you've made up your mind. " Vera speaks and I nod.

" Good now lets go. "

" Mom ? What about us ? " Athena pouts and I sigh.

" Sweetie you have to stay here and keep everything in order okay. " She puts some more but only nods her head.

" Okay lets go. Michelle stay here. Serenity and Revana you will be coming. "

" I'll go get Serenity. " Revana leaves quickly and I head out the door Rose close behind. Ah right.

" Nina make sure Hel stays on schedule while I'm gone. " I link her

" Can do alpha " she answers immediately.

" So honey how long has it been since you shifted? A year right. "

" Yeah are we gonna run ? Good I need a run. "

" Revana go ahead of us to Faerie kingdom with Serenity. Tell the council I will be staying in my room  at the palace. " I tell her as she walks up with serenity. They nod

" Alright lets go Serenity. "

" Okay Rose come on. " I grab her hand and go behind the house. And start taking my clothes off.

" Casey " Vera and Saga say

" What? "

" Rose I think we broke her. " I turn my head and look she's just staring. Eyes wide.

" When did you get this tattoo? " she asks running her hand down my back. I smile and turn all the way around.

" You like it ? " I ask and she nods. I knew she would. Its a Rose of course.

I shift and she takes her cloths off and does the same. I nip at her paw and she does the same. After a bit of playful banter we make our way to Faerie kingdom. I missed this. Being able to play and run for fun. But this trip to the Faerie Kingdom isn't for fun. Its to get Matthew back. I can't play around especially when Rose is with me. I look to her and she barks and runs ahead.

" Everything will be fine. Even if something goes wrong. We will not be involved in the mess. We've got this " Vera says and I run up to Rose. Of course we got this. Matthew you better stay were you are. I think as I catch up.

Heyyy guys sorry for the late update. Like hella late but you know how life messes shiz up. Anywhose hope you like the chap and ill try to update quicker. As always
