I knew what was happening, I’ve had this nightmare so many times. The mist surrounds me like a dark gray fog. I walk deeper in and as I did I could hear voices, they become more recognizable as I got closer. The fog clears and I see what I have always seen... My parents, my friends, my family and everyone else I care about... But there all fighting. 

I shout and beg for them to stop, but they don’t. 

“If all your going to do is fight then... You all might as well shut up and DIE!” I scream at everyone. They all stop and just look at me, my mother and father walk up to me and then stop.

“Is that how you really feel?” My mother asked, a sound of worry in her voice.

“What’s the point in living if all you do is fight! Every day someone I care about is fighting, I can’t take it any more!” I scream at them.

“Calm down and we can...” my father says in a calm voice, but I cut him off shouting. 

“I don’t want to calm down! I’ve said now for years that I want it to end. I want all the pain, all the fighting to just end! But nobody cares!” I say looking down to hide the tears starting to slip down my cheek. “everyone might as well just die.” my voice no more than a whisper.

I looked up and the fog had thickened and I couldn’t see anyone... I also couldn’t hear them. I began walking through the fog hoping to find someone, anyone. I came to another clearing in the fog and a tear fell as I stood in shock at what I had found.

“no..... But how?!” I whispered looking at every one I had ever loved, every one I had ever cared about all laying on the ground dead. This has never happened before.  

All of a sudden I felt a sharp pain in my side, I looked down and found a knife stabbed into the side of my stomach. I pulled the knife out dropping it to the ground. I watched as the crimson red blood slowly staned my snow white dress. I felt myself begin to fade as the pain edged its way through my body. my legs became numb and I closed my eyes I felt myself fall landing on my knees. Opening my eyes I found that I was no longer in the gray fog, but was alone in a field surrounded by white and red roses’s. The full moon caused the white flowers glow lighting up the hill I was on, the flowers swayed with the wind. It was all so peaceful. I lay down in the grass smiling forgetting about the fact that I was bleeding, or the fact that everyone else was gone, I just wanted to enjoy the peace and beauty I had always wanted and now finally had. 

“So do you like it here?” I heard a sweet voice say. I turned over to see a boy about my age laying on the ground next to me. At this point I wasn’t startled by the stranger, I just calmly answered his question.

“I wish I could stay here forever.” the boy then stood up and held his hand out for me to take. I took his hand and he helped me up, my legs were still numb and I immediately began to fall again. He caught me in his arms helled me in them. His midnight black hair was just like mine and his eyes where the deepest blue I had ever seen.

“Who are you, and why am I here?” “My name is Ciel, I’m a demon and I’ve been watching over you and protecting you for a while now. Your here because I brought you here.”
