Introduction

Hello everyone, for those who are reading this story. I would like to read to you all about how this event changed my life, to this day. For those of you who are confused, I will explain this to you all. It all started in 2003, when I was only 7 year old at that time, I was surfing on the internet because I wanted to find something to watch, since I was bored. But then.. I found something that caught my attention and made me interested.

That show that I found... was Making Fiends. For those who don't know what Making Fiends is, I will explain this to you. Making Fiends is about a little girl named Vendetta, who creates fiends and manages to terrify the town with her fiends that she created. Then this was another girl named Charlotte, who wanted to be friends with Vendetta. But Vendetta can't stand her and tries to plot her end.

Making Fiends was created in Summer 2003, by Amy Winfrey, on the website that has 21 episodes and an April fools episode. The animation of the cartoon is way different than the one in late 2008. When I first saw it, I was Interested and enjoyed watching the website version of Making Fiends. But in October 2008, I saw that Making Fiends was aired on Nickelodeon and it was completely different from the website version. First off, the lyrics of the show are completely different from the website version.

Second, the animation of the show has improved and it's a lot better than the original from the website. And lastly, the graphic of the show is improved and it's better than the website version of the cartoon. I still like both of them, since it was my favorite show in my childhood. I like every character in the show... all but one. The one character that I least like is Vendetta.

You may be wondering, why is Vendetta my least favorite character of the show? The reason for it is because of how she treated Charlotte. I get the idea of how she hated her, but I didn't know that she really wanted to destroy her permanently with her friends. Yet of course, Vendetta's plans always fail and get very frustrated by her failure. Whenever I see her on the show, inside my mind, I have a bad feeling that One day, Vendetta will actually kill her, and there will be no turning back.

However, the TV Series was cancelled on Nickelodeon and it stopped rerunning the show ever since. This of course, made me sad because I wanted to see more of Making Fiends and wanted to know if there are any new episodes coming up. So I began rewatching the show on the website to have some childhood memories that I used to watch. But... one day, I saw something that made me change to this very day.

Lost Episode

On October 31, 2020, I was 24 year old and was getting ready to go to bed at 1AM. The reason for it, because I was so busy finishing all of the work from college. The minute I finished my work, I decided to turn on the TV and switch the channel to Nickelodeon. But the minute I switched to Nickelodeon, something caught me in my very own eyes. It was a commercial for a new episode of Making Fiends and here is what it said.

"Coming up next, a very special episode of Making Fiends is about to come on and it is for a limited time! Only on Nick@Nite."

When I saw this, I was very confused about what I just saw. First of all, the show was cancelled long ago and they haven't made any more new episodes since then. And second of all, why would they air a new episode of Making Fiends at 1AM in the morning on Nick@Nite. But at the same time, I was excited to see this very special episode that I have never seen before. Once I saw it, I immediately sat down on the couch and began getting ready to see the special episode.

After the episode of Full House had finished, the commercial came up and here is what it said.

"And now, It's time for the very special episode of Making Fiends, Next!! Only on Nick@Nite!!"

When the commercial bumper ends, the screen cuts to black for like 3 minutes. Once the screen comes back, it shows a background and has a small picture of an icon of the show at the bottom right side. But it also has a text on it, and it said these following words.

"Warning: This is very highly recommended, for you to watch with a parent or a guardian! Because this episode that you are about to watch, will traumatize you or severely scare you, that you will not be able to sleep! Viewers are advised!!"

After I saw the text, I was very confused and suspicious about what I just read. First of all, they would never show that to any kids show that aired on TV. And second of all, what do they mean "Traumatize you or severely scare you?" This seems very suspicious of seeing this message on Making Fiends. So I examined this very special episode on TV, to see if this was true.

But boy... I just made a big mistake that changed my life, to this day. About 8 minutes later, the intro played and it was completely normal. But when the part of Charlotte first appeared, it was completely different. First, Charlotte wasn't there and instead of saying "Then there came another girl, who wanted to be friends". It said "It came from a dead girl, who lived a good life."

And second, the actor who sang the lyrics of the show sounded a bit depressed and the music was a bit messed up. When it said that, Vendetta wasn't there as well and instead of saying "Vendetta cannot stand her, so she plots her end". It said, "Vendetta went too far, so she suffered." Once it said that, instead of showing Hamsters taking Charlotte and putting her on TNT's. It shows that Hamster was crying on the ground for some reason.

This was very odd because Hamster never cried before in the show. And plus, Hamster was crying as if he had lost someone. When it showed Hamster was crying, it showed the next scene of lots of fiends walking, like how the intro goes. But the only difference was Vendetta was not on the fiends this time. And it shows Hamster walking with the rest of the fiends as well.

Thes rest of the lyrics are normal, until it shows the fiends stopped like how it normally was. After the fiends stopped, the last part of the lyrics was different. Instead of saying "Making fiends while Charlotte makes friends". It said, "Making fiends.. while they mourn". This scene was different, instead of showing Charlotte showing them a heart card.

It showed that those fiends, including Hamster, were crying and mourning at the gravestone that said "RIP Charlotte, You will be missed and you are the nicest girl in Clamburg". Not only this screen was different, the actor that does the lyrics, was more depressed and the music was now more messed up than ever. Once the intro finished, the screen cut to black and this time, it lasted for only 10 minutes. The only sound that you can hear was the actors crying quietly, like they were depressed. When I saw this, I was very concerned and confused about how the intro goes.

One.. The intro went from normal, to a depressing intro of the show. Two... How did Charlotte die and does Vendetta have to do something with it? And three... I can now see why they put the warning message on the TV about this episode. After the screen came back, it showed the title card and boy... It was not like the title card I had ever seen. It was a complete darkness with Charlotte holding a title card up her hands.

But.. Charlotte looks completely depressed, awfully pale and has a deep dark circle around her eyes, like if she didn't get enough sleep or was crying too much. Not only that, her face looks very sad and has a pained expression on her face. But the one thing that creeped me out was the audio of the title card. The audio was playing in a very eerie tone and the title of the card said "Vendetta Redemption". This made me shocked and concerned at the same time, because Charlotte is always a happy bright girl inside the show.

But for this episode, Charlotte was completely depressed and I realized what redemption meant. I now have the feeling of what Vendetta has done to this poor innocent girl. When it showed the title card, the episode began with everyone in class like how most episodes do in school. It showed that they were doing nothing, since all of the fiends ate all the books and school supplies. Charlotte, on the other hand, seemed to be making a paper hat and began singing like usual.

But Vendetta, on the other hand, began scolding her about how she doesn't want her to sing. And of course, Charlotte began doing her usual stuff to get Vendetta to be her best friend. However, Vendetta angrily leaves the room and how she wanted to destroy her, by making more fiends like how every episode does. It then went to the next scene, inside the cafeteria, where every student was there. This scene showed Charlotte throwing all of the clams, beef jerky and grape punch in the garbage and making some delicious lunch made out of vegetables.

Once she has finished making some delicious lunch, Charlotte then begins serving all of the food that she has made, to everyone inside the cafeteria. It seems that this episode is going smoothly, and nothing too bad about it, right? But boy.... I was wrong. While everyone was enjoying Charlotte food.. Vendetta burst into the door and saw everyone else, not eating the food that she liked. This made Vendetta very angry and immediately went to Charlotte, about why everyone else was not eating clams, beef jerky and grape punch.

Charlotte then explains how everyone should be eating something else, instead of eating clams, beef jerky and grape punch. Here's what both of them said.

Vendetta (Very Angry): What did you do with my clams, beef jerky and grape punch!!!?

Charlotte (Happy): Oh, I decided to throw all of them out because they need to eat something else instead of the Triangle Of Tastiness.

After Charlotte said that, things started to get dark. Vendetta was furious and she then grabbed her in the collar in the most violent way and began scolding her. But while she was scolding, Vendetta was saying a lot more cruel things to her and how she wishes to destroy her. When she said that, Vendetta then pushed Charlotte off the table in the most violent way.

This what I saw, made me angry, the reason for it was because of how Vendetta treated Charlotte so badly. Not only that, she is saying a lot more cruel things than usual. Once she did that, Vendetta began leaving the cafeteria, while Charlotte got up and moaned due to the amount of pain on her head. After she got up, Charlotte began releasing snake tears coming out of her eyes and began to mumble quietly. I couldn't understand what she was saying, because of how quietly she mumbled.

When she did that, the screen cut to black for 15 minutes, and all I could hear was the faint crying sound of Charlotte. Now... I was starting to get very concerned about this episode. The reason for this is because every episode lasted for 16 minutes, since it plays only two episodes on TV. But for this episode... It lasted for an hour, since I checked the schedule on TV. Plus, there was no description for this episode as well.

By now I wanted to change the channel, but soon I was about to do it. The crying gets louder, when I ever tried to change the channel. So I have continued watching this so-called "Special Episode". Once the screen came back, it showed Charlotte inside her room, crying to herself while writing a somewhat apology note to Vendetta. After she did that, Charlotte looked at the screen for 4 minutes.

When Charlotte stared at the screen for 4 minutes, she then said something that made me uncomfortable.

Charlotte (Depressed): I think it would be better, if I was gone from earth.

Once Charlotte said that, I was uncomfortable about what she just said, planning to take her life away. After that, it showed the next scene of Charlotte outside of the school, creating a somewhat fiend that she got from Vendetta house, to show how sorry she was. Right at the moment that Charlotte was about to finish, Vendetta came by and she said these following words.

Vendetta: Hey stupid girl!! What are you doing!?

Charlotte: Uh, I'm making something special for you.

Vendetta: Hah!! I don't what you're stupid garbage!!

Charlotte (Sad): *Starting to cry* But Vendetta.. I-I work very hard to make this present for you.

Vendetta: *Being Cruel* HAH!!! I bet it's one of those pieces of garbage that you ever made!! And by the way, what do you use to make this kind of trash!

Charlotte (Crying): *Tears coming down her eyes* I used all of your ingredients from your house... that you used to make fiends.

When Charlotte said that, and boy things... went extremely bad and the most fuck up moment, that I ever seen. Vendetta's face turns red and goes berserk about how she stole all of her ingredients without permission. But what I saw.. was truly the most violent and horrifying scene that I ever saw. Vendetta began punching Charlotte so brutally, and began kicking her so hard in the stomach. This scene was so loud that it made my ear bleed.

I tried to change or turn off the TV, but for some reason, it wouldn't work. So I have no choice, to watch this disturbing episode of Making Fiends. This lasted for 3 minutes until Vendetta finished brutally beating her up. Once it was over, the camera zoomed to Charlotte's body, which was covered in bruise marks, a bloody nose and a black eye. After it showed Charlotte's body, Vendetta then said something that she crossed the line.

Vendetta (Furious): I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU STOLE MY INGREDIENTS TO MAKE THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE!!!! EVER SINCE YOU CAME TO CLAMBURG, YOU HAVE BEEN TORTURING ME WITH YOUR STUPID HAPPINESS!!! YOU ARE A MISTAKE, A DISGRACE AND A BLACK SHEEP TO EVERYONE!!! THAT'S WHY YOUR PARENTS ARE IN A BETTER PLACE AWAY FROM YOU!!!

When Vendetta said that, Charlotte was now traumatized and heartbroken about what Vendetta just said to her. This... made me extremely angry and sad about what Vendetta just said to her, and how I felt bad for Charlotte at the same time. Unaware that the whole class, students and even the teacher heard everything that she just said to Charlotte. Once that happened, Charlotte immediately ran straight back home while she was sobbing very loudly. At this point, I was about to cry due to how heartbroken my favorite character is.

After she immediately ran straight back home, the screen cut to black again, and this time it lasted for 4 minutes. The only sound you can hear is Charlotte sobbing very loudly in a creepy tone. This made me feel chills in my stomach, due to how creepy the audio was. About 4 minutes later, the screen came back, and it showed Charlotte writing a letter. But I noticed
Charlotte looked exactly like how the episode title card looked.

The only difference is that Charlotte was still crying and how messed up her hair is. When she finished writing the letter, Charlotte then went to the closet and found a rope that she used to catch the pony in one of the episodes called "Pony". This is when I realized what she was about to do. Once she found it, Charlotte then made a noose on top of the ceiling of her bedroom. The screen froze for a good few seconds, and it showed Charlotte staring at the screen.

After she did that, Charlotte said something that brought me to tears.

Charlotte (Heartbroken): *Tears coming down her eyes* For those who are watching this... I wanted to say goodbye to the world and goodbye grandma. I will miss you. And those who hated me, I will make sure you suffer for life. Farewell.

Right after Charlotte said that, she then hangs herself in the noose, and showed the lifeless body of a sweet innocent girl that just committed suicide by Vendetta. Again, the screen froze, but this time the quality was blurry and it was kinda hard to see. The screen froze for a good 3 minutes, until it showed the next scene. About 3 minutes later, it showed Charlotte Grandmother opening the door and saw something that made her scream. When she did that, Charlotte grandma... saw her lifeless granddaughter hanging herself in the noose, inside her bedroom.

This of course, made her grandmother cry because she just lost her only grandchild in her family. After she did that, Charlotte Grandmother found a letter on her table. Once her grandmother saw it, she then began reading the letter and here's what the note said.

"Dear everyone

I wanted to say I'm deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, for the actions that I have caused to you people. I know I can be a bit annoying, but all I wanted.. is to have a best friend to spend time with. But I think it would be better, if I was gone from earth.... especially for Vendetta. Grandma... if you are reading this, I wanted to say you have always been my best grandmother that I ever had. I know, you're the reason why I'm always happy all the time.

And also, how you take care of me since my parents are in a better place without me. But since I am gone, you will always be my grandmother inside the bottom of your heart. Hamster... if you are reading this as well, I wanted to say I'm sorry for bothering you and all the stuff that I did to make you not happy. Hopefully you can understand what I am saying. For everyone else... if you're reading this, I wanted to say I'm sorry for causing all the trouble to you guys.

And how I always cause more bad things to happen, and put your life at risk by those fiends. Vendetta......... if you are reading this, I wanted to know that you finally got your wish. I hope this makes you happy because you are nothing but a selfish spoiled little brat that you are. Not only have you hurt my feelings, you forced everyone to do your stuff and forced Hamster to kick me out violently. But anyway, since I'm gone for good, I hope you enjoy your life... you heartless monster

Sincerely - Charlotte"

When Charlene, who's Charlotte grandmother has finished reading the letter, she began crying and sobbing a lot about how Charlotte committed suicide due to how much hatred she gets from Vendetta. But at the same time, she slowly grew angry and angrier. After she did that, the next scene showed Hamster walking down to the Clamburg's Onion Stand with Vendetta's parents inside the cage, since they were shrunken. As soon as he was about to get the onion on the stick, Charlene immediately came up to them and said these following words.

Charlene (Very Furious): *Tears coming down her eyes* HAMSTER!!!!!!!!

Hamster (Very Scared): HMMMM!!!!

Once Hamster saw her come, Charlene immediately grabbed Hamster in the collar and then said something that I have never heard in my entire life.

Charlene (Very Furious): *Tears coming down her eyes while grabbing Hamster by the collar* DO YOU KNOW WHAT VENDETTA JUST DID TO MY CHILD!!!!!!

Hamster (Very Scared): *Shake his head of saying no* HMM!!

Violetta (Very Scared): U-U-Um no!! I don't know what you're talking about!!??

Viktor (Very Scared): Yeah!!!

Charlene (Very Furious): *Tears coming down her eyes while grabbing Hamster by the collar* VENDETTA HAS CAUSED MY ONLY FAMILY MEMBER NAMED CHARLOTTE TO COMMITTED SUICIDE!!!!!!

When Charlene said that, both Vendetta parents and Hamster was shocked and horrified to hear the news that Charlotte has committed suicide by Vendetta. By now, they felt so guilty, about not stopping Vendetta of causing Charlotte to commit suicide. But again, I really wanted to change the channel.. But I also want to see more of this episode at the same time. So I continued watching the episode, and it showed Vendetta parents telling them how deeply sorry they are and how they should have stopped Vendetta in the first place. Not only that, it showed Hamster who is now feeling guilty, and decided to comfort Charlene while she's crying.

But for some strange reason, Hamster began to realize that Charlotte would have been his only best friend, if he accepted her to be his friend. After Hamster confort Charlene, she then shows them the letter of what Charlotte wrote, before she died. While she shows them the letter, both Vendetta parents and Hamster was reading the letter of Charlotte last words, before she committed suicide. Once they finished reading the letter, Violette, Viktor and even Hamster, were crying due to how sad and heartbroken the letter was from the bottom of Charlotte's heart. When they did that, Charlene then told them to help her build the best funeral for Charlotte, so that she can be remembered in the whole town.

This of course, made three of them agree and help her build the funeral for Charlotte. But the Hamster decided to let Vendetta's parents free from the cage and use some kind of growth potion, to turn them back to their normal size. This scene of what I just saw made me feel glad and somewhat thankful for Hamster to finally come to his senses and decide to care for Charlotte rather than Vendetta. After that, the screen cuts to black again, but this time... it lasted for only 30 seconds. Once the screen comes back, it then shows the scene of the funeral, outside of the school and everyone else in Charlotte's school, who are invited to her funeral.

When it showed the funeral, everyone who were Charlotte's friends was there and they were crying as well from the letter that Charlene showed them of Charlotte's last words. While the funeral was started, it showed each of the characters saying their goodbyes to Charlotte about how sweet she is and how she is the happiest girl in Clamburg's. After everyone including Hamster finished saying their goodbyes to Charlotte... Out of nowhere, Vendetta.. That little bastard then came to the funeral and said something that made me furious.

Vendetta: Wait that stupid girl is gone!!! Hooray!! Let's celebrate Charlotte's stupid disapparrence!!

Those words of what Vendetta just said, really wanted to make me punch her in the face so hard and break my TV at the same time. Not only that, Vendetta said the most fucked up thing inside someone else's funeral. Yeah I get that she is evil, but this.... This is way too far for vendetta. Once Vendetta said that, everyone in the funeral, eyes grew wider of anger and Vendetta parents were extremely furious at her. While she was laughing, Violetta immediately went up to her and slapped her in the face so hard that you can see the hand mark on her face.

When Violetta did that, Vendetta then said these following words.

Vendetta: W-What!! How did you get back to your normal size!!

Violetta (Very Furious): DON'T YOU RAISED YOUR VOICE AT ME, YOUNG LADY!!!! THANKS TO YOU, THIS POOR NICE LADY HAS JUST LOST HER DAUGHTER BECAUSE OF YOU!!!

After Violetta said that, Vendetta was shocked that her own mother would slap her in the face for the first time in her entire life. But then.. two police men immediately came and began arresting her. Once they did that, Vendetta began commanding them to let go, but they both refused. Vendetta begged her parents to bail her out, but they didn't respond and didn't want to talk to her ever again. But what made her shocked the most... is that Hamster decided to take her parents side and doesn't want anything to do with Vendetta.

This... made Vendetta very sad and made small tears come down her eyes, of how Hamster hated her, this whole time. When that happened, the police man began leaving and everyone was now happy that Vendetta was gone. But they 're still sad about how Charlotte is gone. Immediately after the scene... the screen cuts to black and it lasts for only 10 seconds. After it came back, it showed a black background with a white text and it said "10 Years Later".

When it showed the message on the screen, the next scene showed Vendetta sitting on the floor in a fetal possession with messed up hair. Not only that, she began to mumble about something that is causing her to go crazy. I could have tell, that she is being haunted by someone I know. After it showed Vendetta mumbling on the floor, then all of a second... a ghost figure that looked exactly like Charlotte of how Vendetta beat her up. But the only main difference is her eyes... her eyes are lifeless like a zombie.

When she appeared, Vendetta got up and her eyes widened from what she just saw. Once Vendetta saw her, she immediately went to the corner of the wall and she then said these following words.

Vendetta (Terrified): C-C-CHARLOTTE!!!!!??

Charlotte: *In a ghostly tone* Yeah... that's me a stupid blue girl that you always hated!

Vendetta: *Began to cry* Charlotte!! I'm sorry alright!! I'm deeply sorry that I did this to you!! Please forgive me!! Please!! Please!! Please!!

Charlotte:: *In a ghostly tone* I'm sorry Vendetta! But I can not forgive you... that actions that you have done, was unforgivable. I'm sorry, but you have to live with it for the rest of your life now. So... Goodbye, Vendetta.

After the soul of Charlotte said that, she began to disappear and Vendetta began crying on the floor, sobbing uncontrollably. So now... Vendetta is suffering from the guilt that she has caused from 10 years ago, inside the show. When she did that, it lasted for 9 minutes until the episode ended. Once the episode ended, it showed the end credits of the show, but it was playing off a very creepy broken music box in the background. When it finished showing the end credits, it showed the lifeless body of Charlotte standing in complete darkness.

But when it shows her in the complete darkness, Charlotte then said something that I could never forget.

Charlotte: For those who watch this show, I wanted to say.... When you are a bully. Please don't do what Vendetta did to me... it would not make you a better person. And those who loved me, I wanted to say thank you for the support and I will always love you. So whenever you make friends... Please be kind and don't say anything that you will deeply regret. So farewell... everyone. I will always love you.

After she said that, the episode ended. Once the episode ended, I began to cry of what Charlotte just said. The reason for this is because, one, it showed how sad the episode was instead of a horror comedy show. Two, Charlotte my favorite character, has suffered a lot and committed suicide by Vendetta. And there, those words of what Charlotte just said, have touched me in the bottom of my heart.

Two Days Later

About two days later, I got an email from my computer, while I was finishing all of my work from college. Once I finished all of my work, I checked the email and I saw something.. that made me remember from two days ago. The email that I looked at... Was the letter from... Charlotte. Here's what the letter said.

"Dear Angelica

I saw you watching the episode from two day ago and I can tell that you are truly a good friend to your friends. The reason I'm telling you this is because... I am gone and I saw how you felt about how I died. I know how sad and heartbroken you are and that's ok... because you have watched every episode of me and showed that you truly loved me. Not only that... you are a kind person to your friends and family. But since I'm gone... I will always remember you in the bottom of my heart. Just remember... don't say something hurtful that you will regret.

Sincerely - Charlotte"

When I finished reading the email, I began to cry after reading this email because it showed how my favorite character talked to me and how I truly felt after she died. Not only that, how does she know that I watch every episode of her and even the episode from two days ago. And how does she know my name as well? But anyway, since then, I continued watching Making Fiends and began drawing my favorite characters on Deviantart. I still can't forget the episode of what I just watched and those words of what Charlotte said, to this day.

For anybody who is reading this story, if you decide to watch any special episode, do so in caution. And if you don't have something nice to say... don't say nothing at all, or you could wind up like Vendetta. So anyway, this is how my story ends and hopefully this can teach you all a valuable lesson, to this day.
