*Faith's POV*

We've been split up for about an hour. Dad was talking to Ray about sauces for some reason. We had Metallica playing, and I was doodling in my sketch pad I had grabbed from home. Kacy texted me as we were turning a corner.

KC- Help, Gerard and Mikey are arguing over which superhero is better!!

I laughed to myself and responded.

Me- Tell them Faith said to stop arguing cause Batman's better obvi. *insert cry laughing emoji*

KC- I just did. Both of them got quiet XD

Me- I knew it XD

"Hey Faith?" I looked towards my dad.

"What?" I asked.

"What was life like before you got captured?"

"Well, I lived with my mom, sister, brother and grandma. I had three dogs and a turtle. He died though. I was in band and choir, and wasn't very popular I guess."

"What instrument did you play in band?" Ray asked.

"Percussion, but I gave up on it last year. It wasn't my thing. I decided to focus more on my guitar, and soon enough, I knew how to play a lot of music." I said, proud of my talent.

"Nice."

I went back to doodling in my sketchbook. I was drawing a girl who had her fist up as if she were to knock on a door. A white figure went through her shadow making it look like someone was poking her in the back. She had blood all over her clothes and hands. It was real creepy. But it just came to my mind at the moment. As I started to finish my sketch, Ray abrubtly stopped the car and we skidded to a halt.

"What the fuck is that?" I heard my dad ask. I looked up and saw what appeared to be a giant tank. Driving it was a Drac.

"Dad, what's going on?" I asked, worried for our safety.

"Faith, I think we aren't gonna be very safe any longer. Tell Kacy to tell Gee to stop RIGHT NOW." I nodded and texted her. She asked why but saw us stopped up on this hill.

"Faith, stay in here with Ray. Imma go get the others and have them come over here. We gotta find cover. And soon" he commanded. He slowly got out of the car, being careful not to be too loud. Ray climbed to the back and I hugged him. I was scared to death. What was going on out there? Was all I could manage to think. Dad came back with Gerard, Kacy, and Mikey. Ray went back up front, as did Mikey. Dad and Gee got in the back with me and Kacy. Ray quietly started up the car, and we turned around in the deserted hills of the country. I clutched onto Kacy for dear life, as if I let go I would fly away.

"Hey dad, w-what was going on out there?" I asked.

"I don't know kid. I think that we need to get back to town. It won't be that safe, but by doing so, we could make sure we'll have everything. That might mean raiding some old stores. Everyone is gone, so we won't get in trouble with the police." We all murmered an agreement and sat in silence.
As we drove by the countryside, I saw no signs of life. No cows, horses, or anything. The only thing that proved that there was once life were the barns. We kept driving until we finally found Main Street. It was the same here as the country.

All of us got out, and we walked together towards a clothing store. As we walked up to it I saw a padlock.

Dad saw that as a reason to kick the glass open with his boots. That works, I thought. Glass scattered the place and we took a step back. Gerard was the first one to step into the store. We all followed suit. Clothing hung in every space in the store. Kacy ran up to a navy blue skater skirt.

"Faith get your ass up here!" She exclaimed, excitement showing through. I ended up following her all around the store, us grabbing clothes that we thought would suit us well. We saw a dressing room and tried the outfits on.

Kacy and I came out and were amazed at the outfits. She was wearing a pastel pink leather jacket, with light yellow ripped jeans, and baby blue fishnets under neath. She had on a baby blue t shirt that said, "LoVe" in cursive.

I had lime green jeans and a dark blue turtle neck, long sleeve, crop top. I found a green vest and blue fingerless gloves.

"Damn, may I just say you look fine, mamacita," I said.

"Stop being a perv!" She yelled laughing.

We looked around and saw the guys staring at a bunch of skinny jeans. I laughed when Mikey saw a shirt with a unicorn on it. Kacy tapped my shoulder and pointed at a corner. MAKEUP

Hell yeeah

I ran to the corner and grabbed blues, greens, and blacks. Fuhk yes! Looks like Kacy and my things were settled. We walked up to the guys.

"Mkay we're done here."

"Good," Gee said. "Time to get supplies."

I'm back

*Hum Hallelujah plays in the distance*
