Uni's POV

I walk to the deli with slight fear that my uncle was watching me. I walk into the deli to get a bottle of Arizona and a small bag of chips. I was gonna pay for the chips and juice until I turned around and bumped into someone again! I accidentally dropped the juice and chips but they didn't spill or open. I look up to see brown haired guy with a sweater that had an M on it.

Uni: "S-Sorry I didn't mean to-

????: "It's fine. Are you ok?"

Uni: "Y-Yeah I'm f-fine"

????: "Are you sure? You're studdering. My name is Nick by the way"

Uni: "Y-Yeah I'm fine. M-My name is U-Uni"

Nick: "Uni? Hey Uni it's me Nick!"

Uni: "I know you just told me you're name"

Nick: "Don't you remeber me? Uni it's me....Nick. I was you're friend"

Uni: "N-Nick?"

I couldn't help but cry for being reunited with Nick. He was my first and only friend. He moved away though and left me all alone. He knew about my uncle and about me cutting.

Stop crying it won't do anything. Crying is for cowards like you.

I hugged him and at first he was shocked but then hugged me back.

Nick: "Why are you crying? I'm here now aren't I?"

Uni: "D-Don't leave me a-alone with h-him"

Nick: "I promise I won't.....ever again"

He will leave you like he did before. They will always leave you alone to be consumed by the darkness inside you. That darkness is me.

We stayed there for a little while until I stopped crying. When I stopped crying we just talked like nothing happened we also payed for the food. I felt like I was a normal kid. Until Nick brought up a question I was hoping he wouldn't ask.

Nick: "Uni are.......are you still you know *whispers* cutting?"

I hesitate and slowly nod my head. He looks at me with sadness in his eyes. Nick grabbed me by the arm and dragged me out the deli. He brings me outside to some kind of forest. It was like a forest but not with many trees but there were no buildings or cars all of it was pure silence. I admired at how beautiful it looked I even smiled. Nick stood in front of me looked me in the eyes and had a strait face. My smile faded away into a face that showed that I was scared.

???? POV

I was walking around the school until I spot two people in the forest-like area behind the school. I noticed that it was that cute boy from earlier and Nick. What was Nick doing with the cute guy? Nick started to talk and I couldn't help but listen.

Nick: "Uni stop hurting yourself. It won't do anything"

So thats his name? Uni....I love it it really suits him.

Uni: "I know it won't but i-it helps me"

Nick: "How does it help you?! All it's doing is hurting you!"

Uni: "B-But it makes me f-feel better"

Nick: "Uni it's doing nothing but hurting you! It may make you feel better but it's not!"

Uni: "B-But-

Nick: "Uni STOP- *takes a deep breath*.....give me it"

Uni: "Give you what?"

Nick: "You know what I'm talking about. I'm helping you Uni. It's for your own good. Give it to me"

Uni: "N-No i-it h-helps m-me a-and I-I d-don't h-have i-it"

Nick: "Uni it's for your own good and I know you have it!"

Uni: "B-But I d-don't-

Nick: "Uni! *takes another deep breath* you were always so stubborn ya'know"

Uni: "Am not!"

Nick: *laughs* "Ok tell you what if I don't see you using it in school you can have it but promise me you won't use it again"

Uni: "uh.......promise"

Nick: "Ok now lets get to school"

Uni: "Oh I forgot all a bout School! I uh do you know where school is? I have no idea"

Nick: "How do you not know? You weren't the one to move"

Uni: "I'm barely an outside person and you should know that. The only places I go is the woods and other places"

Nick: "Lets just go to school"

Uni: "Ok!"

I see Nick and Uni walk away. What is it? How is Uni hurting himself? How does Nick know him? Wait are they-no I don't think they are but there could be a chance. You know what I will take that chance. But since when did Nick get mad? He never I mean NEVER gets mad. I guess what they were talking about was really serious.

I look at the time on my phone and it's 6:35 (I don't know when you're late in highschool. I don't even go to highschool yet!) I'm gonna be late! Shoot. Now I gotta run to school!

Uni's POV

Nick dragged me out of the forest-like place and to a building. From the groups of teenage kids I knew that it was the school. I wonder how my school year is gonna be like.

It will leave you suffering. Can't we just go steal from people then murder them? No I'm not like you! Yes you are. You are just too scared to adimit it. Let's murder people like we did back then. Don't you remember Uni how fun it was? Doesn't that sound like fun? No! Leave me alone you monster! Well don't give me all the credit. You should have some too since you did it. On. Your. OWN. N-No I-I didn't! You did that! Oh please you did that and I just watched! N-No I wasn't the one who killed peopl-

Nick: "Uni you ok?"

Uni: "Y-Yeah I'm fine. Why d-do you a-ask?"

Nick: "Uni-uh nevermind"

Nick's POV

Why does Uni keep lying to me? I know when he's lying when he studders. He also does that when he's scared. Man why does he have to be so cute?! But seriously what is he not telling me? I'm his childhood friend doesn't he trust me. Maybe he just needs to remember me a little more then he can trust me more. Yeah that's it!

I drag Uni to the front of the school and to my other friends. I wonder what Uni has been doing all these years since I moved. Maybe I have to give him a little more time to regain my trust to tell me what he's doing since I left.

I stop in front of 9 people. They all smile at me and I return the smile back. I can't wait for them to meet Uni!

Nick: "Hey guys!"

Adam: "Hey dude! Where were you?"

Nick: "Oh I was just with a old childhood friend!"

Jin: "Oh cool when can we meet them?"

Nick: "Right now"

I look beside me to see no one. I suddenly felt someone breathing behind me. I turn my head and see Uni hiding behind me. Why does he have to be so cute?! Thats my lil bro. Well at least thats what he is to me. Uni is like a little brother to me. (Yeah I now that you guys thought Nick liked Uni. You know you did).

He looked over my shoulder to see Jin, Jess, Max, Adam ,Ross, Red, Barney, Shelby, and of course Cory. Uni made a little meep sound then hid behind me again. He is so cute! Everyone of my friends looked at him like he was the cutest thing in the world.

Jess: "Aww he is so cute! Can you come out from behind Nick so you can introduce yourself?"

Nick: "He's a little shy. I don't know if he wants to"

I felt a little tug on my sweater. I look back at Uni who was still behind my back with a little bit of fear in his eyes. Uni looked alot like a child who was hiding behind their parent's back to hide from someone. I just can't get over how cute he looks.

He whispers something my ear and it made me freeze. Please don't tell them anything about my uncle or that I cut. Please Nick? I turned around and faced Uni making sure that none of my friends got a glimse of him. Don't worry I won't. You can if you feel like they are trust worthy. Uni nods his head but I'm pretty sure that he doesn't want to tell them.

Red: "So....whats his name?"

As I was about to say Uni's name he speaks up but doesn't let them see him.

Uni: "M-My name i-is U-Uni"

Jess: "He's so cute!"

Uni: "T-Thank you?"

Uni slowly comes out from behind my back and looks down playing with his hands. I hear some of them gasp all except for Cory who kinda looked shocked and nervous. Uni closes his eyes er eye expecting them to beat him up.....but they didn't.

Red: "How did you get that eye patch?"

Barney: "Yaler! He's like me's. An eyes patch a days keeps the doctors aways"

Jin: "Wouldn't that get you to the doctor?"

Ross: "What happened to your eye?"

Jess: "Did someone do that to you?"

Shelby: "Where did you get it?"

Uni was being attacked by questions. He looked very scared. I knew I had to do something.

Uni's POV

I felt like I had a massive headache. I was scared on the outside but on the inside it felt like forever since I saw people care for me this much. I suddenly look up and see someone with a regular left eye and for his right eye it was camara lenses. He looked familiar but I couldn't place my finger on it. Nick gets in front of me looking at his friends with a small glare.

Nick: "Guy's stop you're scaring him!"

They all stop with the questions and look at me in the eyes. They have worry in their eyes and take on step back. I sigh in relief that they stopped or else my massive headache would've gotten worse.

Nick: "Come on Uni I'll walk you to class"

Uni: "O-Ok. It w-was nice t-to meet y-you"

Nick started walking and I had to run a bit just to catch up with him. I walked next to him looking back at his friends. They all were looking at me then quickly turned away all except the guy with the camara eye. He just kept staring at me. We still didn't introduce ourselfs. I wonder when we can introduce ourselfs properly.

Nick: "I'm sorry about them. They can be a little too curious"

Uni: "It's ok. It felt nice to have someone caring about me like your friends did. I haven't felt so important to people in years. It felt good"

A tear threatened to come out of my eye but Nick stopped it by giving me hug. It surprised me yet confused me. Why did he hug me?

I look at his friends on more time and camera eye guy was looking at us and glaring at Nick. Why was he mad?

Nick: "I'm sorry I left you Uni"

Uni: "It's ok......Big brother"

Nick gives me a smile and lets go of me.

Nick: "Come on little bro let's head to school"

We went inside the school without another word.
