Gaming Creepypasta Story I - Daxter PSP Creepypasta Part 1

Note: DO NOT STEAL THIS STORY!!!!!!! Also this story will have more than one parts due to how long the game is!!

Well hello everyone, for those who are reading this story, I would tell you all a story of how my life changed and how I could never forget those memories that I have ever experienced. But for those who don't understand this incident, I would happily explain to you all of how it happened. It all started when my 19 year old self applied for a job at a local GameStop store that is not far from my apartment home. The job I worked at isn't that bad, all I have to do is put old or new games on the shelves and put the rest inside the storage room. Most of the games that GameStop has are Nintendo, Xbox, rarely Wii and mostly PlayStation games as well.

I myself loved PlayStation games and I remembered that I have one particular game that I used to love. That game of what I'm talking about is Daxter. If you guys know what Daxter is then you guys will remember that game back in Late 2000's or the early 2010s. However, if you guys don't know what Daxter is, I will explain to you all of what that game is. Daxter is about a game when Daxter himself as a Precursor Ottsel and his best friend Jak that were separated from the portal and crash into Haven City.

After that, Jak gets arrested by the Krimzon Guard while Daxter runs away from them. Also this game explains what Daxter has been doing for the last two years, and it shows how Daxter went through his own adventures to save Jak from those Krimzon Guards inside Prison. For those who remember this game or not, Daxter is a one of the Spin-off games of Jak and Daxter series unlike Jak X. Unlike most Jak and Daxter games, this game was released on PSP and same thing for Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier. However, unlike those other PSP games during that time in the late 2000's, it's one of the best PSP games to play and this game is also part of the Jak and Daxter storyline as well.

If you play this game or not, Daxter takes place after Jak and Daxter and before Jak II. With this game, it makes the storyline easy to understand and not get confused if you played Jak II. Unlike most Jak and Daxter games, you can actually play as Daxter, the main character of the game. In this game, Daxter is hired by Osmo the owner of Haven City's Kridder Ridder Extermination Company to get rid of the Metal Head Bugs. In most Jak and Daxter games, this one is like how Jak and Daxter is by collecting Precursor Orbs and Skulls Gems by defeating Metal Heads.

The Precursor Orbs are not that rare to find in Jak and Daxter and Daxter (PSP) as well. But in Jak II and Jak III, the Precursor Orbs are very rare to find and can be found in some areas and complete missions as well. Also in this game, instead of the enemies called Metal Heads, they are actually called Metal Bugs. In Daxter, you received a weapon called an Electric Bug Swatter when you finished entering Osmo Kridder Ridder Shop to kill those Metal Bugs inside the game. It is very important to use this weapon in order to defeat enemies in this game.

But it's very easy to receive this weapon after you enter the shop at the start of the game. Most Jak and Daxter games including this one, are required to finish the missions in order to go to the next area. However, in this game you have to collect the amount of Skull Gems in order to complete the mission in each area you enter. But later on in the game, you can receive a Spray Gun that is found in Construction Site I which can stun enemies for a couple of seconds. In order to use it, you have to Press O to spray the Metal Bugs to stun them.

It is useful to do so in order to attack the enemies without them taking damage on you. But it is important to refill the Spray Gun by finding green spouts in order to refill the Spray Gun. Later on the game, you will receive a modification of a Pressure Boost in order to hover through the game starting from the Brewery. To hover through the levels of the game, you have to Jump which is Press X and Press O to hover in the air. This part is incredibly important to go through any pathway to go through the level easier.

There are also two more upgrades of the Spray Gun that can be more powerful and useful to use in order to complete the missions easier. The first one is the Flamethrower and it can be switched by using the Arrows buttons of the PSP. With this upgrade, you can receive it by completing Tanker I of the level and this is one of the second most powerful weapons to use in Daxter. The Flamethrower can actually hover much higher in the air and can kill most metal Bugs instantly. However, the only downside about this weapon is that it wastes more of the ammunition and it should be carefully used when necessary and must be refilled often.

However, there's one that it's one of my most favorite weapons that I loved to use when playing Daxter. That weapon of what I'm talking about is the UltraSonic Attachment. The UltraSonic Attachment is one of the most powerful weapons to use in Daxter. What this weapon does is that it releases a blue sphere of explosive energy and can kill almost all the enemies instantly except for the bosses. Not only that, this weapon also has a much wider radius of it's attack and it can hover as high as the Flamethrower.

But the only downside about this weapon is that it takes five shots to use up all of the ammunition. The reason for this is because this weapon is very powerful and it should be used when necessary for attacking enemies. So this weapon needs a lot of refilling by getting a lot of green spouts throughout the level. Also you can receive this kind of attachment/weapon by entering Strip Mine II which is later in the game. And finally, there's some mini games that can be played inside this game of Dream levels that can give you different melee attacks or increase your health bar.

But there is also the Bug Combat mini game that can be unlocked by gathering Bug Cages and other items like the Bug Juice Vivals and Battle Tokens as well. In this mini game, you can use your combat bugs to fight other enemies as well. However, sadly no one ever played this type of mini game anymore and it's mostly forgotten by now. Also you can play the Dream Mode by collecting the amount of Precursor Orbs that it costs to play the selected dream level. Well since I happily explained to you what the game is about, I will continue telling you all about my experience for this story.

Like I said before, I loved PlayStation games and especially Daxter. Back then I used to have a Daxter PSP UMD when I was 12 and I was really good at the game. I used to play the game more than one time and played the Dream levels to see how much score I have beaten. However, I gave away the game to someone else because I was getting too good at it. But sadly, it was one of the moments that I made a hard choice of giving the game away to someone else.

Anyways, I got over it and decided to move on with my life. Since then, I haven't thought about the game and continued moving on with my life. Well everything was going well for me until one day, that one incident changed my life to this very day. One day on December 24, 2020, It was 7:00 PM at night and it was closing time on Christmas Eve. I myself was finishing putting all the game back inside the shelves and began to leave the store.

But when I was about to head out of the store, my boss Mr. Wilson stopped me and handed me something that I was so surprised about. What he gave me is one of the video games that is wrapped in PlayStation wrapping paper that has a note on it that says "Here's your special gift that you might enjoy playing it". Once Mr. Wilson handed me a gift, I thanked him for the gift and headed straight back home. Right when I arrived back home, I immediately put the game on the desk inside the living room and began relaxing from the hard work I did on my job. While I was relaxing from my job, I looked at the present and began to be curious about what kind of game he gave me as a gift.

But inside my curious mind, I decided to not unwrap it and waited for tomorrow to open it. It was Christmas morning inside my apartment, I began to wake up and decided to open up a present of what my boss had given to me. When I finally unwrapped the present Mr. Wilson gave me, I saw a game that made my eyes widened and shocked at the same time. It was a PSP cover case of Daxter and it looked like it was in mint condition. Not only that, I opened the cover and the PSP UMD of Daxter was in mint condition as well.

[This is what the game cover looks like after the present has been unwrapped]

This made me extremely happy to receive my favorite childhood game for Christmas. But at the same time, I was confused about how Mr. Wilson had the game and it wasn't even inside the storage room inside the shelves. So I decided to get my old PSP inside the drawers inside the living room and put the UMD of Daxter inside my PSP. Once I put the UMD of Daxter inside my PSP, I started the game and it showed the same usual Sony Computer Entertainment America Presents screen like how other games do on PSP. About a couple seconds later, it shows the Title screen of Daxter and I remembered how this music feels so nostalgic of playing back to this game, when I was 12.

Since I was too excited to play back to this game, I immediately Pressed X on the New Game and it showed the intro of how Samos from Jak and Daxter games began telling the story of how the Daxter adventure began. This is my favorite part of the cutscene of his quotes.

Samos: "In the great struggle of good versus evil, there is often more to a hero than meets the eye. Just as the plants have their hidden roots, and rocks. When turned over, reveal their dark underbelly with all manner of surprises. So too is the great story of Jak and his epic fight to save Haven City. Every mother's child has heard this story well, but most have heard only half the tale. For as great as Jak was, he would never have succeeded without his often forgotten but faithful sidekick, Daxter. In my many years as a sage, and trust me it's a big number. I've learned one very important truth. Behind every great hero... There is always a wisecracking... Obnoxious... Nincompoop! This is his story."

While it finished showing the beginning of the cutscene, it then showed the title of Daxter while zooming inside of Haven City and showed the scene where one of the workers began leaving. Osmo begged him to not quit but his ex-worker began leaving and told him to find a crazy sucker that can work for him. Right after he left, Osmo was about to head back inside his shop but suddenly, he saw something crashed inside Haven City. This made Osmo curious and began running to the direction of where the crash took place. About a few seconds later, it showed the next scene of where Daxter screams while running away from the Krimzon Guard.

Erol: Forget the rat! The Baron wants him.

Daxter: *Running Away* Don't worry, Jak! I'll save you before you know it!

Around this scene, it showed that Osmo was running toward the crash area, but was stopped by one of the Krimzon Guard. However, right when the Krimzon Guard stopped Osmo from going further, Daxter then jumped and dragged on the Krimzon Guard which made them both fall to the ground and he continued to run away from the enemy.

Krimzon Guard: What was that? Where did he go?

Osmo: Oh? Where did who go?

Krimzon Guard: That little, crazy orange.... Whatever he is. I'll show him!

After the Krimzon Guard said that, he began walking away and Osmo just stared at him out of curiosity. About a few seconds later, it showed a text on the screen that said "Two years later, almost...", like how I remembered when I was 12. This scene is shown at the Brewery at night while Daxter is explaining some stories to the other folks at the bar. While he was doing that, Daxter began explaining his story about how many bad guys he's defeated. But while he was explaining his story, he accidentally fell off the table and they began to laugh at him.

Once Daxter fell down, he got up from the table and begged them to come back to listen to more of his story. However most of them left and Daxter gave up trying to lure them back. Osmo on the other hand, was quite interested in Daxter's story and he continued to explain his story of how he defeated those enemies. That is where Osmo began getting more interested in Daxter and wanted to hire him as a new bug exterminator. Soon, Daxter told him that he hates bugs and said that he would like to work for him.

At that point, this is where Osmo tells him that he would meet him tomorrow at his shop to start his first job. So far everything was going normal how it's going so far. That is when.... the screen fades to black. Since it fades to black, I remember that it only takes a few seconds before starting an actual game. But for some reason, this game that my boss gave me took one minute to start an actual game. Which was quite odd of how it took about long to start an actual game.

[This is where the person starts of when Daxter spawn before enter Osmo Shop]

My first thought was that my PSP was old and it did have quite a few problems with the game that can cause a lag sometimes. But anyways, about one minute later the game finally starts. This was the part of how I can remember all my nostalgic memories of how this game looks exactly like when I played it before. The map of Haven City looks completely normal and the music was normal as well. So I quickly use the Analog Stick to move Daxter and enter the Kridder Shop of where Osmo is at.

When I got inside the Kridder Shop, it showed the cutscene of where Daxter entered the shop and was curious of where Osmo was at. But soon Osmo came out from behind the crates and Daxter began telling of how he's gonna defeat those creepy crawlies bugs. Osmo then began telling him of how Daxter must learn the basics and how himself learned how to haunt bugs with style and classes. He then gives Daxter a Electric Bug Swatter and tells him that his first job is to take out all of the loose bugs from the local hotel. Right after he did that, the cutscene ended and I began saying to myself, "Oh yeah, let's get this game started!!".

So while I did that, I began going to where the Westside Hotel is at and I remember hearing what Daxter and Osmo said to the Communication Device.

Osmo: *Speaking in the Communication Device* Daxter...! I almost forgot to tell you about the Communication Device! I'll use this to keep in touch with you whenever you're away from the Shop. Now you're good to go, my boy.

Daxter: If there's one thing I've learned. You can never have too many of these Precursor Orbs!

While I collected the first Precursor Orb, I went to get the first Health Pack and Daxter then said his usual sentence.

Daxter: A Health Pack! Whoo bet you never guessed that one...

Osmo: *Speaking in the Communication Device* Daxter, that Gold Gem is dropped by all of these new, nasty bugs. Collect as many of these as you can... That's how I get paid!

After Osmo said that from collecting the first Gold Gem, I immediately went to the Westside Hotel entrance. Right when I arrived there, Osmo then said his usual sentence.

Osmo: *Speaking in the Communication Device* That's the Hotel Daxter. Head inside and talk to the Concierge. And remember, your job is to exterminate bugs.

At this point, I began entering the elevator and entered the Westside Hotel level.

[This is what the Westside Hotel Lobby Looks like]

Daxter: Whoa, get a load of this place!

Westside Hotel

Once I entered the level, the lobby was completely normal and I immediately went to where the Concierge's desk is at. I quickly Press X to talk to the Concierge and it shows a cutscene of where he meets Daxter and tells him that his best customer named Mr. Krew, will be pleased that he's here. But the Concierge doesn't like the looks of Daxter and tells him that the bugs are the last exterminator alive. The Concierge then tells him that he would love to let him go to the elevator but he lost the key. So he then tells Daxter to go look around to find the key.

When the cutscene ended, I immediately went to find the key and boy it was so easy since it shows the Light Beacon and I know where it is at. Since I just found the key, I heard the same usual sentence of what Concierge said on the Communication Device.

Concierge: *Speaking in the Communication Device* Thank you. Now, bring me back a nice stack of those Gold-Bug Gems and I'll tell Osmo you've managed better than that last fellow he sent.

While he said that, I began to climb off the left side of the Lobby of where I found the key at. The reason I did that is because I wanted to collect all the Precursor Orbs in order to complete 100% of the game. But anyways, since I collected all of the Precursor Orbs inside the Lobby area, I began going straight to the elevator and began heading to the Arboretum. To be honest, I liked how the elevator music played when I was about to head into the Arboretum. After the elevator stopped, I immediately entered the Arboretum and managed to take out the Termites which are those purple glowing spherical creatures which are easy to take out.

Since I managed to take them out by Pressing Square to attack enemies. But while I managed to take them out, I was about to explore more of the level but I got to the point where the Killer Plants first appeared.

Concierge: *Speaking in the Communication Device* I may have forgotten to feed the plants. I'm afraid...

Right after he said that, I began exploring and found all of the Precursor Orbs that are hidden at. Also, this level has 50 Precursor Orbs and 39 Gold Gems to collect by those Metal Bugs inside this level. However the mission of this level is to collect 25 Gold Gems, but I want to collect all of them in order to complete 100% fully of this level. Since that, I began taking out my first Metal Backs which is a type of Metal Bugs, inside this area. While I managed to defeat my first enemy, I was at the part where Daxter can jump onto those netting to climb.

Daxter: Nyeh, being an Ottsel might be useful after all.

Once Daxter said that, I began attacking those two Metal Backs and collected those few Precursor Orbs and collected my first Combat Bug Cage. So I continued to defeat more of those Metal Backs and collect more of those Gold Gems from defeating these enemies. However, I quickly managed to double Press X and square to get to the platform where you have to use your Spray Gun to hover to get the Precursor Orb. It may not be possible to do that, but I managed to do it at the right time, which allowed me to grab onto the platform. Since then, everything was normal and there was no music at all.

It was normal because there will be no music of this level, until you enter inside a tunnel that will slide you down into a hotel room. While I managed to go through the parts of the area and find all of the Precursor Orbs and defeat those Metal Backs. When I got to the part of where you have to slide down to go inside a hotel room, I quickly went inside the tunnel to slide down and the music game. Thankfully the music was normal and I managed to collect all of the Precursor Orbs in my first try. At this point I managed to defeat a few of those Metal Backs, and go to the other side of the right side of the area.

Now this is where you definitely need a Flamethrower to hover over the path to get the first secret inside this level. The secrets are only collected by finding those pictures that can be destroyed and unlocking some cheats. Some of them are easy and some are not to find throughout the game. Despite this, I managed to do a glitch where you go at the right side of the corner of the edge and double jump and Press Square and do the same thing, until I managed to get to the other side. After I managed to get there, I continued taking out a few of the Metal Backs and found the first secret of the game.

When I got there, I Pressed Triangle to crawl under the door and collect all of the Precursor Orbs and my first Bug Juice Vial inside the area. Right when I did that, I began going back to the other path and I heard his usual sentence of Concierge voice of the Communication Device.

Concierge: *Speaking in the Communication Device* Oh, did I forget to give you the room keys? Well, you'll find a way.

Once he said that, I began crawling under the door and took out those termites. However, I continue to go find Precursor Orbs inside the Dining Hall and my first Battle Token inside the door of the area. But so far everything was going normal and I managed to find every Precursor Orbs inside the First Lounge and the Second Lounge. Not only that, I managed to defeat every Metal Backs and collect all of the Gold Gems of the level. When I managed to collect all of the Gold Gems of the level, I jumped off one the bed and landed on the chandelier.

Since I did that, I began crawling through the vents and entering a part of where you have slid down to exit the level. But I decided to go to the part of where most people miss the one Precursor Orb at the left side of the area. So I managed to jump through the path at the right time and got the one Precursor Orb. Right after I did that, I went back to the path of where to slide and Daxter then said his usual sentence.

Daxter: Looks like the express exit for the Daxternator!

While Daxter said that, I began sliding down the tunnel and it was a bit wider than the other one. Also there are obstacles that can hurt you pretty bad if you fail to move into the other direction. So I carefully steer left and right and collect all of the Precursor Orbs inside the level. After I managed to escape the tunnel, I began entering an elevator which led me back to the Lobby. This made me immediately head toward the Concierge and I Press X to talk to him.

Concierge: *Speaking in the Communication Device* You've exceeded my expectations. Payment received in full, and I'll be phoning your employer immediately. Now off you go!

Once the cutscene was over, I managed to complete the mission and began heading out of the hotel room. While I was heading to the Construction Site I, Osmo then said his usual quote when completing the first level.

Osmo: *Speaking in the Communication Device* Good work Daxter. I hear you did a smash-up job. *Couple seconds later* Now I need you to clean up a Construction Site. These bugs don't even wait for the building to be finished!

When Osmo finished his sentence, I immediately began heading inside the Construction Site and began to hope I can enjoy more of this game.

Construction Site I

[Entrance of Construction Site I at the hallway from walking through two flights of stairs]

While I entered the Construction Site, it seemed everything seemed normal inside the building. And of course there's no music at all, that is only when you entered half of this map. Anyways, I went through two flights of stairs and entered through the door. Since that, I continued walking through the hallways and managed to find a door that leads me inside of the level. After I managed to get there, I went straight to the Construction Elevator and it went down for a few seconds.

While it stopped, I went to the part of where you have to zipline through the other side. Right when I arrived there, I began ziplining through the level and collected all of the Precursor Orbs as I could. Since I managed to get to the other side, I quickly jumped off and found some of the Precursor Orbs that are hidden and took out all of the enemies as well. However, I carefully took out a new enemy of this level which is the Flanker, the wasp like entity and there's one more that I will talk about later. So I jumped across the path and jumped on the trampolines to collect all of the Precursor Orbs and took out all of the Metal Head Bugs.

Right after taking those enemies out, I found my first Bug Juice Vial inside the level. But when I got to the part of where the Daxter had the climb to get to the other side. I noticed that the wrecking ball was not there and some of the platforms were already destroyed like how the normal version of the game is. At first I thought it was a glitch since the game was made in 2006. But I shrugged it off and headed to the other side of the map.

Once I arrived there, I jumped one of the platforms and patiently waited to get the one Precursor Orb without falling off the map. I managed to get that one Precursor Orb and jump into the next platform and began crawling through the tunnel. About a couple seconds later, it faded to black for a few seconds and it showed a cutscene of where Daxter meets Taryn inside the Construction Site. Now this scene is where Taryn tells him how he was one of the lame exterminators and how he would not be able to take out those new Metal Head with only the weapon he has. However, she then hands Daxter a Spray Gun and tells him that should pull the crane when he finishes taking out those Metal Heads.

When the cutscene ended, the music began to play and I began searching for every hidden item that had the Precursor Orbs inside of them. So after I collected all of the Precursor Orbs, I Press O to Spray on to the enemies, which kills the Termites and stunned those Metal Backs as well. After I did that, I began taking out those Metal Backs and met my second new enemy. Now this is where those Metal Slugs first appeared and it can be a pain in the ass to deal with. However, I used my Spray Gun to spray on the Metal Slug and began taking it out.

Right when I took out the Metal Slug, I began finding each spot of the area and noticed that I found all of the Precursor Orbs to check if I did it or not. But about a couple seconds, Taryn then said her usual sentence to Daxter.

Taryn: *Speaking in the Communication Device* Grab the crane. I'll take you up.

Once Taryn said that, I grabbed onto the crane and she began moving the crane into another platform. While she did that, Taryn then said her usual sentence and gave Daxter an instruction.

Taryn: *Speaking in the Communication Device* You're in position fuzzball. Drop down and clear the platform. I'll pick you up when the bugs are gone.

Right when Taryn said that, I began dropping down and immediately took out all of the enemy and found a few of the Precursor Orbs inside the first platform. Since I already completed this first platform, I grabbed onto the crane and she said that he has two more to go. When I got to the second platform, I jumped off the crane and began to spray my Spray Gun at the enemies and began taking all of them out. Not only did I manage to do that, I also found and collected all of the few Precursor Orbs inside the platform. After I managed to do that, Taryn then explained how he has one more to go.

Right after she said that, I grabbed onto the crane and waited until she stopped. Once she did that, I dropped down and began all of the enemies. But when I was about to take out a Metal Slug, it shot me with a dark eco blast and I heard Daxter scream every time you take damage. However, the scream was much louder than ever and my volume of my PSP was only 5. This made me so confused about how loud that scream was.

But I shrugged it off and found only a few Precursor Orbs inside of the last platform. Not only that, I managed to gain my health back by finding a Health Pack and taking out the last enemy. When I did that, I grabbed onto the crane and Taryn began explaining how Daxter can find his way back and meet her at the bar. Since she said that, I immediately jumped off the crane and double jump and Press square and managed to grab onto the platform. Right when I did that, I jumped onto the platform and collected the Precursor Orbs and the Battle Token as well.

So while I did that, I began defeating a few enemies and crawling under the vent. Since that, I made it to the part where you have to jump on the pipes and have to jump to the other pipe in order to get to the other path. I managed to collect a few of the Precursor Orbs and made it to the other path and took out those Termites. Anyways, I jumped onto the pipe and began crawling on the pipe and did the same thing like I did to the other pipe. After I got to the end of the pipeline, I began to double jump across the path and jumped to the other side.

Right after I arrived there, I began crawling under the vent and began spraying two of those Metal Slugs and managed to take them out. I began finding every Precursor Orbs inside the area and took out the last enemy and got some fuel gain that these enemies rarely drop on green spouts. Since I collected all of those Gold Gems, I began ziplining through the level and began collecting the Precursor Orbs and dodge all of the obstacles. I managed to get to the other side and got the one Precursor Orb that is a bit easy to miss. While I got the one Precursor Orb, I entered a Construction Elevator and waited for a few seconds until it stopped.

Once it stopped, I entered the last area and the music stopped. Since the music stopped, I began finding and collecting a few Precursor Orbs that are on the ground. Right when I collected the Precursor Orbs, I began climbing on top of the platform and began ziplining and only to jump to reveal that I collected a Bug Cage as well. Since I collected the Bug Cage, I double jumped on top of the platform and began ziplining and dodging the obstacle and got the last two Precursor Orbs inside this level. When I collected all 40/40 Precursor Orbs and 25/25 Gold Gems, I began jumping into another zipline and dodged the last obstacle to exit the level.

While I made it to the exit of the level, I heard Osmo's usual voice line inside the Communication Device.

Osmo: *Speaking in the Communication Device* Calling Daxter, come in Daxter. Return to the Kridder Ridder shop immediately!

After Osmo said that on the Communication Device, I immediately began heading inside Osmo shop and it then showed the cutscene. Now this cutscene is where things are starting to get a bit disturbing. It showed that Kaeden, the villain of Daxter, has been telling Osmo that he has failed three more infestations and threatening to take his business if he fails one more time. But the way Kaeden speaks to Osmo is a lot more angry than usual and his voice was in a creepy tone as well. Osmo on the other hand, has been telling him that his business has been in his family for generations and how his grandfather made the place what it is.

However, Kaeden then said that he promised Osmo that he will run him out of town and make him a bug bait soon enough. I noticed the way of what Kaeden just said is a lot more sinister than before. He begins walking out of the Osmo shop and Daxter is curious about what just happened. Osmo then tells Daxter that both of them are in trouble and if they don't finish completing jobs soon, he will lose his business. But then, the bug alert came and he then tells Daxter that he found something big and heads to the Hanger.

This part was normal and Osmo then shows Daxter how he can use Little Betsy for the mission. Daxter on the other hand was a bit surprised that Little Betsy is actually an old Zoomer that has been in the Osmo family for centuries. But the rest of the cutscene was normal and he then tells Daxter that he needed to take out the one enemy.

Breezy Valley I

[This is how the Breezy Valley looks like while Daxter is riding a Zoomer]

Once the cutscene had ended, I was starting to get confused about how Kaeden was acting a bit different during the cutscene. But again, I shrugged it off and I Pressed X to zoom my way inside the Warp Gate. Right when I arrived inside the Breezy Valley, I began heading to the part of where Osmo explains how he collects spray from the vent and how Daxter can eliminate those bugs. While he finished explaining to Daxter, I began refilling my Spray Meter and began spraying the plants. This mission is easy because all you have to do is to cure 26 plants that were bug infested across the Valley.

But you have limited time to complete the first part of the mission before time runs out. Since it was so easy, I began finding every plant to cure them by Pressing the R Button on top of my PSP and kept refilling by finding the green bug spray vents. When I managed to complete the first part of the mission, it then showed how the big planet is now infected by those purple bugs and Osmo explains that he needs to crash those purple bugs before the plant dies. Right after he said that, I immediately crashed all 6 Purple Bugs around the plant and completed the second part of the mission. However, when I completed the second part of the mission, it then showed a Hive Queen from Breezy Valley coming out of the hole from the big plant.

After the Hive Queen (Breezy Valley), which is the first boss that came out from the hole, Osmo then said his usual sentence.

Osmo: *Speaking in the Communication Device* That's the Queen, Daxter. Don't let her escape!

Since Osmo said that on the Communication Device, I began to chase down my first boss fight of this new Metal Bug. Now this one is a huge Metal Bug that can fly around the map and the only way to defeat her is to run her over by cutting her off. This sounds easy to do, but sometimes it can be a pain in the ass, when the boss is far away from you. The music was normal and I began following her and managed to run her over. But when I did that, the music went low pitched and the Hive Queen (Breezy Valley) scream was in a creepy tone as well.

[Daxter takes damage on the Hive Queen (Breezy Valley) on the Zoomer]

So far her Health Bar is 2 out of 3 and she began flying away. Once I managed to take damage from her, I realized that this was not normal because of how the music's normal pitch changed and how the boss scream changed as well. But I continued to do the same strategy to cut her off and the music became now more low pitch, and her scream was now in a creepy distorted tone. Now I am beginning to realize that this was not a normal game that I remembered and began to hope that this doesn't continue to happen. However, when I managed to take one last damage on her, since her Health Bar is 1 out of 3.

The Hive Queen (Breezy Valley) then made a long deep creepy distorted scream and she began to curl into a ball and began showing her normal death scene. Since I managed to defeat her, I began finding every Precursor Orbs of where it is hidden and found one Bug Juice Vial, one Battle Token and one Bug Cage as well. When I managed to collect everything inside the level, the music stopped and I began heading back to the Warp Gate. Right after I entered back to the Warp Gate, it then shows the cutscene of where Daxter accidentally crashed Little Betsy. Daxter then began trying to put back all the parts of Little Betsy and began putting the cover over the Zoomer.

After he did that, Osmo then showed up and he was glad that Daxter came back. Daxter then tells him that he will wash Little Betsy up to avoid getting trouble with Osmo. The cutscene ended and he then said his usual sentence.

Daxter: Don't know what it is about this Precursor stuff. But it sure makes an Ottsel want to catch a few Z's.

Matrix I (Dream Mode 1)

While Daxter just said that, I began heading to the bedroom and began Pressing O to start the first dream of Matrix I. Right when I did that, it showed the animation of Daxter crawling around in a circle and fades to black for a few seconds. Once the screen came back on, it showed Daxter who plays as Neo that fell from the sky and landed on the ground perfectly. Since he landed on the ground like how it was in the regular version of this game, it then showed those Agent Smiths that are portrayed by Gol Acheron from Jak I. Then it shows Daxer how he normally does to lure those Gol's to come fight him.

[This how the Matrix I looks like in Dream Mode of Daxter before taking the enemy]

When Daxter did that, I Pressed O to start. It showed that I have to defeat all 40 Agent Smiths in order to get the Bronze Trophy of this first Dream Mode. The first part was super easy, all you have to do is to wait for them to come to the face buttons that turns green and press it, in order to get the point. So I carefully take my time in order to defeat all of these enemies without losing my health. About a couple of minutes later, I managed to defeat all 40 of them and it showed Daxter jumping up into the air and he then woke up from his dream. Since Daxter woke up, he then said his usual sentence.

Daxter: I know Kung Fu!

After he said that, I just unlocked the Mid-air spin attack. This new attack move is to be used when you Press Square while in mid-air to attack enemies. But anyways, I Pressed O to start the Matrix I again and everything was normal. Right when I did that, I eventually Pressed O to start and did the exact same strategy to defeat those enemies again. Everything was going well until I reached 100 points.

Once it reached 100 points, I noticed that these enemies were moving a bit faster than usual and I quickly pressed the right face buttons until I reached 150 points. Since I reached 150 points, I noticed that these enemies were moving a lot faster and it began taking all of my Health Bar down to 0. Right after it did that, it showed his death animation of this dream level and it cut to black. When the screen came back on, Daxter woke up and I noticed he didn't say anything of his usual voice lines. So since I unexpectedly lost all of my Health Bar from that dream, I began to load save my data from this game and quit the game.

After I did that, I took the Daxter PSP UMD out of my PSP and turned off my PSP. I now decided to take a break from this game, and began to hope that things don't go wrong when I play again tomorrow from my winter break. TO BE CONTINUED!!
