Pretend that you're happy,

don't leave a trace.

Force a smile to come across your face.

Keep pushing yourself;

no one around you understands,

the many tears that left your eyes

or the sin you caused with your hands.

Shut your mouth and inhale your pain,

a silenced mouth will help you to gain.

Do yourself a favor, and everyone else, too.

Pretend to be the happy pink of enthusiasm,

instead of the complaining blue.
