Lincoln: No! I Need YOU.  You're my only Sister!
Lucy: I can't. I have to follow him now. Don't cross.
Lincoln:  Why?!

Lucy: ... I have to go. Keep living for me, alright?
Lincoln: S-Sure

There were maybe somethings I changed >~< I'm sorry. I added a third character because i needed something to lead Lucy away. I did the most simplest scenery I could think of since they said no scenery and I don't know how to do grief scenes so I've failed that completely, I've also made a tiny comic because I can't do no one scene.

The cut of red and white lines is not heaven and hell. It's just the afterworld and the living world. I tried to make it look like it's a type of tread which connects each world together yet it's not physically connected. It's like a bridge from the living world to the afterworld, but the tread in between is stopping people from the life world or the afterworld to go to opposite sides. Unless the person from the living world is on their way to passing away, they're not allowed to go to the other side. For example, Lucy is terribly injured, she would be able to see the afterworld which is red, but she would be standing where Lincoln is standing, she cannot walk to the other side, if the surgery for her did not go well, she is able to cross the 'bridge'. The 3rd character who is 'G' will then lead her towards the afterlife.
I decided to not use eyes for them since how I draw eyes makes it look less grief and more fairy type. These two are twins, the girl named Lucy and the guy named Lincoln. They're both 15 and I tried my best to make them look related.
Lucy is being led to the afterworld because she is a (*Trigger warning ahead*)
hit-and-run victim, hence the tattered clothes. I tried my best.
Because before Lucy was led to the afterworld, Lincoln managed to see her one last time, because of the death of his only sister Lucy, he then realised that he needed her because she was always there for him no matter what, (he didn't really caremabout her when she was alive) so he tried to join her as well, his finger tips being blacked because he was on the way to the afterlife, but Lucy told him to live his life for her, taking that as her last wish, he did not cross the 'bridge' any further, in the last scene you can see that he stepped away from the black area, going back to the living world, meaning that whatever treatment for him worked since he decided to keep on living.
The word G stands for Guide. He guides those who go to the afterlife after their passing. He's kinda like half demon half angel, so the horns and wings. He the one who watches for the passings, so he's kind of like Toriel from Undertale.

After looking at it again, I've realised that the colour for their clothing has almost the same theme as Peter Pan and Wendy (to me). I swear, it wasn't on purpose! I've also change a lot of stuff from the sketch so it'll look different.
