Alex

- Currently, he's 40 years old.

- When Alex was 4 years old, he woke up to find that his dad had already gone to work. He went to his parents' bedroom to wake up his mother, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't wake her up: she had died of a brain tumor in her sleep. Alex ran to the neighbors and they made him call the police because they didn't want to get involved.

- After his mother died, Alex and his father drifted further and further apart. When Mr. Kralie remarried, Alex wasn't very open to the idea, but he became close with his new stepsister: Sarah.

- He was described as a teacher's pet in elementary and middle school, but when high school rolled around, he became more quiet and reserved.

- His special interests are hunting, filmmaking, science fiction, Star Wars, and Steven Spielberg films.

- Alex has PTSD from his mother's death. He suffered from nightmares a lot when he was little, and he still does sometimes.

- He has terrible anger issues, but he's trying to control them. He's also annoyed easily.

- As a teenager, Alex developed an interest in hunting and often took his shotgun to the forest behind his house. His favorite game are rabbits.

- One day when he came home from hunting, when he was 15, Alex found his father molesting the then 11-year-old Sarah in the kitchen. In a blind rage, Alex chased his father out to the backyard and shot him dead. He then comforted Sarah until the police arrived (the neighbors had heard the shots and called 9-1-1).

- For his father's death, Alex was sentenced to 3 years in Juvie, but was released early due to the murder being to protect Sarah. Alex and Sarah both had to go to years of therapy, and Alex was never the same. Part of this was because Slenderman had started stalking Alex after the murder of his father.

- He doesn't hate dogs, he just hates Seth's dog because he bit him so hard that he had to get 21 stitches. He ended up eventually killing the poor thing during his mad breakdown.

- Without his glasses, Alex's eyesight is awful.

- Nowadays, Alex still tries to take care of Sarah. He loves her, but he's not good at expressing his feelings.

- He still has feelings for Amy. When Slenderman attacked the two of them, Alex tried to shove Amy into the hall closet to protect her, but ended up accidentally shoving her out the window instead. He still feels terrible about it. Before that, he had been hoping to settle down with her and start a family with her.

Jay

- He's currently 40 years old.

- While Jay was growing up, they lived with his parents and paternal grandparents. He had to be homeschooled due to being bullied for their autism, but the only one who seemed to truly accept Jay for who he was was their grandmother.

- His special interests are filmaking, Lord of the Rings, botany, and zoology.

- When Jay goes nonverbal, they use ASL to communicate with others.

- College was the first time Jay went to school. They were overwhelmed at first, so he signed up for a club for other students with autism, and that was where he met Alex. From there, the two became friends.

- He has a snowglobe collection. Whenever they get overstimulated, he'll always occupy himself with them and that'll calm them down.

- Jay is insecure about their eyes being far apart. As a kid, he was often teased by being called Sid the Sloth.

- Doritos are Jay's comfort food.

- They can be rather apathetic at times, which is one of the reasons a lot of people call them stupid. He also has bad impulse control, which can get them into trouble.

- One of his vocal stims is randomly saying, "slay."

- Right before college, Jay's grandmother died, which motivated him to finish their course and get a degree in filmaking, which she always supported them in doing.

- Jay has a journal full of notes he makes on different types of plants they encounter. They love being outside in the wilderness.

- When Alex shot Jay, he was on the brink of death when Slenderman came by and saved them right before they died. He woke up in the hospital a day later. Jay still has a scar on his abdomen, and some days, it hurts so bad that they have to stay in bed.

- Jay is an introvert, but at the same time, they can be clingy.

- He hates the sound of a gun being fired in a small room due to the gunshot that almost killed them.

- The whole Skully thing was Jay under Slenderman's control. He still has the mask somewhere in the closet, but Slenderman luckily doesn't take control of him anymore. He finds them useless.

Amy

- She's currently 39 years old.

- Amy was the youngest of five sisters. Being the baby of the family, she was pampered, but her sisters often bullied her and commented on her appearance way too much. This led to Amy being insecure about her body and developing an eating disorder in her preteens. Luckily, she was able to recover by college.

- She's plus-sized and has stretch marks.

- Amy has an interest in makeup. She wanted to be a makeup artist for the stars, but obviously, she wasn't able to do so. After the Marble Hornets disaster, she was able to get a job as a freelance makeup artist and retail worker in Denver, Colorado.

- For the longest time, Amy thought she was straight, but that changed after she got to know Jessica.

- Being shoved out of a window by Alex, she was almost killed, but ended up having a bad scar from her scalp to her forehead instead. She was insecure about it for a long time, but she's stopped trying to cover it up with makeup.

- She loves tea. She has a whole collection of flavors in her kitchen, and her favorite flavor is gingerbread chai.

- The event of her falling out a window gave her back problems. Like Brian, she sometimes has to use a pair of crutches.

- She maintains her passion for makeup by doing her own every day and trying on a new look or different style whenever she can. She's tried everything from douyin to trad goth.

- Her favorite holiday is Christmas, which she starts getting ready for as soon as the first of December arrives. She always gets advent calendars for herself, Umber, and Jessica. But she acknowledges that the holiday was stolen from pagan people and she doesn't practice the religious part of it. She just sees the holiday as a fun, cheery time for family.

- Amy's not a natural blonde: she re-dyes her hair every four months.

- Due to having four sisters, she has quite a few nieces and nephews. But she's not in contact with her family anymore because she doesn't want to possibly put them in danger.

Seth

- Currently, he's 40 years old.

- Seth grew up in Minnesota, but when he was 10, his family moved to the south because his mother had gotten a new job. He was pretty socially awkward in school, and he was always a "background character," as he puts it.

- He met Alex in middle school, and they became best friends. Their friendship mainly consisted of Alex jokingly bullying Seth and Seth being Alex's devoted sidekick. They particularly liked to nerd out together. They're not close anymore.

- His hair is ginger, and he's often teased for it.

- Seth's passion for filmaking and photography began when he was gifted a Polaroid camera for his 11th birthday. He was obsessed with it, and his interets only grew from there. He eventually got a college scholarship for photography, and he was excited when Alex asked him to be his cameraman for his student film project.

- His dog was a bulldog named Cashew. When he found out that Alex had killed him, he obviously felt devastated and betrayed. He buried the dog himself and gave him a little funeral.

- After the Marble Hornets disaster, Seth started travelling around the country to try and get away from Slenderman. During this time, he met a woman named Nadja who offered him a place at her house. They started dating, and Seth ended up being a single father when Nadja died while giving birth to their daughter, October.

- To support his family, Seth works as an event photographer, and he specializes in weddings and other milestones. He sometimes has to travel for work, but he always brings home fast food when he returns.

- Seth is kind of chubby. He used to be insecure about it, but he's learned to accept himself.

- He's a huge fan of black and white films. His favorite movie is To Kill a Mockingbird starring Gregory Peck.

- Baseball is his favorite sport. His favorite team is the Minnesota Twins, and he always watches recordings of their games when he's not watching Dr. Who or Lord of the Rings with Jay.

- Seth was pretty shy as a kid, but as he got older, he became more outgoing. He still hangs out near the back, but he's not as introverted as he used to be.

- In his office, he has photos from his various gigs hanging on the walls.

Jessica

- Currently, she's 39 years old.

- She was born in Hawaii.

- When Jessica was 3, her parents won the lottery, and the family of three went on a cruise to celebrate. One night, there was a very bad storm, and while the toddler Jessica was saved by a crew member, her parents didn't make it to the lifeboats in time. They were never rescued, and Jessica was orphaned just like that.

- After her parents died, Jessica was thrown into the foster care system, and she didn't find a stable home for a long time. She was shipped off from home to home. She never felt accepted, and the people who took her in were usually only in it for the money. But when she was 12, she finally found a family she could call her own, and she was adopted by an older infertile couple. From then on, Jessica Kelahi was known as Jessica Locke.

- Growing up, Jessica had a fondness for sports, especially volleyball. Her adoptive dad tried to get her into golf, but she just found it boring.

- She knew from a young age that she liked girls, which her adoptive parents were supportive of. Not long after she was placed with the Lockes, she was assigned a pen pal at her new school. She and her new correspondant, Amy Walters, became very close, and Jessica developed a crush on her.

- Jessica and Jay are best friends. They often get together with their spouses for hangouts or double dates.

- Her nickname is Jess, of course. She hates it when people call her "Jessie."

- Due to being in the foster care system for nine years of her childhood, Jessica has attachment issues. She tries not to show it, though.

- She likes 60's music. Her favorite band is The Beatles.

- Jessica collects vinyl records.

- Her favored clothing style is vintage. She wears a lot of clothes that young men would wear every day in the 50's and 60's, like striped polo shirts with khaki pants.

- To help support Amy and Umber, she works at a construction company. She's become close with most of her team, but at one point, there was a guy who kept cat-calling her. Her boss ignored her at first, but her teammates and Amy backed her up and the guy got fired.

- She still sees Slenderman out of the corner of her eye sometimes, but she tries her best to ignore him.

Sarah

- She's 36 years old.

- When Sarah was 5 years old, her widowed mother married Mr. Kralie. Sarah never liked her stepfather and always had a bad feeling about him, but she immediately became attached to her older stepbrother. And while Alex found Sarah annoying at first, he eventually stopped being annoyed when she kept followed him around the house.

- Obviously, the event of Sarah getting molested when she was 11 left her scarred for life. While her mother often invalidated her trauma and insisted that she just "move on," Alex was always there for her and vouched for her to get therapy. She's forever grateful to her brother and has never given up on him, even with everything that happened in college.

- Growing up, Sarah was shy at school and was often bullied by the popular girls. She always tried her best to fit in, but she would always be let down. She only had a few friends throughout middle school and high school.

- During Sarah's first year of college, Alex asked her if she would be an actress in a student film he was working on. She agreed, and she immediately got on with most of his friends, especially Brian.

- Sarah has always been close with Amy. Even after Amy and Alex broke up, Sarah still kept in touch with her and even attended Amy and Jessica's wedding. She even offered Alex to come with her, but Alex flatly refused.

- From a young age, Sarah had an interest in the culinary arts. She started watching MasterChef as soon as it came out, and she's a huge fan of both Gordon Ramsay and Julia Child. She loves quoting both of them.

- She and Alex live in a cabin in the Rocky Mountains not far from Denver. While she works, Alex takes care of the house. Sarah does her best to take care of her brother, even when Alex insists he doesn't need her overworking herself.

- Sarah is very devoted to her brother's kid, Umber. Oftentimes, she ends up being the sort of ambassador between Umber and Alex, and she always tries her best to keep them from fighting.

- To support herself and Alex, Sarah has a job as a cook in a busy restaurant in Denver. Money is often tight, but she makes it work. Alex always has a tub of warm water for her feet ready when she comes home after her long shifts.

- Her favorite genre of music is country, which annoys Alex, but Sarah doesn't care. She has a playlist that she listens to when practicing her cooking.
