Holy crap on a cracker

Well I hadn't seen Jack today at all so no embarrassment for me. Well that was until the end of the day. I was standing with Will and Bostock in the car park deciding it best not to do any manic dancing today and was just swaying backwards and forwards absentmindedly. Jack wandered over but I kept my head looking down refusing to meet his eyes and kept my mind focused on the music so there was no possible way I could embarrass myself.

I couldn't help but peek a couple of times at Jack's beauty but overall I managed to control the colour of my face and amount of butterflies in my stomach.

About five minutes later my lift came but it was not the person I wanted to see. Archie pulled up on, of course, his death machine. He expertly swept into the parking place next to me, Jack, Will and Bostock and I moaned inwardly.

"NO, NO, NO AND NO!" I frowned shouting at Archie to be heard over the roaring engine. "YOU MUST BE OUT OF YOUR MIND, MATE I'M NOT TOUCHING THAT!"

"ARCHIEEEEEEEE!" Will yelled grinning from ear to ear.

"WILLLLLLLL!" Archie yelled also grinning from ear to ear. "SO WHO ARE THESE LADS!?" He nodded towards Will and Bostock.

" ERM, THIS IS BOSTOCK," he pointed at Bostock who gave a small wave and a forced smile. "AND THIS IS J..."

"ARCHIE, TURN OFF THE ENGINE PLEASE!" I yelled butting in Will's introduction. Archie nodded agreeing and turned the key to stop the deafening sound.

"Ok, so this is Jack," Will finished off. Jack stepped forward confidently showing off his dimples with his shy smile. He ran his hands through his hair and I almost melted on the spot. All three of them started having a deep conversation about Archies motorbike and I slid off to the school toilets.

In front of me stood a tall girl with blonde windswept hair, her face was glowing red and her eyes were manic like they were hurriedly searching for something. That cringe worthy, unattractive girl was unfortunately my reflection in the mirror. I cringed. I was searching for imperfections on my minging face and found quite a few. I grabbed my hairbrush out of my bag and pulled it through my knotty hair, I winced at the jabbing pains but carried on brushing. I took my concealer out of my pocket and rubbed it over my red face trying to make the colour look a bit more humane. I applied some mascara and studied my new quick makeover. Then I grabbed my bag from the floor and flew out the door, I didn't want it to seem like I was constipated or something because the amount of time I've been in there it probably is starting to look like that.

I hastened over to the boys trying not to ruin my hair and for once didn't look at the floor and instead looked confidently straight ahead. I grinned crazily at Archie and nodded "okie dokie, let's rock and roll." I groaned under my breath at what I'd just said. I'm trying to impress Jack not scare him off I reminded myself. Archie frowned bemused at my sudden confidence but shrugged it off and swung one leg over the motorcycle seat and dug the key into the ignition. Butterflies started fluttering in my stomach but I swaggered on up and mounted it side saddle clutching Archies waist.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Mhmmm," I agreed reluctantly.

He started the engine and shifted his position shoving me slightly. My bum slowly started sliding down the seat and I screamed Archie's name but he could not hear me over the revving engine. The motorcycle started to slowly move and my eyes widened in fear. I carried on sliding backwards my grip tightening around Archie's waist as we neared the main road. An irritating itch started to develop on my nose, the kind that could not be ignored. I scrunched my nose wriggling it around trying to stop it from itching. It didn't work. I decided to risk it. I let go of Archie and scratched my nose. In that split second my bum flopped off the seat and i screamed grabbing hold of Archie's face consequently pulling him off the bike with me. I hit the ground still screaming as Archie landed on top of my head laughing. Holy crap on a cracker! I let out an unattractive grunt as Jack and Will sprinted over to us to check if we were ok. Jake helped Archie up and all three of them burst into fits of laughter when the saw the position I was sprawled in. I was in one of those positions that a cartoon man would be in if a cow was about to fall on him! My hands were up in front of my face, my eyes were squeezed shut, my mouth was open, both legs were up in the air in awkward, twisted positions. However if I hadn't put my hands in front of my face Archie could've broken my nose at the best and if I hadn't positioned my legs like that the bike could've fallen on top of me also and caused way more damage so despite their hysterical side of it I could see the logic. I rolled my self over and stood up scowling at the three of them. I spun my head around attempting to flick them in the face with my hair but instead I headbutted Bostock who had come to see what was so funny. Argh!

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I yelled losing my temper.

"Well sorry if I got in the way of your hairflick," Bostock sneered. I ... and stomped off grumbling.

Neither of us had suffered any injuries. I was slightly sore and achy but nothing else. We both clambered back onto the bike, Archie thanking Jack and Will thoroughly and me giving and approving nod at the boys. All three of them stood in a line waving as Archie sped off. I squeezed my eyes shut and groaned into Archie's back replaying the event in my head, each time remembering something more embarrassing!
